23/01/2025: My family and I (tourists from the USA) showed up to this restaurant without a reservation in middle of the day when most other restaurants were closed. No tables were immediately available; however, the staff fabricated a new table just so we could eat.
The food was amazing. Our waiter was very insightful when it came to the food, telling us it origin, etc.
Honestly, this was the best meal of our entire trip (Naples / All of Sicily).

09/01/2025: This was one of the surprises of our trip through Sicily. The pasta was truly excellent. They also have gluten-free options for those of us whom avoid wheat. The specialty veal, Buca del Lupo is great. the Cozze e Vongole is VERY good.

La mia famiglia ed io siamo rimasti così soddisfatti che ci siamo ritornati per 2 giorni consecutivi.
Locale caldo e accogliente.
Il servizio è stato gentile e professionale.
Le pappardelle, specialità con i broccoletti, meritano una speciale menzione. Pizza superlativa, leggera gustosa, digeribile, cottura perfetta, sottile senza essere molle e inconsistente. Tornerei volentieri a Piazza Armerina anche solo per andare al Ristorante da Totò.

22/10/2024: We went because the reviews were quite good. The food is OK, but nothing more than basic home cooking. We paid €10 for vegetables and we got a plate of watery and overcooked cavalo nero. Unless you are too tired to walk further into town I would skip this restaurant
28/09/2024: Best restaurant in the area with a great welcome, don't hesitate to take a detour before visiting the Roman villa which is 4 km away. Good and inexpensive, everything is homemade 🤗

13/10/2024: Everything about this small terrace restaurant is fantastic! It is located in the old town, the table service is fantastic being provided by the owner her self ( very polite and professional and also very friendly and chatty) but the food is hard to describe how delicious it is! The sea food pasta and the carbonara pasta is just perfect! The grilled pork and salciccia perfectly cooked! I don't wanna start with the caponata! Fresh veggies freshly cooked! Mumm is the best chef in town! It's a family business! And they do it well!

19/01/2025: I had ordered 500g of sliced veal, and they brought me three, 500g each. Even though I said I hadn't actually ordered the food, the staff rudely replied that the meat had already been cooked and that I would have to pay for it. Not to mention hygiene, totally absent. I found hair everywhere, even an insect inside the vinegar.

01/01/2025: Comodissimo prima (o dopo) la visita ai mosaici della villa romana del Casale. Il pregio maggiore è la celerità (e cortesia) del servizio. La cucina non eccellente, almeno a dicembre, quando il menu è in formato super-ridotto.
Esperienza comunque positiva.

03/08/2024: La villa è molto suggestiva , anche se non curata come dovrebbe essere una vera location ,intrattenimento invitati con divani quasi tutti sfondati impossibile sedersi ,andiamo al buffet antipasti impossibile mangiare file interminabili anche x una fetta di salame , quando finisce la fila praticamente non c’era più nulla , a tavola niente di che secondo immangiabile , i primi tutto sommato potevano andare , dolci con le solite file interminabili anche x un cannolo ,menomale che ho mangiato una graffe è stata l’unica cosa buona .. a mio parere locale con molto belle solo estetica ma nemmeno quella
24/07/2024: Siamo stati con la mia famiglia per un matrimonio ma siamo stati così bene che abbiamo deciso di prolungare il nostro soggiorno per altri tre giorni. Posto splendido, servizi ottimi e personale super professionale. Super consigliato.
