30/01/2025: 5-star location, given that you dine directly on the sea. 5-star service of impeccable professionalism, but I would give 10 stars to the food if there were any, because dining here at Babette is a unique experience of the 5 senses. having chosen a tasting menu I didn't expect such perfect service. Each course is beautiful to look at initially, then the aromas delight your sense of smell but when you taste it you reach the pinnacle of perfection. You also think about the fact that the dishes are not I'll fill you up but I got to the end and was more than satisfied, and I'm a person who eats a lot. A Michelin restaurant, you really deserve the excellent ratings.

30/01/2025: It looks very much like a pub with pubs and pubs in that style, and a very original decor. Very popular with tourists, simple and very friendly management. Excellent food, friendly local, it feels like being at home. In the center of the town , convenient for a nice walk after lunch or dinner to see the historic area of the town.

05/10/2024: Local with splendid view of the Gallinara island. Excellent food served by Alfa, a very nice guy, very knowledgeable and polite.. who, at every course, asks you if everything is okay.. Francesca the "boss" is a very sweet girl who advises you and makes you feel at home.. It is now our trusted restaurant for an evening as a couple or in company.

17/09/2024: In zona per occasione estemporanea, ci siamo fidati delle recensioni, solo parzialmente rivelatesi esatte. Quantità non certo abbondanti pur se la qualità è confermata. Gentile e cortese il servizio. Conosciamo posti, in Riviera, dove si mangia bene e tanto ad un prezzo inferiore.

24/12/2024: Semplice, genuino e gustoso, questi sono gli aggettivi che mi sentirei di attribuire al pranzo di oggi. Nessun piatto elaborato, nulla di eccessivo, ma una ottima cucina del territorio, con accostamenti tradizionali, uso di materie prime fresche, ortaggi locali (troneggiano gli splendidi carciofi di Albenga). Abbiamo assaggiato il menù degustazione (tre antipasti, un primo, un secondo, un dolce). Ottimo il brandacujun, proprio come lo si fa a casa, molto buone le seppie grigliate su misticanza; sontuosi primi, con pasta fresca, gamberoni e carciofi (la porzione era veramente abbondante) e, infine, molto gustosa l’ombrina alla ligure, morbida e profumata. Cassata non eccezionale, pigato Calleri a mio avviso troppo caro ma, insomma, la prova ha dato ampia soddisfazione a tutti. Il locale, come ricordavo, sempre eccellente e curato.
Il prezzo, tutto sommato, adeguato: menu’ di degustazione a 45 euro, più vino, coperto, acqua
10/12/2024: Ristorante con prezzi non economicissimi non giustificato con quanto proposto nei piatti e con un'offerta di menù senza particolari fantasie o sorprese, in linea per molte portate a quanto si può trovare altrove a prezzi più contenuti.

30/01/2025: Typical place in the town center with tables also outside. We tried the paella, good, but honestly we spent a little too much for the quantity of the dish. The service was courteous.

17/07/2023: Tutto il mio disappunto, metà luglio, sabato scorso, ristorante chiuso senza che se ne faccia cenno sul sito. Ho chiamato diverse volte nell'arco della giornata, ( dava aperto sul sito) , si inseriva la segreteria che, non segnalava la chiusura. Inaccettabile.

20/08/2024: Bas de gamme sur les produits ! Les sauces des pâtes dignent d’un mauvais supermarché .
Bolognaise sans viande ! Présentation sur l’assiette qui ne donne pas envie !! Bref un repas raté pour un pays avec une si bonne gastronomie . À fuir.
09/08/2024: Vergogna! Eravamo in attesa di un tavolo nel locale adiacente a questo, visto che i tempi si stavano allungando un po' troppo stavamo valutando la possibilità di entrare qui. Ci trovavamo fisicamente a ridosso dei suoi tavolini (lo spazio è quello che è) quando il proprietario che non aveva capito le nostre intenzioni ci fa spostare in modo molto sgarbato. Ovviamente NON siamo entrati e non ci riproveremo neanche un'altra volta!!! Vorrei fare meditare certi gestori, forse a volte un po' di gentilezza in più non guasterebbe!!! Questa volta hai perso 4 clienti, se continui così...chissà

24/09/2023: Visto che ha chiuso la pizzeria dove mangiavo la pizza ai frutti di mare, su consiglio che pensavo autorevole, mi è stato indicato questo locale. La pizza ha un impasto poco alveolato ed il risultato è che, in cottura, la parte inferiore crea un effetto "guscio", che non permette una buona cottura della parte superiore. Alla fine è una pizza molto croccante e difficile da tagliare. I frutti di mare, cozze, strisce di seppia ed un gamberetto, erano palesemente di cattivo odore e di gusto pessimo in tutte e 3 le componenti. Sono stato costretto a rimandare indietro la pizza perché immangiabile. Il proprietario ha tentato una giustificazione puerile, attribuendo alla cottura il problema... (allora fammi assaggiare il prodotto pre cottura e ne parliamo..). Probabilmente, se avessi ordinato le acciughe impanate e fritte e gli spaghetti alle vongole, la cena ed il giudizio finale, sarebbero stati diversi. Questo può spiegare le recensioni molto differenti. In ogni caso, essendo del settore, arrivato a casa, ho provveduto ad una profilassi antibiotica, per evitare i problemi notturni lamentati da qualcuno. Per fortuna "a nuttata" è passata senza danno.
Entrando nel locale vedrete il cartello VENDESI.
27/08/2023: Consigliatoci da amici del posto. Dispone di parcheggio. Locale, essenziale ma pulito. Personale gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo assaggiato un po' di tutto, antipasti, primi, secondi, pizze e calzoni. Tutto ben cucinato e di qualità.
