Our hotel recommended this restaurant and we weren’t disappointed Fresh bread, delicious grilled vegetables and excellent pasta alla Trapanese. We had lunch one day and returned the next for dinner. Will visit on any return trip to Marsala!
12/06/2025: Nos dieron tres sugerencias para el almuerzo por el conserje de nuestro hotel en el centro histórico de Marsala. Elegimos La Marinara y lo deliciosa que fue la elección. El restaurante es de propiedad familiar y se puede sentir ese toque extra. Tenía necesidades específicas para mi comida como vegano y Salvo era muy servicial. Tuvimos una botella de vino blanco, deliciosa pasta al pesto Trapanesi con almendras y tomates. Al final nos ofrecieron una copa de vino Marsala que era excelente. Los propietarios eran tan agradables y la experiencia tan agradable que volvimos a la noche siguiente para la cena. De nuevo, Salvo creó un plato especial para mí. Esta vez conocimos a la madre y al padre. Excelente comida, gran servicio y ubicación. ¡Regresaremos en un viaje futuro!

24/06/2025: We had a good experience at the place we entered by chance for dinner.
The restaurant owner Massimo was especially attentive. In addition to a distinguished pizza menu, local Sicilian cuisine and the Marsala and biscotti duo served on top of the meal went very well.
The wine glasses were satisfactory and the portions were quite filling,
13/06/2025: Four of us ate here, and we highly recommend it. Excellent service, the waiters were very friendly and attentive. The food was very, very good and the price was perfectly reasonable.
We immediately reserved a table for the next day and would love to come back.

21/06/2025: We had not booked because we arrived in the area in the evening (reservation is therefore recommended). Improvised service: few staff and not competent. The food is good, but the wait of over an hour and a quarter for three first courses made the poetry go down. We were then asked if we wanted an amaro at the time of paying as a "taste" and instead of three they gave me two. At sunset there is a beautiful view of the coast and the sea but unfortunately the tables outside were not set. The saying goes to have bread but not teeth. Too bad!
19/06/2025: One of the best spaghetti carbonara I've ever eaten. The price to quality ratio is amazing. I highly recommend it 😊

24/05/2025: On the occasion of the Bersaglieri National Gathering, we went from Pordenone to Marsala. We enjoyed the hospitality, the food, the wine that we received at Bottega del Carmine! Not only food, wine and service but also a lot of availability! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
23/05/2025: Hermoso jardín, excelente vino, platos maravillosos, servicio atento. No había un principal vegetariano, pero el primero y el segundo eran maravillosos, y más que llenos. Y el postre... tan bueno.

15/06/2025: Nice place with excellent food, we ate the hot appetizer with panelle and chips, delicious, a pizza with aubergines and a margherita, exquisite, 10 out of 10, and then to finish they offered us a sublime herbal liqueur, excellent price 30 euros, hot appetizer, 2 pizzas and beer
05/06/2025: Restaurant for locals. As tourists we did not feel welcome. Large uninviting space. We did eat delicious grilled fresh fish but the grilled vegetables were literally burnt.
Definitely not worth repeating.

Pranzo davvero ottimo., abbiamo scelto antipasti e pasta (busiate) a base di pesce.Location/Ristorante in ottima posizione per godersi una cena con tramonto sulle saline.Prezzo qualita' in sintonia
Ritorneremo con piacere.

08/09/2024: Il paradiso esiste. Se volete godere di una vacanza in un'oasi di pace e serenità questo è il posto giusto. Ovunque volgi il tuo sguardo ti accoglie il bello. Tutto è curato nei minimi dettagli con tanto amore. accurattezza nella pulizia delle camere, delle parti comuni ,dell'incantevole piscina che sembra una bomboniera. Ma la cosa meravigliosa è l'accoglienza, principalmente da parte di Sara Manzo, ragazza dolcissima e affettuosa che ti coccola dal momento dell'arrivo fino ai saluti alla partenza, sempre pronta e disponibile a soddisfare ogni richiesta e a fornirti qualunque tipo di informazioni. E dulcis in fundo il cibo, preparato dalle sapienti mani dello chef Carlo Manzo, che ci ha deliziato per tutta la durata del soggiorno con pietanze a base di carne e di pesce di eccelsa qualità. Assegniamo dieci stelle e anche piu.Dagli antipasti ai dolci, ma non tralasciando le variegate colazioni. Una famiglia meravigliosa che ti fa sentire a casa, a cui si affianca uno staff di cucina e di sala di altissimo livello. In particolare vogliamo ringraziare Valentino e Giusy ma tutti gli altri non sono stati da meno.Grazie per avere reso indimenticabile la nostra vacanza.Antonio e Daniela Delpopolo
