28/06/2026: Terrible experience. It was a scorching hot day in Aosta. The waitress, seemingly disoriented, told us there was no air conditioning in the restaurant, so we sat at a table near the entrance to get some fresh air. We ordered two drinks and she told us they didn't have ice. We should have already figured it out and left, but instead we ordered a burger whose bun was clearly industrial, accompanied by very salty, low-quality fries, and a basmati rice dish with zucchini, shrimp, and pineapple, all of which was missing, topped with an excessive amount of sauces that didn't match the rest of the ingredients at all. The result was a jumble of flavors with a poor result.
The basmati rice hadn't even been "separated" before serving and was scrunched up, a typical appearance of it having been cooked many hours earlier. The quality/price ratio was too high. Avoid!

23/02/2026: If you're passing through Arvier, Osteria Del Viandante is definitely worth a stop, especially for some surprising culinary offerings.
The Food: The real revelation was the guacamole: creamy, balanced, and honestly among the best I've ever had. The pizzas are also completely convincing: the crust has a unique texture, different from the classic Neapolitan or thin crust, but the overall flavor is excellent and the ingredients are quality.
Ambience and Service: The atmosphere is welcoming, simple, and with a decidedly family-friendly feel that makes you feel at ease. One small logistical point: there are no coat hangers, which can be inconvenient, especially in the winter months.
Note on Drinks: A sore point for beer lovers. The selection is very limited: only Moretti blonde beer is available on tap, and only 33cl bottles are available in bottles, with no options for those who prefer red or craft beers.
Logistics and Plus: A plus for electric car travelers: there's an EV charging station right in the parking lot in front. Plus, parking is plentiful and easy to find, making parking stress-free.

03/03/2025: Uno dei nostri posti preferiti per le giornate sulla neve a Champoluc.
Il Taconet può essere una tappa fissa per un break di metà mattina (toast e torte ottime…e un bombardino XL), la scelta giusta per un pranzo con gli amici tra una discesa e l’altra (molte alternative per chi vuole gustarsi prelibatezze o rimanere leggero - ma con gusto - per riprendere a sciare) e ancora….la meta per una serata unica.
Da provare almeno una volta la cena con arrivo sul gatto delle nevi….esperienza unica!!!!
Ulteriore valore aggiunto…la cortesia, professionalità e simpatia di tutto lo staff!
Consigliatissimo assolutamente!!!

26/03/2026: So, I've been going to the cafeteria for lunch and dinner for three years. It's now my second home; I feel great here and the food is delicious, but I absolutely have to vent to those who manage the kiosks at the entrance because it's disgraceful that one out of two problems result in miles-long lines and everyone has to wait, sometimes over 40 minutes, to eat. And my criticism also goes to those who should be at the kiosks, which are only one out of three times, making it impossible to fix the problems that arise when they stop working. That said, I love everything else about this place.
10/02/2026: The best I can say about the food is that it's edible (if you don't risk food poisoning from undercooked meat); the atmosphere is like a cafeteria, and the staff is semi-friendly. The only positive is the price, which is negligible in most cases.
