04/01/2026: A truly remarkable restaurant. Located directly on the lake, it offers a stunning view. The menu isn't terribly extensive, which, in my opinion, is a sign of the attention paid to the food served. We enjoyed excellent appetizers (the fish appetizer was interesting, and the prawns over polenta were delicious) and equally good first courses (paccheri with perch and the classic casonsei pasta). I also think the small bottles offered are a smart choice (there's a good selection), for those who don't want to overdo it with wine. The only minor flaw is that the appetizers weren't served at the same time, but rather with a reasonable amount of time between them, but there were quite a few customers, which is entirely excusable. Prices are in line with the food served. Of course, we can't help but mention the setting: Lovere is truly a stunning place. It's worth walking along the lakeside and visiting the inland part of town. Very chic!!!
31/12/2025: We stopped in Lovere for lunch at this restaurant. The place is well-maintained and clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We ordered three pizzas, which were truly delicious, and the desserts were delicious! The view of the lake is the icing on the cake! Definitely recommended.

02/01/2026: From the outside, it's hard to tell what the restaurant is all about. We were helped promptly at the downstairs counter and directed to the upstairs restaurant. The service there was good, and the staff were very helpful. Unfortunately, we really expected the pizzas to come from a real wood-fired oven. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. As a result, the pizzas weren't very tasty. Fortunately, we were able to park easily nearby, and the area was beautifully lit.
01/01/2026: We arrived at 7:15 pm on December 31st. We expected a lot of people and to be turned away, but no! Maybe because we arrived early and there were 2-3 other tables before us, but only a 5-minute wait for the pizza and a few more minutes for the casoncelli! We ate very well and could return without a doubt! The waiters were very kind and helpful!

05/01/2026: Let's pretend the place is clean, let's pretend there are no cobwebs, okay, what about the rest? The service was embarrassing to say the least: the young woman working the tables was very thorough and kind, the owner was embarrassing to say the least.
I quote the conversation verbatim:
"Would it be possible to remove the eggplant?"
"No."
"But I'm allergic..."
"Then get something else..."
"But I don't like the rest, can't you just remove the eggplant?"
"No..." then you're not eating..."
Now, I understand everything, but there were a thousand other ways to respond; then, once I pointed out (and I should point out that my friend hadn't eaten...) at the cashier, the response was a chuckle.
I'd say offensive and poor.
04/01/2026: A shame, the owner is embarrassing to say the least. Rude and at times unnecessarily "a phenomenon." I won't be returning.
