20/10/2025: Staff are friendly and it’s a nice ambiance, but the service is a bit clumsy and the food is not great. For some reason, the dessert was served before the main course, and both drinks were forgotten. The pizza was alright, though the “fritto misto” was not a good dish and we left most of it.

07/10/2025: We visited Marchese del Grillo and were truly thrilled. A trattoria that captures the essence of Roman cuisine: simple, authentic, and irresistibly delicious.
We enjoyed a perfect amatriciana, with an intense and balanced flavor, a creamy and perfectly flavorful gricia, and a sautéed chicory that complemented the meal wonderfully, all prepared with quality ingredients and a care evident in every dish.
The service was impeccable: the staff were kind, welcoming, and professional, always attentive without ever being intrusive. The atmosphere is familiar yet refined, making the experience even more enjoyable.
I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who wants to savor authentic Roman cuisine in a warm and authentic setting. We'll definitely be back!
06/10/2025: By far the most authentic Italian-flavored grill house I’ve encountered during my entire stay in Italy! Even the restaurants in Rome could envy the culinary mastery hidden in these dishes. Incredibly delicious and perfectly balanced flavors — a flawless harmony between ingredients and textures! Not to mention the warm and friendly service. If you’re ever in Ciampino, this is the place you won’t regret visiting. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’d come back anytime!

04/10/2025: We ate lunch for two today. We asked for water and wine and were told verbally, without a menu for either food or wine, "Okay, I'll bring a bottle." And I... yes, okay, but what wine do you have? They listed three and I chose one (without knowing the price)... then the owner came over and asked us if we wanted an appetizer for two and okay without seeing the menu. The appetizer was certainly plentiful, but we didn't know how much it would cost... considering we were on Via Lucrezia Romana and not in Circeo. Average quality: some samples were genuinely disappointing, made with mediocre ingredients (frozen shrimp with cocktail sauce, supermarket salmon, rubbery and tough octopus). The first courses were good, but not worth returning for, especially since the quantity was normal and the price was 18 euros each!!! The appetizers? 25 per person. Wine 15... with desserts... well, in the end, for two, 110 euros with the discount! For which I obviously thank you. Otherwise it would have been 126 euros.

24/03/2025: Locale esteticamente meraviglioso e curato nei minimi dettagli.
Cibo ottimo, dagli antipasti (sfiziosi e ricercati), ai primi per arrivare al secondo (grigliata di carne mista).
Ci tornerò molto volentieri per provare altro.
