04/12/2023: Had the special meatball pizza when we were here about two months ago. One of the top 5 pizzas I have ever eaten and I have eaten a lot of pizza! Must try!

06/04/2024: For us it was the best pizzeria in town. You receive a very friendly welcome and our pizzas were also very good. There was nothing to complain about!

29/02/2024: Very very (very) good pizzas, we really enjoyed our first Sardinian pizzas. A super thin and crispy dough. Quality ingredients (focacia pizzas with fish carpaccio = killer, and the other tomato-anchovy-buttarga), perfect size, very reasonable price for the quality, we really weren't disappointed! We dreamed of pizza the whole week that followed, with the aim of going there a second time, which couldn't happen, I still regret it...

17/10/2023: Never visited such a bad restaurant! The waitresses treated us like air and we couldn't even get a seat outside, even though everything was free! I am very disappointed. Food wasn't good either and the fish was like the sole of a shoe 😕

14/10/2023: Beautiful and charming place. There are cats that also give it a special touch. Good food (pizzas, sausages,...) and good price (€22 per person) (except tomato, it's chamber-made and doesn't taste like anything)

14/05/2024: Agree with other reviews that Cala Gonone isn't the best for dining out, but thankfully La Poltrona exists - we went three times within a week because it was so dependable! The pastas (huge portions) and the pizzas are very good. Kind and entertaining staff.

09/05/2024: Nice ristorante with enough parking space. Super nice service staff. We went with our choice Pizza Sarda with Salsiccia, Mozzarella. The ravioli dorgalesi filled with mild cheese in tomato sauce and pieces of beef and the dessert Seada filled with cream cheese with Sardinian honey were absolutely happy. The Mirto Rosso at the end is a dream. Everything tasted so incredibly good. You can refuse the bread basket and table service at the beginning otherwise you will be charged €5. Unfortunately we didn't know that and therefore it won't be 5 stars. Knowing this, we would be happy to come back and can recommend Ristorante Pizzeria La Poltrona.

27/01/2024: The food is quite good, but the prices are exaggerated, also considering the winter season. 2 steaks + 2 salads + 2 water + a land appetizer divided into two: 85.00 euros. I'm sorry, but we won't be returning.

08/04/2024: The most lovely place. Located on a hill in the outskirts of the small town of Dorgali, surrounded by woods and with an amazing view on the valley. The owner is super nice and an endless source of interesting information about the area. The rooms are quite basic but large, well lit, and spotless. The restaurant offers a selection of delicious home-style local specialties and pizza. Cannot recommend this place enough.

29/11/2023: The review only refers to the restaurant, which is beautifully located on a mountain peak. The arduous climb is definitely rewarded with a spectacular view! When we arrived the tables were still being set, but we were still warmly welcomed and allowed to choose a table. For wine I had the sparkling Dorgalese rosé, my companion drank water. The starter platter with a selection of sausages and green olives was tasty, the various pasta dishes were well prepared, although the tomato sauce on the ravioli overpowered the taste of the cheese filling too much. The suckling pig (although we were only able to order it if we ordered it in advance) was incredibly good. Unfortunately, one dish (steak and fried potato slices) was completely forgotten and arrived late. The mixed fried fish plate that we had originally ordered was also forgotten, but that turned out to be an advantage because we were quickly full. The other forgotten dish was fine, although the steak really seems to be designed for ravenous guests as it is huge! Unfortunately, the fried potatoes that came with it were a bit thinly sliced ​​and greasy. Unfortunately, after the main course, the waiter didn't come to our table and the wine glass remained empty for a long time. A pity! The restaurant is well maintained (including the sanitary facilities, there is even a baby changing area), and the staff was very friendly. The older waiter even spoke some German. Unfortunately, something was missing for 5 stars, especially the attention that we received at the beginning of the visit could have been maintained. It's a busy place with good food, although we've had better food elsewhere.
