02/12/2024: A pochi km da Perugia, sulle rive del Tevere offre una cucina raffinata di buona qualità. Il locale è ristrutturato in modo raffinato e accogliente. Ideale per una cena di lavoro o per le occasioni speciali in un ambiente tranquillo e molto pulito e cordiale. A pranzo si gode di uno splendido panorama.

Mixed appetizer of truffle and porcini mushrooms.
Sliced with truffle, excellent!! veal steak not abundant, accompanied by artichokes.
Very good desserts to choose from.
I will definitely come back

11/06/2024: We have been dining with delight at La Castagna for over 30 years. Now Maria has become rather old and deaf, and son Lucca has taken over. It's still a marvelous place but not quite the same.
