06/01/2025: On January 6th with friends we stopped for lunch in this place, we ate really well, I recommend the cappellacci stuffed with lentils and white ragout (really top) and the onion flan with saffron fondue and flakes of pecorino cheese (until today among the best I've ever eaten). The owner was very kind and friendly, ready to bring us plenty of homemade bread to the table without request. I recommend stopping by at least once, your taste buds will thank you.. 🤗
06/01/2025: Cordiality, kindness, friendliness, in a well-kept environment from times gone by, on the hills, outside the town centre; tranquility and relaxation in a family restaurant where the food is excellent, of a high standard and at absolutely competitive prices.

C'ero andato per il pesce e mi è piaciuto.
Oggi invece carbonara.
Veramente OTTIMA, fatta cproprio come si deve.
L'ho mangiata in tanti posti,tanto acclamati, Mirco ad oggi il migliore.

02/12/2024: A pochi km da Perugia, sulle rive del Tevere offre una cucina raffinata di buona qualità. Il locale è ristrutturato in modo raffinato e accogliente. Ideale per una cena di lavoro o per le occasioni speciali in un ambiente tranquillo e molto pulito e cordiale. A pranzo si gode di uno splendido panorama.

11/06/2024: We have been dining with delight at La Castagna for over 30 years. Now Maria has become rather old and deaf, and son Lucca has taken over. It's still a marvelous place but not quite the same.
