Colorful and welcoming atmosphere, very friendly staff. I hope the outdoor terrace I saw from the outside is used in the warmer months, because I think it would be really pleasant.
I'll gladly return.
24/04/2026: We've been eating at Aldea Antigua for several years, and it's always a guaranteed success. The food is authentic, and as true Mexican cuisine enthusiasts, we can say it's among the best restaurants we've tried in our travels around the world.
The service is impeccable: fast, friendly, and super efficient, with dishes that are always carefully prepared.
A well-deserved five stars! We highly recommend it. Plus, there's ample and convenient parking, which isn't always a given.

14/01/2026: Informal and quaint atmosphere. Fantastic staff, Marco the bartender, and the waiters are super smiley, friendly, and helpful. Excellent drinks. From 5 to 7 pm, drinks are only €5 and they always bring you a free appetizer. I go there every time I'm in the area! 🌞 Thanks!
19/12/2025: Keep in mind we're in Italy. I'm from Texas (sort of), which has many Mexicans and shares a very long border with Mexico - mad respect 🙏 The fact that they knew what madrecuishe was is already amazing. Great mezcal, great service, highly recommended.

14/04/2026: Second time here... second time I've had spaghetti with meatballs!! I loved it... the only negative was the Coke on tap, which seemed more like sweet medicine... I immediately pointed this out to the waiter, who simply justified himself by saying it wasn't their fault... but didn't offer a solution, for example, with a can of Coke (the Coke on tap had been -
Just tried) so I didn't consume it, and then there was the complaint... it's a shame because the place has great potential and the food is good... but this time, this is something worth mentioning.
13/04/2026: Edoardo and Rube were fantastic. Clean place, friendly staff, consistently high-quality food, top-notch desserts. I highly recommend the wafer waffle with a cup of plain coffee to finish it all off.

28/02/2026: We're longtime customers, having been frequenting Mexicali in Lecco for over fifteen years, ever since the legendary Rita's.
We love both the food and the ambiance (except for the snake in the window).
I love the warm atmosphere and the music, and the food is also very good. We eat fajitas and tacos. We're sad that there's no longer a loyalty card like there was years ago.
The staff is always friendly and helpful.
