16/06/2024: Beautiful restaurant overlooking Lake Iseo. We have visited it several times and have always left satisfied, every time we return to Lovere it has become a fixed stop: the food is excellent, the portions are right (neither small nor excessive) and the quality-price ratio is very good. Quick, efficient and courteous service. Both free and paid parking near the venue. Better to book, it's always very popular.

15/08/2024: I had lunch with my family on the veranda of this restaurant, an exemplary setting for a magnificent view. You can breathe the lake, the flowers, nature. The kitchen offers traditional dishes. Friendly wait staff and professional service, very kind welcome. What pleasantly struck me and deserves praise is the attention to gluten-free and lactose-free dishes: for every dish there is an alternative for intolerants. Worthy. All ideal, without the need for any artifice. The mixed fried fish and vegetables was unforgettable, dry, but at the same time crunchy. And as a worthy conclusion, the artisanal ice cream, creamy and creamed to perfection. See you soon, for other choices to savor with a view of the lake.

18/08/2024: Good welcome. Very good appetizer, tagliolini 👍 Too bad the mixed fried food was a little greasy and the prawn tails still had the gut... with the time the owner wastes in noisy chatter... a little more attention would have been the best

25/08/2024: Quick lunch passing through Lovere, served at tables outside, detached and concise staff, acceptable times for the dishes ordered. Baked sea bream excellent cooking, mixed fried a little greasy, therefore not very crunchy. Price a little higher than average.

25/08/2024: 08/23/24 LAKE ILLUSION…. I booked a dinner for 3 outside to celebrate a 25th anniversary and when we arrived the table was not yet set and reserved. Terrible experience with both food and service. €24 for a tasting seafood starter, with mediocre mussels, 1 good red prawn, 4 prawns and some salmon from the bag (embarrassing presentation of the dish). €15 spaghetti with seafood: good pasta, good flavour, but the fish???? A pack of frozen ready-made seafood? I have a strong doubt... but you can't put something on the menu without having at least decent raw materials. €20 seared tuna: frozen tuna steak, made on the same grill as the cut of meat, very very salty, just defrosted inside. Mixed fried food: good but well over 50% battered vegetables. Waiter with palmtop for orders at a French table next door: after ordering an Arneis on the list, but not having it in the cellar…. he corrects himself and asks if they wanted a fruity wine. Then he suggests a Gewurztraminer (fruity???) and after uncorking it he puts his nose near the neck of the bottle to smell it and exclaims: smell that red fruit and pomegranate scent!!!! 😭😭😭😭 To cry!!!
