21/02/2026: We found this restaurant by chance while we were cycling in the area thanks to a gentleman passing by who recommended it to us. We were skeptical at first but were pleasantly surprised. We ate wonderfully, from the starter to the dessert.
Congratulations, when you do a good job, you have to write it down! 😉 We only have a photo of the dessert, obviously completely finished.
30/11/2025: Welcoming place, courteous staff, and a friendly owner. The seafood appetizer was exceptionally good and fresh, and the pizza was excellent, Roman-style.
I returned on August 15th with friends for a seafood dinner. Everything was delicious, from the mixed appetizer to the tagliolini allo scoglio, the fried fish, the side dishes, and the desserts.
Pietro, one of the owners, is always courteous and helpful, and the table service is also top-notch in terms of courtesy and speed.
If you're in Sabaudia, stop by; it's definitely worth it.
November 2025: Traditional polenta at Lo Zaffiro, exceptional, with broccoli, spare ribs, and sausage...always top-notch.

16/12/2025: A garden in the shadow of Mount Circeo; an ancient bakery capable of upholding tradition while renewing its offerings; a passionate family, deeply rooted in their local area and always committed to high-quality products. This is "Il Giardino del Pane" in Mezzomonte, San Felice Circeo. I discovered this place and have always returned with my family, delighted with the food and service. Professionalism, friendliness, and excellent taste are the hallmarks of this Pontine delicacy, a must-try.
26/10/2025: Very good: on our way back from Mount Circeo, we stopped here for lunch. It was a fitting end to a lovely bike ride: homemade lasagna, a nice glass of red wine, and tiramisu to finish. My partner had a mixed grilled vegetables that were equally tempting. In short, one of those places where you leave feeling truly satisfied, with a good price/quality ratio and friendly staff. We'll definitely be back.

22/09/2024: Purtroppo mentre scrivo questa recensione, ho un mal di testa insopportabile e una forte acidità di stomaco, stessa situazione per la persona che era a tavola con me. Colpa sicuramente del vino,pieno di soliti chimici, che appena degustato non mi era piaciuto, un Ribolla di una cantina sconosciuta che sui normali canali di vendita ha un costo di neanche 6 Euro, rivenduto a ben 24 Euro.
Risultato mal di testa fortissimo e domenica rovinata.
Per il resto alcuni piatti buoni come la tartare di gambero, ma gli altri non valgono il costo applicato.
La frittura per l'olio usato,i tonnarelli con vongole e lupini privi di mantecatura e con pochi molluschi e il saute di cozze dal sapore molto forte. Nulla da dire sul servizio e la gentilezza del personale e anche sulla qualità delle materie prime, ma le preparazioni ed rapporto qualità prezzo purtroppo generano un giudizio negativo.

Ristorante Da Ludo sul Lago

23/10/2024: Siamo consapevoli che a Gaeta a fine ottobre la maggior parte dei ristoranti sono chiusi. Praticamente questo è stato l'unico che ci ha dato disponibilità di mercoledì. Ristorante deserto. Oltre a noi un altra persona.
Non avevamo fame ma anche il menù non ci invogliava molto cosi scegliamo gli gnocchetti alla melanzana alla parmigiana. Mi sa che lo chef ha scordato di salare l'acqua. Erano veramente insipidi. Poi delusi scegliamo di prendere il dolce. La sfogliatella napoletana non era per niente croccante, molto simile ad una saponetta per il sapore. L'altro dolce al limone ... non saprei definirlo. Forse insulso. L'unica cosa meritevole di lode la location ed è per questo che ho dato 2 e non 1. Meglio poi di non parlare dei prezzi...

03/05/2025: Ha cambiato gestione da un po’, ma la formula è sempre vincente!
È aperto anche d’inverno nel fine settimana e da giugno ogni giorno.
Buonissima la frittura, tenera e leggera, con prodotto fresco che si sente! Le alici fritte sono grandi e una vera ghiottoneria. Anche il soutè di cozze molto buono, con prodotto locale, di quelle non grandissime, ma davvero dolci e saporite. Bravi!!
