07/06/2025: Arrivati per caso in questa trattoria perché eravamo di strada e affamati. Ci accoglie il proprietario chiedendo se sappiamo come funziona questo locale. Alla nostra risposta negativa ci è stato spiegato tutto ma la sorpresa è stata quando è cominciata ad arrivare una quantità industriale di antipasti. Tutto pesce,cotto,crudo,fritto...una meraviglia! Terminati gli antipasti non siamo stati in grado di mangiare altro. Abbiamo concluso con un buon sorbetto al mandarino. Qualità ottima e gentilezza da apprezzare. Grazie!

09/07/2025: On the occasion of a very special occasion, we decided to visit a very well-known and renowned restaurant in our city for dinner. It's located in the historic center, right on a street that connects Piazza Lionardo Vigo, adjacent to the church dedicated to the co-patron saint, San Sebastiano, to the Piazza del Duomo, overlooked by the Acireale Town Hall and the Cathedral. Because it's summer, the pizzeria moves all its seating outside, in a small green villa overlooking the square. We were greeted by a very young, yet expert, competent, and above all friendly staff. After a reasonable wait, we received a portion of classic, simple French fries and then two pizzas: a "Norma" and a "Profumata." We enjoyed all three courses because they were prepared in a reasonable amount of time, with impeccable ingredients and cooking, which truly satisfied our taste buds. Despite the very common products, tradition and quality, as always, outweigh innovation and originality when not combined. The restaurant is fully equipped, even inside, and the menu offers a wide selection of dishes, divided by category, as well as traditional desserts from our local cuisine. The bill was also absolutely reasonable for what we ordered and the service we received from all the staff, even when making our reservation. The quiet and simple yet formal atmosphere, along with the excellent dinner offered, made this moment of remembrance an occasion we will never forget. We noticed this in our situation and also observed it at the tables adjacent to ours, which were seated by a very diverse group of people. Everything listed above is simply the result of particular attention to management, organization, and expertise in the sector in various aspects, such as supervision, collaboration with other staff members, dedication, and listening to the customer; in this way, they manage to feel appreciated. 25/08/2025: Good food, and a well-kept venue. The only flaw is the very slow table service. We booked half an hour after sitting at the table, despite calling the waiters several times. Otherwise, an excellent place, immersed in the baroque style of ancient Aci.

18/08/2025: We booked a table for two on Sunday. The table was on a slightly sloped spot. I had read some reviews but thought they were being too generous in their ratings (let me start by saying that everyone has their own personal tastes and ideas). My personal opinions and tastes matched those of many others... We had a PIZZOLO SICULO, WHICH WAS WONDERFUL, the dough was soft even on the edges, we barely finished it. Next, we had 2 spaghetti with anchovies and breadcrumbs. These were also cooked excellently. The portions were truly generous, so much so that the pizzolo alone was enough. The service was regular, from the order to the pizzolo. Then, after we finished eating the spaghetti, it was left on the table too long, and when it was taken away, we weren't asked if we wanted anything else, like a bitter to help digest it all. We had to call someone later to order it. You might ask: why didn't you ask them at the time? Because we thought the person clearing the table was there just for that, while his other colleagues were there to take orders. The bill was in line with the food. Would I return? YES
