Unfortunately, living miles away, we weren't able to return, but I still remember the taste of the dishes, especially the raw seafood. A restaurant that makes a difference and, above all, leaves a lasting impression! From the cleanliness to the quality, from the service to the open kitchen, from the location just steps from the sea...wonderful.

The dishes are truly excellent: elegant presentations, fresh ingredients, and well-thought-out pairings. Each course delivers clean, balanced flavors, and you can taste the work behind them. The dishes are carefully prepared, and the quality is consistent from the first to the last. It's one of those restaurants where it's hard to choose what you liked best because everything is just right. And even though it's always crowded, you can still chat comfortably and enjoy the evening. The kindness of the staff is another strong point: welcoming, smiling, and present without being intrusive. They explain the dishes calmly and follow the pace of the dinner well. Overall, it's a restaurant worth a visit in Sanremo: excellent cuisine, impeccable service, and an atmosphere that makes the evening special.

07/01/2026: We recently had dinner at Mare Blu, and the experience was delightful from start to finish. The restaurant immediately gives off a welcoming, local vibe — many guests were greeted personally by the owners and staff, which says a lot about how beloved this place is in the community. Our waitress, though not Italian, delivered impeccable service. She was polite, attentive, and carried a constant, sincere smile that added an extra touch of warmth to the evening. We chose the fuori menu, starting with paccheri con cape sante, followed by tonno as the main course. Every dish was flawlessly prepared. The tuna, in particular, was exceptionally tender and fresh — a real highlight. To finish, we shared a paradise cake, a layered dessert with a hint of alcohol. Despite its richness, it was absolutely delicious. Mare Blu receives my full recommendation. The food, the atmosphere, and the service all came together beautifully. Even our dog Toffee was given a comfortable and safe spot beside our table, which we truly appreciated. A lovely evening in every way. I look forward to returning.

06/01/2026: I'm only giving one star to the service, especially the welcome, given that the restaurant was "almost empty" at 7:30 PM and they said they were fully booked. Okay, maybe they were fully booked, but was it an effort to find a table for two for a quick dinner? I can assure you, they've done it in other places.

03/01/2026: A very negative experience. I was greeted unpleasantly by the owner, who spoke rudely to me upon arrival, saying "he wants this," just inches away from me as I was simply looking for someone to talk to about finding our table. I was then loudly scolded, in front of everyone, with the people at the tables watching us, for an alleged delay, despite having notified us 45 minutes in advance and having herself told us there were no problems. The place was clearly overcrowded, with too many tables and the adjacent ones too close together. We ordered quickly to free up our table, but still waited over half an hour for two pizzas. I spent almost €50 for two pizzas and two drinks, for truly terrible treatment. The pizzas weren't bad, but I would never return.

31/12/2025: We had dinner on December 28, 2025. The place was below street level, with tons of tables all packed together, and the ceiling was low. It was incredibly hot and stuffy, and the place was incredibly chaotic. I couldn't wait to leave. The bathrooms were filthy.

06/01/2026: Pizzeria in Sanremo with truly high-quality Neapolitan pizza! Fast service and reasonable prices! If you're in the area and want a good pizza, I highly recommend it.

06/02/2026: A small trattoria tucked away in the pedestrian restaurant district, with an equally warm welcome. We were served by a lovely, smiling young waitress—I wished I spoke Italian that evening! 🇮🇹 For our meal, we chose a plate of fritto misto, perfectly cooked and generous, followed by linguine vongole and mussels: a real treat, flavorful and well-stocked. To finish, lemon ice cream and a delicious tart. 🍋 It seems the house specialty is paella, so we'll have to go back to try this signature dish. A simple, friendly, and flavorful spot.

08/01/2026: A good place for lunch or dinner, very good food, prices a little high, but the quality seems good. The pizza is also very good. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

02/01/2026: Disappointed… a bottle of water was brought without us asking and charged twice at the end instead of once! Also, be aware that they charge for cutlery (€3 per person). However, the pizzas are still relatively good for the price.

01/02/2026: It's a pleasure to find a restaurant that serves gluten-free dishes, whether pasta or pizza. Even the bread was gluten-free. The pizzas were excellent, and the service was discreet, attentive, and quick. We even appreciated that the waitress, seeing my wife wasn't at the table, put the saucer on the coffee so it wouldn't get cold. Bravo!
