26/01/2025: I visited a restaurant with a homely atmosphere, which promised an experience of eating like in someone's home. Unfortunately, there were several negative aspects: - Food: The first courses were overcooked and we found baking paper in the fried vegetables. This is unacceptable for a restaurant. - Service: It was VERY SLOW. After finishing eating at 4.30pm, we asked for a coffee, but were told this was not possible as they had to clear the table for dinner. This is truly UNACCEPTABLE. -Staff: some very professional and kind waiters, except for a gentleman who got angry with one of my friends, I have no words. In conclusion, the experience was below expectations. I don't think I'll return. Not recommended.

08/09/2024: Nos alojamos en Villa Petriolo por 6 noches en septiembre de 2024. No habíamos planeado ir al restaurante con estrella Michelin en el lugar, ya que generalmente evitamos los menús degustación y preferimos trattorias y osterías locales más casuales (como la excelente Osteria Golpaja, también en el lugar) , pero estamos muy contentos de haberlo hecho. Pudimos seleccionar platos a la carta de los dos menús degustación - uno vegetariano y otro mixto. Teníamos tres platos cada uno, un aperitivo, plato principal y postre de cada uno de los menús. Las opciones vegetarianas fueron las mejores, quizás no es de extrañar cuando todos los vinos y productos se cultivan en la finca sostenible en la que se encuentra el restaurante. El personal es apasionado por lo que ofrecen, pero sin pretensiones. La comida era divina, y el ambiente y el servicio en este restaurante en la Toscana rural eran iguales a cualquier cosa que hemos experimentado en Michelin - restaurantes con estrellas en todo el mundo. Muy recomendable.
