From the moment we booked, the experience was impeccable. The attention to detail anticipated every need, making the experience of the restaurant and the menu a true guided tour. We were greeted with genuine warmth, making us feel immediately at home. The staff is highly knowledgeable, not only about the dishes but also about the culture behind them, and expertly guides us through the selection of dishes, explaining ingredients and traditions. The appetizers were an excellent introduction. The freshness of the ingredients and the balance of spices immediately made it clear that we were in the presence of "Gourmex" cuisine, as their name suggests: authentic and refined. Each bite was an explosion of flavors that prepared the palate for the very best. The highlight of the dinner was undoubtedly the tacos. Not your average taco, but a gastronomic work of art: succulent meat, perfect marinades, and above all, the combination with the fantastic, creamy, and flavorful black beans and the specially selected salsas, each designed to enhance the nuances of the filling. The care in pairing ingredients and textures was palpable, demonstrating a profound knowledge of authentic Mexican cuisine. If the savory dishes had convinced, the desserts simply triumphed. Strictly prepared on-site, they are the hallmark of a cuisine that leaves nothing to chance. Honorable mention goes to two masterpieces: - The Chocolate and Hazelnut Brownie: a perfect balance between the intensity of the chocolate and the crunchiness of the hazelnuts. - The Tamarind Baked Cream: an absolute surprise. 12/10/2025: I found this restaurant by chance while searching on Google, but it was a truly delightful stroke of luck. A TRUE Mexican restaurant with typical dishes and traditional flavors. The place is very well-kept, tidy, and clean. A pleasant atmosphere where conversation is easy. Everything was exceptional, but I was particularly impressed by the adobo ribs and the Quesadillas. We'll definitely be back. The service was attentive, fast, and friendly. You can see the care and passion they put into it. Highly recommended. We returned last night, and I can confirm the very positive review.

08/11/2025: I'm grateful for Mr. Diego's kindness in welcoming me and finding me a table. The meat was excellent! The staff were very friendly and smiling. I especially love this place for its high-end burlesque shows, the moving chandeliers, the bikers, etc.

27/10/2025: I went to Nasty with friends to see a burlesque show, and I had a blast! The staff was very friendly and always smiling, and the dinner and cocktails were very good. I definitely recommend it for a different kind of evening.

28/09/2025: Welcoming and delicious, I recommend it for couples or family dinners :) The staff is friendly and helpful, the portions are generous, and there's plenty of space outside. If you don't book, there's a chance you'll find a table during opening hours. Pets are welcome, and if you don't finish a dish, just ask to have it taken home.

08/11/2025: I'm celiac and sensitive to contamination, so having a peaceful dinner isn't always a given. At Mexí, I ate well, had a wonderful evening, and had a wonderful time. Attentive staff, delicious food, excellent sangria. A guarantee.

Being from germany it is really hard to find great mexican food and they are levels above anything I could find in germany so far. Really a pleasant suprise. I hope to be back some day.

08/11/2025: I've been coming here with my girlfriend for a while now, and we've always been very happy. The girls are very accommodating and kind, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is super welcoming. Top!

03/09/2025: We were there on the evening of August 15th. The place was nice, with the outdoor veranda, etc., but it was hot, no fan or anything. We died all evening at the dinner table, sweating, full of mosquitoes, and even worse inside. The food was good, nothing exceptional, the usual classic Mexican menu, nothing special. The margaritas were good. It was small but nice, but expensive, really overpriced, and the service was average.

03/11/2025: Not Mexican & Not Good. Enchiladas are not Enchiladas, quesadillas are not quesadillas. This was by far the worst meal of my entire trip in Italy. I ordered the enchiladas and it was a soft shell taco with chicken and weak enchilada sauce. The rice was not good and not Mexican rice. The beans were flavorless red kidney beans. My evaluation comes from my experience in Mexico and the cooking lessons I took there. If you go just don’t expect authentic Mexican cooking.

22/10/2025: Very small but very welcoming place. You can feel the warmth and welcome of this place. The dishes are nothing short of amazing and of good quality. In my opinion, the desserts selection is limited and the prices are very high. All in all, I chose this place to return to regularly with friends.

15/11/2025: A lovely American diner-style restaurant, full of references to American culture and cinema. I loved the atmosphere and the welcome was excellent. The food was decent: the burger was good, but the burrito was disappointing because it was mostly rice and lacked the chili flavor. In any case, if you want to unwind and feel like you're in a '70s/'80s American movie, this is the place to be.
