19/04/2026: I've known this place for years, and it's always a sure thing. The atmosphere is well-kept and evokes Mexican culture in a pleasant and authentic way. The staff is known for their kindness and helpfulness: they often welcome you with nachos and salsa, a detail that immediately makes the difference.
The dishes are tasty, well-presented, and plentiful, with excellent value. It's also a great place to stop for a drink: the drinks are truly delicious, especially in the summer.
Highly recommended.

12/04/2026: A very welcoming and quaint atmosphere in the center of Padua, with typical Mexican food and pleasant background music.
Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends.
The only downside was the wait, which was more than worth it with the excellent and tasty food.
I will definitely be back.

27/04/2026: On Saturday the 25th, some friends and I came to try the sandwiches after seeing they also had a gluten-free menu.
The gluten-free sandwich was good, but what surprised me was the friendliness and politeness of the staff. I must thank Marta, who, after trying to understand my friend's pronunciation of the sandwiches in broken English, also inquired about any special requests for the gluten-free sandwiches.

A truly fantastic experience at Gato Gordo in Sant’Ambrogio! The atmosphere was welcoming, with attention to detail and a warm, pleasant feel. The staff was extremely kind and always available, making us feel immediately at ease. The products were excellent, everything was prepared with care and taste. A perfect place to spend a pleasant evening with friends. I will definitely return and highly recommend it!

05/05/2026: The quality/price ratio is the restaurant's strong point, as the portions are large for a fairly low price. However, the quality of the food is poor, with substandard ingredients and many items frozen. For the same price, you can find better places serving this type of cuisine.
08/02/2026: I've been a regular customer for two years now, especially at Sunday lunchtime, when they serve typical Veronese dishes like bollito e pearà (boiled beef with pear) or Venetian risotto.
The quality of the meat is excellent, and the prices are truly fair.
Also, find me another place in the lower Veronese area where you can eat delicious risotto with white Alba truffle on Sundays—there isn't one!
10/10
