04/05/2025: This Sunday I called to book a table at 2pm, he told me it was possible, so I took the car and after half an hour I arrived in front of this place which was totally CLOSED! I thank those who made the reservation for their seriousness, and I recommend the bar on the corner, an excellent diner!
27/04/2025: Yesterday I had the pleasure of celebrating my thirtieth birthday in this pizzeria and with great joy I am here to write to you that it was a beautiful evening! In addition to a friendly staff attentive to our every need, we ate delicious typical appetizers and excellent pizzas! To my great surprise, a very nice table was prepared for cutting the cake with everything needed for the toast and some dark brown heads to frame everything! Highly recommended place for professionalism, tradition and hospitality.
Thank you for this wonderful evening!
NB: place very attentive to food waste as we were asked if we wanted to take home the remaining dishes in order not to waste anything prepared. Big point in favor of the place. Well done!

25/05/2025: We had a very good dinner here in the evening. My pizza and my wife's pasta were excellent. The restaurant is housed in an old oil mill and wine press and is very beautiful.

Papaveri & Papere: a true oasis after a three-hour drive! As soon as I arrived, the first thing I checked was the bathroom — and right there I understood everything: clean, well-kept, hygienic. A perfect calling card for a place that knows how to welcome. Then I had an ice cream… spectacular! Kind and knowledgeable staff. Absolutely worth a try!

29/04/2025: While passing through the area we decided to have dinner in this restaurant which is poorly indicated on the catering reference sites (wrong GPS indication), but is located in the middle of a residential area which blends in with the various private homes. Nice environment but little connected with the surrounding environment (I remember that we are on the slopes of Etna) We ordered two simple appetizers, very generous. Having seen the dishes, I would have appreciated the owner's suggestion to avoid taking two starters given the abundance. Particular note for the pizzas, maybe because I'm used to other types of dough but in the end we didn't like it or at least we noticed the difference. Lightly leavened dough, more biscuity and sweet. The final result, however, is a pizza more similar to a painting due to the care taken in arranging the ingredients on the pizza. Apart from the description of the "Cratere" pizza (I don't remember the name) to be clear, the one with the burrata in the center and pistachio cream as if it were raining. In reality it has a soul of potatoes...many potatoes, too many potatoes, which are cleverly used to support and hold the mixture that forms the crater. This too was toasted, with almost no speck. Honestly, I wouldn't take it again, it has a too flat taste, nothing stands out, everything is dominated by the pistachio and the burrata (lacking the speck and having removed all the potatoes) which is mixed in at the end. Good and friendly service but in reality the place was empty so I can't say anything else.
27/04/2025: Opening times and days on Google not updated. When we got there it was closed, even though it was open on Google. It's really unpleasant to waste the time of a potential customer who will no longer be a potential customer... too bad

14/03/2025: O Preso due pizze da asporto una margherita,e una con la zucca è un tris di patate che erano poco cotteTotale 32 euro buttati al vento neanche la brutta figura che ho fatto a casa.O chiamato e mi ha detto che le patatine non era colpa sua,ma del sito che non ha aggiornato la pagina.Ma quando è arrivato il fattorino mi ha fatto pagare sempre 11 euro per una vaschetta di patatine grande.Non andate, buttate solo Vergogna....
07/12/2024: Dopo diversi anni di assenza ho cenato con mia moglie in questa pizzeria . Abbiamo consumato una pizza e un panino. Cosa dire....
Dico che siamo lontani da quella pizza provata in passato. Inoltre per quanto riguarda il panino il giudizio è insoddisfacente. Infatti se tale panino ha un certo costo ti aspetti di mangiare ciò che hai pagato. A onor di cronaca devo far presente che il personale di servizio addetto alla sala e il cassiere sono stati molto cortesi e questo va riconosciuto.

21/04/2025: Siamo stati in famiglia , abbiamo ordinato due pizze e due menù panini. Ottimi i panini, davvero buoni con ingredienti di qualità. Un po' meno le patate al forno che facevano da contorno. Troppo asciutte da migliorare. La pizza sottile , niente di particolare ma non la riprenderei . Prezzi nella media, servizio ottimo .
01/04/2025: Ristorante dv nn c ero mai andato posto carino ,buona scelta nel menù .servizio nella media molto celeri e il conto nella norma devo dire che ne vale la pena provare

De belles quantités, nous n’avons pas fini les pâtes . Belle décoration.
02/11/2024: Ho provato a prenotare in questo posto e la signora alla mia domanda se facessero il doppio turno è stata maleducata e indisponente, senza motivo a mio parere vista la domanda lecita. Non proverò a prenotare altre volte, e vista la poca pazienza non lo consiglio.
