21/01/2026: I dined at Il Fienile after hearing about it often, and I must say the experience was quite mixed. The quality of the food is good, to be sure: the dishes are well-presented, the ingredients seem meticulously prepared, and some of the dishes are truly delightful. However, everything else about the experience didn't live up to expectations, especially considering the prices.
The first thing that strikes you is the bill: significantly above average for the type of restaurant and the portions offered. I have nothing against restaurants that focus on more refined cuisine, but here the value for money is unbalanced, and the final feeling is that you paid too much for what you got.
Another aspect that significantly impacts the experience is the noise in the dining room. The ambiance is pleasant, but the acoustics aren't well managed: when the place fills up, it becomes difficult to converse without raising your voice. It's not ideal for a quiet dinner.
The service is present and generally courteous, but not always attentive. On more than one occasion, we had to draw attention to details that would normally be spontaneously noticed. Nothing serious, but it did contribute to the impression of a lack of attention.
The wait times, however, were truly long. This is surprising, given that the menu is very limited: just a few dishes, which should allow for quicker service. Instead, we waited so long between courses that the dinner became more tiring than relaxing.
In summary: Il Fienile offers good food, but everything surrounding the food—prices, timing, noise, customer service—isn't up to par. With a few tweaks, it could improve significantly, but as it stands, I wouldn't consider it a restaurant I'd recommend for a pleasant evening.
15/01/2026: The pizza was very good, especially the mozzarella, it was digestible even when eaten in the evening.

18/01/2026: Excellent restaurant. Perfect for any occasion, I've been several times with small groups or large tables. The service remains the same: delicious food, attentive and friendly service, and a beautiful and refined atmosphere.

01/01/2026: NEVER AGAIN SOMETHING THAT'S EVER HAPPENED IN MY LIFE.
A New Year's Eve to forget. We had booked the second shift to celebrate the new year. Our first encounter was with a young, unprepared waitress who couldn't answer some questions about some of the dishes. The appetizers arrived, which were good and plentiful, followed immediately by the tagliata and the grilled meat. We pointed out that the first courses still had to arrive (horrific). The second courses were brought back, and after a while the first courses arrived (good). Then the grilled meats and tagliata arrived again, and we pointed out that they were the ones mistakenly brought first, because the lard on the tagliata hadn't melted the first time. The waitress came back and claimed that the Chef said they weren't the same ones as before. Suddenly, another waiter arrived with incredible arrogance, saying that they were speaking in Italian and that we didn't want to understand. From there, I said, calm down, you can't afford to attack a customer who makes a complaint. The moral of the story is that I'll have the bill brought to me and we'll go home to toast. It's truly horrendous to ruin a New Year's Eve for people like that. The only positive note was the food and a very kind blonde waitress who was mortified by what happened.

Simple, friendly service
The only flaw was the chipped plates, absolutely not! They ruined everything that was good about the place... what a shame!!!!
