The nachos seemed to be made by them, as were the tortillas, very good. The fajita is recommended.
More than fair cost.

16/02/2025: Good Mexican restaurant near the center of Chiavari with generous portions. However, I must report the last experience I had at dinner with my girlfriend, which left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. Although we were the first to sit down, we ate last, with an hour and a quarter of waiting. Once the food arrived, due to my error in communicating an intolerance of my girlfriend, we had to send her dish back (they didn't charge us for it). It was very unpleasant to see the waiters gossiping not far from us; I fully understand their disappointment, but these things can happen and my girlfriend and I were not rude at all (at least they could have stayed out of sight). After ordering another dish, and waiting for another 40 minutes, the pieces of grilled meat arrived almost raw (the waiter didn't ask us how we wanted it cooked). I would recommend this restaurant, having been there many times with different companies and having eaten well, however this time I was quite disappointed.
08/02/2025: Excellent and plentiful, very kind, small but welcoming environment. Less than 80 euros for 4. Lots of meat, some vegetables and sauces, a Mexican bread.

02/03/2025: The menu offers a wide variety of typical dishes, from tacos to burritos, passing through enchiladas, fresh guacamole and an excellent selection of hot sauces. I tried the tacos and their flavor was incredible: perfectly marinated meat, soft tortillas and very fresh toppings. The quesadillas with cheese and jalapeños were also delicious, with a perfect combination of flavors.
A little tip: book in advance, especially on weekends, because the restaurant tends to fill up quickly.

07/01/2025: The food does not reflect what the place should be, I don't see a frankfurter in an Argentinian barbecue. The chicken was very dry.

08/02/2025: In Camogli on a rainy weekend. The search for a restaurant to eat in becomes difficult. Every place seems like a tourist spot or too expensive for our budget. Finally we come across the Taberna Don Ricardo. The place is warm and welcoming and above all unexpected. Perhaps it is not obligatory to eat typical food this time too, but we can indulge in an informal chat at the table of a Mexican taberna. The food was good and plentiful and served with a smile. It deserves all 5 stars!
11/01/2025: Practically impossible to book in a "suitable" way on the agreed day they pointed out that there was no table already booked for a week even though I had also shown the call I was told that at the time of the call they were closed. table postponed to the next round

23/12/2024: The La Spezia bar is a little gem in the heart of the city. Although the internal spaces are small, the external area is used impeccably, creating a welcoming and lively atmosphere. It is a point of reference during peak hours, both for breakfast and for afternoon aperitifs, mainly attracting a young and dynamic clientele.
The aperitifs are simply excellent: a perfect balance between quality and price that is difficult to find rivals. Particular praise goes to the owners, always kind and attentive to customer needs. Gianni, in particular, stands out for his friendliness and professionalism, making every visit a pleasant experience. He is the soul of the place, the detail that really makes the difference.
Returning to the La Spezia bar is always a pleasure, an unmissable event for those looking for a place to feel at home.

20/02/2025: Non lo consiglio sia per la qualità del cibo poco gustoso e che poco ricorda la cucina messicana sia per la scorrettezza del personale. Avevamo infatti prenotato con largo anticipo con la promozione The Fork per la sera di San Valentino e all'ultimo hanno annullato la prenotazione; ci abbiamo riprovato due sere dopo e non hanno applicato correttamente lo sconto (ovviamente a loro favore), inoltre hanno avvisato The Fork che non ci siamo presentati in modo tale da far cancellare la recensione rilasciata.

19/11/2023: The place is welcoming and clean, the staff is friendly and the pizzas are good even if they could be richer. We had a good time and will certainly return, the only sore point being the desserts which were a little disappointing. They make pizza for celiacs.
