19/04/2025: Comfortable pitch with a view of Mount Etna and a fantastic weekend menu We spent several nights here as we had to wait for a spare part for our Sprinter. The pitch is an excellent starting point for exploring this part of Sicily - especially for tours around the impressive Etna. As can be seen in the photos, this occasionally appears to be a fiery, smoky fellow. The immediate surroundings are rather unspectacular, and the town is not necessarily a must-see. The situation is a bit difficult for dog owners who want to do longer laps - there are almost only busy streets. An absolute highlight, however, is the weekend menu in the agriturismo's restaurant. For 30 euros per person we enjoyed a real feast: including a bottle of red wine (for two), water, dessert and coffee. Everything was delicious - but with the best will in the world it was impossible to make it. Luckily, the excellent old-school waiter kindly offered us containers for the leftovers so that we could eat them the next day. The sanitary facilities were impeccable and very clean, supply and disposal were easy to use. An all-round pleasant stay
