18/01/2026: I'll really take the time to leave a meaningful review, so you can take the necessary precautions and think carefully before dining here. A key point: friendliness is the key to a successful business.
One of the things that really bothered us was the manager's attitude, who consistently maintained a domineering, arrogant, and overbearing attitude toward us. It was a birthday party, and there was no need to ruin it like this.
On the other hand, if children are unwelcome, it would be appropriate to display a notice or inform the person when making a reservation by phone, specifying that children are not accepted. Alternatively, better table organization would be ideal to accommodate families with children.
The payment method could have been explained calmly and kindly: it's not the first time this method has been used in other establishments, and managers usually explain it politely, without excessive arrogance.
I'd like to highlight the waitresses' work: they were kind and attentive, served the food promptly, and offered alternatives while we waited. The food was good, too.
It's a shame that, due to just one person, the experience was so unpleasant. Some friends had already warned me about this, and I decided to give it a chance anyway, but unfortunately, I have to admit they were right. That said, there's always room for improvement.

28/10/2025: There were five of us, and we tried different dishes. Everything was delicious, and the service was quick! The only small flaw was that when you leave, your clothes smelled a bit too much like the kitchen... but otherwise, it was a more than positive experience!

28/01/2026: I was in Mexico several years ago. I love Mexican cuisine, and wherever I go, I'm always happy to try a Mexican restaurant. For many years, my friends and I have been organizing dinners at Baquito, and I have to say that so far, I haven't found anything better when it comes to Mexican food. Everything is always delicious; in my opinion, it's the restaurant that comes closest to authentic Mexican flavors. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The pizza is also very good. The place is unique, and in the summer, you can eat on the terrace right on the beach.
A great choice if you want to try Mexican cuisine!

My daughter is lactose intolerant, and despite our comments, there was cheese on her plate.
I recommend you reconsider your vegetarian option because it was inedible, a thousand ingredients thrown into the piadina, tasteless and lacking any flavor.
Impeccable service.

18/01/2026: The dishes fell well short of expectations, with little flavor, no spices, and a lack of typical Mexican flavors.
The classic margaritas arrive half-filled, and the frozen ones are overfilled with ice. This clearly shows management's desire to economize: understandable, but order smaller glasses for the classic margaritas.
The service was quick and precise, but there was no real desire to introduce guests to Mexican cuisine or explain to less knowledgeable guests what they were eating.
03/12/2025: I had high expectations for this place, and well, the food was disappointing. The tacos were tasteless, and honestly, not offering homemade salsa is a sin for a Mexican restaurant. Just one bottled salsa—how sad. As for the drinks, they're a 10 out of 10, and the service is also fast and friendly.

High-level rudeness and incompetence. The owner is definitely not present and doesn't know who's running the business... we travel a lot in Italy and abroad... for a gourmet fast food place with high prices, the price and quality are reasonable... but the real gem, I've never seen before, is the cover charge (placemat and paper napkin), which everyone has their own policy... after my request for some bread to accompany a plate of fried chicken wings and other appetizers, we found ourselves with the cost of a large sandwich on our bill... shameful, we wouldn't recommend.
09/01/2026: The best burger I've had in years. I discovered this great place by chance with my sister after returning from the Santa Corona hospital.

04/09/2025: Terrible food on all levels. Horrible margarita, had some "buffalo" chicken wings. They were plain unseasoned chicken wings with a side of buffalo sauce. The bbq sauce in the bbq ribs was horrendous, disgusting, looked like a one way trip to diarrhea land.

26/12/2025: It's not Mexican food. Tacos are Tex-Mex style, meaning American; in Mexico, corn tortillas are more common than flour tortillas. Chili con carne is also a Tex-Mex invention.
By the way, bachata isn't of Mexican origin. The intention is good, but it's not Mexican...
