04/01/2026: The best restaurant! We were served a welcome wine (sparkling) and fries as an appetizer. We had a platter of three seafood appetizers, seafood spaghetti (today with anchovies? and pine nuts), shrimp risotto, and a Campania white wine. The spaghetti was a little too salty for Kawamaru, but the crunchy pine nuts went perfectly with the tomatoes, and the oil sauce was delicious with bread. The shrimp risotto had plump shrimp and a mild lemon and cheese flavor; I ate it all in no time! The atmosphere inside the restaurant was also great.

27/11/2025: From the way it's presented, I would have expected a little more. Let's start with the outside: it's a small, average-sized restaurant, and when I went, you couldn't even see it because it was hidden by external scaffolding. The food is good, but nothing spectacular you'd expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. The prices are high, despite it being a Michelin-starred establishment.

21/11/2025: Today, thanks to our daughter, who gave us a culinary journey at the President restaurant in Pompeii, we had a wonderful experience. We were welcomed by Mrs. Laila with kindness and grace, who accompanied us throughout the lunch, introducing us to each dish prepared by the chef. Living proof that Chef Paolo Gramaglia's Michelin star isn't a whim, but a guarantee. The cuisine combines impeccable technique and profound local flavors, with dishes that express Campania without ever falling into the predictable. Attentive service, an elegant dining room, and a gastronomic journey that flows like a well-written story. An experience worth the trip—and one that will remain fondly remembered. Thanks to Chef Paolo and his wife for this wonderful experience.

17/01/2026: What a treat! Just outside Pompeii is this small, classic Italian restaurant. Lucius attended to us from the very first moment with the utmost care, then changed his clothes and went into the kitchen to cook. They also have a full gluten-free menu available with the same high quality. I highly recommend it; we left delighted with the food, the service, and the authentic atmosphere.

30/12/2025: The restaurant was a pleasant discovery. The owners are very courteous, kind, and helpful. They were able to accommodate my needs even after I disclosed my vegan diet. The restaurant is very well-maintained, clean, and suitable for any occasion. The dishes I was offered (different each time) far exceeded my expectations; they were excellent. The quality of the ingredients is high. Kudos to the young owners for believing in tradition but also in culinary innovation.

11/01/2026: I came to this beautiful place and my expectations were completely exceeded! Professionals in everything they do. My partner is celiac, and we found the gluten-free cuisine so good it almost rivals the deliciousness of the gluten-free cuisine. I highly recommend coming and trying Alleria's cuisine.

09/01/2026: Lunch today, the only table occupied. Nice place, very friendly waiter. The fish and chips and gnocchi were good, but the octopus salad didn't smell good and tasted unpleasant: the entire plate was returned to the waiter. It's okay, it happens, but it's not fair that the apology didn't arrive until the receipt was issued. The kitchen immediately verified that it was indeed the wrong dish, but neither the owner nor the chef approached the table even to offer an alternative (even though we were the only ones in the entire place), nor even the "good gesture" of offering a liqueur at the end while we were still seated... A small detail, but it's the details that make the difference for the customer (unless you want to target the hit-and-run tourist)!

18/01/2026: A beautiful, fantastic hotel! Very friendly staff! Breakfast on the 4th floor was served by incredibly attentive and friendly staff who resolved any issue within 3 minutes! The staff in the breakfast room and at reception were especially outstanding!!! Thank you for the wonderful holiday!

16/01/2026: We decided to stay at this hotel for 4 days because of the location and because it was our first time in Pompeii, but unfortunately the room service and cleaning, I have to say, our sheets seemed to have only been changed once, otherwise there were still crumbs on the bed, which gave the impression that it wasn't clean. 2. Then there was the fact, either due to a lack of communication or a lack of understanding, we had to leave early, where we were told that we could have breakfast earlier at 5:30, but unfortunately that was the time the lady who opened the restaurant arrived. In other words, we left without having breakfast, where they could have at least given us a morning snack, and they didn't even do that. 3rd Point: I went to speak to someone in charge because of the noise the school staff were making in the early hours of the morning: the reception's response was: "the hotel is full!" But I think one thing had nothing to do with the other, anyway... And even when we checked out, they didn't bother to inform us about the tourist tax, how much we were going to pay at check-in, the service from that gentleman was very negative. The only cheerful and helpful guy was a young man at reception. Thank you
