10/11/2025: I had lunch yesterday at Trattoria S. Martino - Le 3 Oche in Gargnano, and the experience was truly excellent. The traditional cuisine featuring lake fish is excellent, with refined dishes and great attention to detail. The service is impeccable: professional, attentive, and friendly.
The location is very elegant, and the lake view makes the lunch even more special. We celebrated our anniversary, and the staff made the occasion even more enjoyable by bringing us candles to celebrate.
A truly enjoyable lunch: highly recommended for those seeking good food, professionalism, and an elegant, welcoming atmosphere.

31/12/2025: Dear friends, please don't let the "basic ambiance" that some might perceive put you off.
They offer fantastic food here. Whether pasta, pizza, salad, or meat, everything was excellent and reasonably priced. The service is courteous and attentive.
We'll definitely be back!
20/12/2025: We were staying at a nearby hotel and looking for a pizza place for dinner. The hotel staff recommended this place, and we immediately headed there. We were so lucky to find such a quiet, authentic establishment!
We ordered two pizzas, fried cheese, and spaghetti. It wasn't crowded, the service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. I hope we'll be able to come back again! It's just a shame I didn't take a photo of the decor.

Food:
We had dinnere at Sostago and were blown away. The menu has classic italian food bit also with some twists to make it interesting and every dish worked out perfectly. Even the frothy butter that goes with the bread was a highlight. Price wise it was also very respectable. It was among the top dinner I had so far.
Location:
It begins with the entry to the Villa Sostago. It is a one way street that follows a narrow road through the mountain side with great views on the lake. At the end the old Soatago villa comes into place. We felt straight out from a James Bond movie. Crazy. Inside it follows the theme.
The Atmosphere is very welcome and the dining area is super cozy with great views. Great knowladgeable staff. The whole evening was a success!!

20/07/2025: Schade, in exponierter Lage unter Olivenbäumen direkt am See speisend erlebten wir einen Service ohne Seele.
Trotz mehrfachen Bittens und Hinweisens darauf, den Abend doch gerne in Ruhe und mit ein wenig Gelassenheit zwischen den Gängen erleben zu dürfen, fertigte das Personal uns mit rasantem Tempo ab.
Die Speisen durchaus von guter Qualität lassen beim Gast - mit dieser Hast serviert - keine genussvolke Glückseligkeit aufkommen
28/06/2025: sono stato con la mia famiglia in questo posto e siamo arrivati con aspettative molto alte una volta arrivati servizio sgradevole e abbiamo aspettato 45 minuti.
cibo arrivato cozze fredde e tovaglioli de pane già sporchi.
pieno di insetti che ti giravano intorno al cibo.

La Baia D'Oro

17/05/2025: Il locale è carino ed accogliente, la posizione e la vista senz'altro meravigliosi. Tutto il resto purtroppo è invece totalmente negativo. Si parte con dei grissini da supermercato ed una piccola monoporzione in alluminio con del burro (duro). Il menù non invoglia, prendiamo uno spaghetto alle vongole e delle capesante. il primo è passabile, seppur servito in un piatto freddo (sapranno che ormai quasi ovunque certe pietanze sono portate in piatti caldi?). Le capesante sono davvero incommentabili, impossibile sentirne il gusto visto che navigavano nel condimento (come si vede dalla foto). La parte che ha dell'incredibile arriva con il vino: due calici di bianco serviti CALDI. Nemmeno nell'ultimo baretto disperso in periferia mi era mai successa una cosa del genere!!! Il tempo di raffreddarsi e la cena era ormai quasi terminata. Ciliegina sulla torta? Alle 21.35 il cameriere si avvicina per comunicare che il locale sta chiudendo...mai più.
