The fried fish is plentiful and thinly breaded, so it doesn't overpower the flavor. I must say, it was a great experience. The very kind and welcoming staff made us feel at home. Overall, good value for money.

29/06/2026: Vacation day in Termoli, we booked lunch at La Piovra, an excellent beach resort with a bright and airy restaurant overlooking the beach, and this is precisely what inspired us to have lunch by the sea. Two first courses, one with clams (lupini) and the other with mixed fish, average portions, let's say good. We then ordered fried calamari and a salad, both of which were unfortunately brought at the same time as the first courses... well... Of course, we asked for it to be brought after we finished the first courses, which they did, but in my opinion, the fried food was either kept warm or, in a different case, lukewarm and a bit rubbery, but let's say acceptable. A half liter of house sparkling wine and that's it. The bill was €64. Service was still fairly quick. Let's just say, considering the limited menu options, I'd recommend spending a few euros less per dish to justify everything else.

22/05/2026: Excellent!! Simple atmosphere, but great culinary quality!! Simple and tasty appetizers. I had a very special agnolotti first course, and a generous amount of fried fish! Overall, the owner was charming and proposed a menu that I appreciated!! Excellent price!!

10/05/2026: Very rustic and welcoming atmosphere, good food, good service. The cold starter and the fried calamari were a disappointment; they were cut too thinly. I like the texture of calamari. The first courses were very good.

The food wasn't very fresh; you could smell it, neither the fish nor the cuts of meat were fresh. The waitresses were completely incapable of providing professional service. They took away some people's plates, then brought new ones, and they'd forgotten to clear the table entirely. There were no cutlery. They didn't even understand Italian, and they got the order wrong. It was a disaster. Change the waitress and your job, you're incapable. The dessert and tiramisu weren't fresh. Everything was absolutely awful.
