29/03/2025: I was expecting the classic roadhouse type place and in fact it is a mix between that and a pub. Excessively large, I would never have expected to be served so quickly and surprise.... I ate really, really well! Nice choice on the menu, even of draft beers. Dynamic and friendly staff. Given the high number of tables they make you pay at the table every time you order something but I understand them, who knows how clever.... prices more than fair I will gladly return!
29/03/2025: The waitress with the red hair is really rude and doesn't take a second to respond badly to customers, the meat I got was very hard and inedible

Today, May 10th at 5:25 pm, I never thought a burrito could convey emotions, yet this one managed to make me feel everything: disappointment, anger, and a shiver down my spine worthy of a breakup. It seemed almost promising on the outside, but at the first bite I realized it was a trap. A warm wrapper that contained the coldest heart in the history of catering: cold cheese. Not “not melted,” not “just warm.” Cold. From the fridge. The kind that makes you wonder if you’re the one who made a mistake or if someone in the kitchen is playing a social prank.
The burrito was more of a wrap of despair, a roll of sadness topped with the illusion of a hot meal. I would have felt warmer eating an ice cube in the microwave.

15/05/2025: I find it ABSURD that payment is requested BEFORE receiving the food because "that's how it works here" but where have you ever seen me pay the bill before the food arrives?
Really anxious to pay for every single thing upon arrival or even before!
After dinner (paid before it arrived) we asked for water and he pays for the water.
We asked for coffees, he pays for the coffees.
In short, anxiety.
14/05/2025: Good aperitif and quantity. The only flaw in the garden outside I report the presence of mice that roam undisturbed inside.

20/12/2024: Awesome Mexican food. We tried basically one of each option for tacos and it was all 🔥. We also had one quesadilla which was excellent. I will return to try a tostada and eat more of these excellent tacos. Great selection of tequila and mezcal for the drinks. If you ever want to open another location in Amsterdam please hit me up.

08/05/2025: We had a reservation for saturday night - even got a confirmation for our booking via E-mail. When we arrived at the place, we were very surprised to see that the restaurant is permanently closed.

14/11/2024: Burrito arrived barely warm. Ingredients inside unrelated to each other, very little sauce, the individual ingredients not very tasty. The beans and rice seemed undercooked. Mexico where?

26/03/2025: Ci sono capitato per caso, cena pre-concerto all'Alcatraz, ero consapevole fosse una catena, non cercavo una cena gourmet, avevo voglia di cibo anche solo lontanamente Messicano, mi sembrava il locale giusto.
Il locale è molto carino, il personale è numeroso, con voglia di lavorare.
Il menù, offre una vasta selezione, prezzi carucci per la tipologia di locale, ma coerente con la zona; una larga scelta di cocktail, forse il locale è più per brunch/aperitivi/dopocena che per cene..
Veniamo alla parte dolente, la qualità del cibo.
I sapori, ok, si avvicinano ai sapori Messicani e anche le quantità sono veramente notevoli, però i burrito che abbiamo preso, erano al limite dell'immangiabile..
Mangio spesso in ristoranti Messicani e questa notte, sia io che la mia compagna abbiamo fatto molta, molta, molta fatica nel digerirli.
22/03/2025: Siamo stati a cena io e il mio compagno di sabato sera. Capitati in zona per caso, siamo entrati invogliati dal fatto che il locale fosse quasi pieno. Nonostante non avessimo prenotato,ci hanno fatto accomodare. Due piatti, uno di carne e fagioli l'altro una tagliata di carne. Due sangria. Queste ultime erano acqua annacquata, la carne non sapeva di nulla e i fagioli con carne sapevamo di simmental. Uno schifo.

08/03/2025: Excellent service, because you have to do it yourself.
Tacos that are quite small and (maybe for peak time) poorly made, not too good. The tortilla was a slab of obsidian, in fact I had surgery on my mouth.
Burrito, a bomb-proof Newtonian liquid, good flavor but because you compose it.
02/03/2025: The guy who served us ran the whole place by himself and did it as kindly, efficiently and quickly as possible.
Truly congratulations!
Food was great and we enjoyed it
