Price & service was also very good,

12/02/2025: We went on the advice of a friend and were struck by the quiet environment, the courtesy of the staff, the variety of truly typical Mexican dishes on the menu, the speed of the service and the goodness of every dish we tasted. Absolutely recommended!

21/01/2025: We entered the restaurant thinking about having some good mexican food.
After entering the restaurant we were hand signalled by some some guy sitting on the table to sit near the table next to the door(I have no idea who this guy was). Tables besides us were all empty. The crowd was inside the main dining area, where the ambiance was good.
Then came the menu, then after 10mins came the waiter to take the order. Then came the food in quite a decent time. But I really dont understand what kind of smoked chicken I had. It was definitely not smoked, but deep fried and was quite hard to have a bite and taste bland- absolutely no flavour. The waiter just kept the food on the table and vanished- like we were some lost people.
This kind of behaviour and service is not acceptable. The people working were very unethical. I dont like to create a scene but was really I was angry. Especially with that signalling guy who kept spying on us as well. In the end I was really upset with the way we were treated, the food we had and the time we lost.
04/01/2025: The pizza is truly a guarantee, thin, soft and tasty. The products used and their combination are truly excellent. The friendliness and kindness of the staff are commendable. Heartfelt congratulations, I recommend it.

13/01/2025: Ottima riconferma ad un locale pulito, e ben organizzato. Ottima la cucina, ho gustato un tacos vegetariano (fagioli, peperoni, melanzane, ...) accompagnato da tre salse.
Piatto da 10 e lode.... seriamente consigliato.
11/01/2025: We had been wanting some Mexican food since we haven’t had any for more than a month. We live in a nearby town.
We were happy to find this place.
The staff were friendly and prompt. We arrived a little before the crowds at 8:30pm on a Friday. You could tell the locals love this place.
We ordered cheese nachos and the meat burrito. Everything was really good. We had 2 large beers and water. If we had known the burrito came with chips and 3 dips we wouldn’t have ordered the appetizer. Our bill was $45 which is kinda pricey. We will be back.

Partiamo dal fatto che non accettano prenotazioni , uno deve aspettare come minimo 30/40 minuti per sedersi.
Proprio per questo motivo suppongo che il cibo e la velocità con cui ti servono tutto è una delusione.
Penso che la cena sarà durata alla incirca 30 minuti (di cui 15 minuti con affianco la coppia che doveva sedersi al posto nostro).
Cibo di scarsissima qualità e non per fare il pettegolo, ma ho dubbie provenienze del pollo (sempre se pollo è) un sapore veramente disgustoso.
Finché si pensa piu ai soldi piuttosto che alla qualità e al servizio, non mi vedranno mai piu e lo sconsiglieró a tutti i conoscenti.
Pessimo.
Ps: stamattina sono andato in bagno gia 3 volte e sono ancora le 9:20 del mattino

08/01/2025: Finally reopened... After a few years of closure, the only place that provides cuisine different from the others, has reopened its doors... The dishes are well taken care of in every detail, generous portions and modest prices. The service is tidy and well looked after, like the rest of the place, clean and well lit. The waiters come by regularly and take care of us with extreme friendliness. Highly recommended.

19/01/2025: Leaving aside the exaggerated prices, I didn't expect that there were only raw French fries inside the Tacos. The meat was 30 grams, the rest chips. Same thing with my girlfriend, I also don't remember that the menu had chips inside the sandwich.
08/12/2024: Orders via giant touch screen, you can pay via app card or at the cash register for boomers, the queue moves slowly because they cook everything expressly and it takes time, good and characteristic food, they don't serve french fries

03/08/2024: Sono un cliente abituale e mi ritrovo a mangiare al Decò circa una volta ogni tre mesi.
Eppure… gli amici cambiano, i tavoli e le temperature pure, ma certe cose restano sempre:
- Massima disponibilità e cortesia dello staff
- Tempi di attesa tavoli e pietanze accettabilissimi
- Queso imbattibile, Sangrìa wow e Charro straordinario
Questa volta devo rimarcare che il "gelato alla vaniglia" era forse più "panna congelata" ma vabeh, non l'ho ordinato io, a me neanche piace il gelato!

Sin dal primo passo all’interno del locale, l’accoglienza di Kevin ha stabilito il tono per una serata memorabile. La sua disponibilità e il desiderio di accontentare ogni cliente hanno reso il servizio impeccabile.
Il cibo, oh il cibo! Era di una qualità eccezionale, con piatti che esprimevano la vera essenza della cucina messicana. Ogni ingrediente era fresco e ogni piatto era preparato con cura, garantendo un’esperienza culinaria superlativa ad un prezzo che definirei più che giusto.
L’ambiente del DECO’ era ben curato, con un’atmosfera che ti trasportava direttamente in Messico. L’ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo è la dimostrazione che si può godere di un’esperienza gastronomica di alto livello senza svuotare il portafoglio.
In conclusione, il Ristorante Messicano DECO’ a Nicolosi è una gemma che brilla per l’accoglienza, la qualità del cibo e l’attenzione al cliente. È un luogo che consiglio vivamente a chiunque cerchi un’esperienza culinaria autentica e soddisfacente.
