09/02/2025: Locale carino , purtroppo non ho trovato nessuna attenzione per le persone che hanno allergie alimentari , l’antipasto condiviso non mi ha dato la possibilità di assaggiare nulla perché il cuoco non aveva certezza degli ingredienti . Servizio appena sufficiente . Pulizia discreta . Non lo consiglio a chi ha intolleranze alimentari e non è per celiaci.

02/05/2025: All fine if it weren't for (6 diners):
- the first thing asked upon arrival was to be able to guarantee a slice of the house strudel at the end of lunch. Answer: "no problem, you don't need to put it aside, don't worry!". Final outcome: no strudel because it's finished!
- our intention was to eat a "nice banino and a beer" sitting outdoors on a midweek holiday.
- 6 sandwiches with sausage and grilled vegetables; 1 second course (3 meatballs); 6 industrial (non-craft) beers; 6 desserts (as a last resort, waiting for the strudel to be finished) and 6 coffees, for the modest sum of... 200.00 EURO round, round (say TWO HUNDRED/00)!!!
- once we read the receipt (not fiscal), we were all incredulous and, at first, we thought it was a joke, given the cordial relationship we had had up to that point with the staff. Our first comment was that, if we had known beforehand, we would certainly have opted to go and eat fish in any restaurant on the Catania seafront, sitting at the table, waited on hand and foot. At that point, all we had to do was ask the owner and/or manager for clarification:
- after some hesitation on the part of the lady with whom we interfaced (who attributed the mix-up to the "messy" drafting of the so-called order written by the waitress), the bill was reduced by a good 50.00 euros (FIFTY/00), reaching the total of 150.00 euros (ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY/00), still high for what was eaten "outdoors" without any comfort.
- the question arises spontaneously: "what if we hadn't noticed?! What if we had been foreigners?! Is it correct to increase a bill in this way?!"
- I leave all considerations on the matter to you readers.

12/09/2024: A wonderful evening. I am used to calibrating my expectations according to the place where I am and I must say that the level of the dishes offered is excellent.
Everything is prepared with love, obsessively. The gourmet menus are a culinary experience, it is not a simple dinner, but much more.
The carob tagliatelle and the roast rabbit really impressed me. The proposed wine, a home-produced rosé, a Neri Etna Rosato, from Nerello Mascalese with light hints of red fruits, pleasant acidity, accompanied the evening well.
The service however, I am very sorry to say, was not always at the level of the dishes offered, nothing dramatic would be missing, but some things must be said.
In my opinion there are three discordant notes; the gourmet menu includes the classic mini welcome aperitif, it would be absolutely welcome and thoughtful to also serve a very simple prosecco with this course. If you don't want to do it, you're welcome, don't leave me with the plate under my nose for 10 minutes waiting for the wine I ordered, it's not pleasant.
The exquisite small pastry served at the end should also be accompanied by liqueur, a bitter, a coffee... even here, if you don't want to offer it, at least come and ask if I would like it.
Of an experience, people always remember how it began and how it ended, the central parts fade into memory.
Having said this, I would recommend it and will certainly return.

11/08/2024: Una serata da sogno, più che una cena è un’esperienza sensoriale immersi nel silenzio e abbracciati dallo splendido scenario del territorio dell’Etna. Personale impeccabile e grande attenzione a non far mancare nulla alle mie figlie di 5 e 8 anni. Tantissimi assaggi offerti dallo chef, vere e proprie coccole. Consigliatissimo

01/12/2024: Location situata alle pendici dell’Etna, contesto paesaggistico eccezionale, personale gentile e cordiale . La Degustazione ha superato le nostre aspettative lasciandoci un ricordo di una bellissima giornata trascorsa all’insegna dei vini .
