The room perfectly matches the location—not overly luxurious, but everything is there and impeccably maintained.
The location? The location is truly breathtaking.
For lovers of fine wines, refined breakfasts, culinary dinners, and a pool with a view: this is a place to return to. I can't wait to go back.

30/10/2025: Staff: Staff were lovely and very attentive.
Room: Spacious, comfortable, nice amenities. There was a bottle of wine on arrival which was a nice touch.
Restaurant: Breakfast was great, lots of choice and it's all high quality. The wasps swarming the breakfast area was the only negative but that can't really be helped. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening, just to try it out. I had the worst steak I've ever had here, truly terrible. Prices are insanely high too
Bar: We avoided the bar entirely due to the ridiculous prices. We went to the wine tasting one evening because we thought it would be something special to do in the hotel, it cost €50 per person which is crazy given the cost in other local wineries.
Location: you will need a car to get everywhere, it's very remote.
All in all, I was happy enough with the hotel as a place to sleep and have breakfast. I wouldn't return because it's very limiting being so remote, especially when the hotel is charging 3-4x the prices of anywhere else for food/drinks.

I ate divinely: the dishes are refined and meticulously crafted, yet never lose sight of the essence; they managed to combine creativity with extremely satisfying flavor. Special praise goes to the owner, Salvatore, who demonstrated rare kindness and professionalism, making us feel welcomed and thoroughly recommended. I'll definitely be back!

29/01/2026: What a wonderful discovery. A lovely restaurant run by genuinely warm, welcoming owners. It’s a family business, and you really feel it from the moment you arrive. Great atmosphere, great energy, and most importantly, excellent food.
Everything we had was fresh and perfectly prepared. We spent a week in the area, and this was easily our best dining experience. No hype, no unnecessary talk, just very good, fresh fish and food done right.
We wish them all the best and hope many others discover this place too.

We had lunch on December 31st and were very satisfied. The appetizer was sea bream, Pantelleria salad, and gluten-free spaghetti with clams, which I really appreciated for their deliciousness and the availability of them, given that I'm gluten intolerant.
Attentive and courteous service. The view of the Egadi Islands was wonderful!
Recommended!
27/12/2025: Traditional Sicilian dishes, from appetizers to desserts, are home-made. The service is friendly and welcoming. It's a truly wonderful place to be and the food is delicious.

25/01/2026: Last night we dined at Bottega del Carmine and it was a treat for the palate and the soul. The dishes were expertly prepared and the staff was knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The final surprise was the bill, which offered excellent value for money.
19/01/2026: Beautiful evening! We felt pampered, the chef was able to convey all his professionalism and immediately put us at ease, offering advice on our choice of dishes! The octopus melted in our mouths...and that's not at all a given. The starters were delicious, as were the desserts!
Congratulations...I absolutely recommend!
The service was also very discreet but attentive, fantastic!

01/02/2026: Alas, I went there for a baptism and I would say it is absolutely inappropriate and unsuitable, hypocritical to bring as plates things that have been frozen for a lifetime. The pizza is even decent, but the atmosphere is truly too oppressive and closed, certainly not suitable for important celebrations.

Poor service in every way. Ordered 2 pizzas and a hot mixed pizza.
- The Diavola Pizza, which was supposed to contain (spicy salami, mozzarella, mushrooms, and black olives), arrived as a Margherita. - The Parma Pizza only came with arugula and mushrooms on top, which the menu supposedly contained (mozzarella, prosciutto, and parmesan).
- The hot mixed pizza on the menu was a 1-portion pizza with: chips, panelle, croquettes, battered vegetables, Ascoli olives, and mozzarella balls. ** A small tray of chips arrived with exactly 2 potato croquettes and that was it.
Ordered at 8:08 PM - the app gave me a preparation and delivery time of around 24-28 minutes, but obviously the time extended to 9:25 PM.
Once it arrived...surprise! I found what I found. I called the restaurant, and the gentleman, very upset about the call, told me he'd come pick up everything within 10 minutes and refund me. It's been over an hour since I'm writing this review. Not so much about the money, but rather about the complete rip-off.
08/09/2025: The bill was overcharged, not in line with the menu prices! I paid without any fuss, and thank you, never again! My compliments! The only customer of the evening, perhaps he wanted to get even with me!

19/06/2025: C'eravamo stati diverse volte 4 anni fa. Location magica: un baglio fra ulivi e viti, un po' defilato rispetto alla città. Tranquillo. E si mangia veramente molto molto bene! Anche l' accoglienza fa la sua parte. Da provare assolutamente!

Le Lumie Ristorante

06/12/2024: È stata un’esperienza favolosa.
Partendo dal lato estetico il ristorante si trova un pò in altezza rispetto al livello del mare e ciò permette di godere di una vista mozzafiato sulle isole Egadi e di un tramonto ineguagliabile.
La cucina è siciliana ma non banale: la ricerca del “qualcosa in più” in ogni piatto fa capire l’impegno e la ricerca che c’è dietro da parte dello chef. Le materie prime sono a “metro zero”: infatti il locale custodisce ben preziosamente un orto curato da Salvatore (una visita è quasi d’obbligo!). Il personale è competente e a disposizione della clientela per ogni necessità.
Unica nota negativa: essere andati via!
