16/06/2026: We had a phantastic dinner, the staff is lovely and very good service. Had a nice chat with the friendly chef as well, i definitely recommend this place when you are in Pompeji. The only sad thing is, it was our last evening so we couldn't come back to try more of the delicious food. Thank you for such a nice evening!

21/05/2026: I'm not familiar with the other restaurants in Pompeii, but this one completely satisfied us. Excellent dishes showcased the ingredients. We arrived without a reservation, but luckily we managed to get a table, as the restaurant filled up quickly with everyone who had booked. We ordered a trio of seafood appetizers, each more delicious than the last, followed by spaghetti with clams and pasta alla Garum, and to finish, a rum baba with ricotta. Everything, as mentioned, was superb!

19/05/2026: Be careful eating there. Went in with a large group. Ordered 1 pizza - 14€, 2 waters - 3€ each and 2 cokes 4E each- and was charged 45€. The pizza was good but not 45€ good. He charged 6€ for splitting pizza and 6€ for service charge and 5€ for nothing. They ripped us off.

17/05/2026: After walking through the ruins of Pompeii this is the best place to relax with a good cocktail and a great atmosphere. Our waiter Roberto, is the person who made our stay exceptional. I highly recommend this place, especially if you are served by Roberto. Amareto sour is the best cocktail I have ever had.

09/05/2026: An unforgettable lunch at the President Restaurant. The food, needless to say, was fantastic: every course had something special while remaining true to tradition, incredible flavors, and truly impeccable service. The restaurant itself is also beautiful. We arrived late due to a taxi strike, but they waited for us without a problem and, in the end, even took care of finding us a ride home. Fantastic people, truly. But beyond the excellent quality, what struck us most was how they managed to make both my grandmother and I feel at home, almost like family—and that wasn't at all a given, considering this was an experience so far removed from our everyday lives. Our deepest congratulations and warmest regards, hoping to see you again soon.

In places where dedication, passion, and craft of fine cuisine are not affected by a dense population, heavy tourist traffic, and an infinite number of compromises. So, no surprise that the finest take on Neapolitan cuisine is waiting for you in Pompei. The "President" restaurant (or should I say its charming couple of owners) offers you exquisite service, respectable hospitality, and a thoughtful tasting menu. It combines the chef's mastery, curiosity, and erudition into a highly cohesive adventure through classic and modern, domestic and foreign, traditional and progressive. The noteworthy work with aromas and aftertastes is continued by a versatile and nuanced (both non-alcoholic and vine) pairing. This detour, made specifically for that place, is not only extremely justified by delicious food and care of hosts, but easily could overshadow the epic historical landmark placed within walking distance from this restaurant.

14/07/2026: A beautiful restaurant with attention to detail. I dined there on Sunday, July 12, with my wife and two friends. The tasting menus were very enjoyable, with balanced dishes clearly reflecting the chef's careful attention to detail. I'm very satisfied with the experience. (The only thing I could improve on is reducing the time between courses.)

26/06/2026: A magnificent experience at this restaurant. The attention to detail is incredible, starting with the meticulous presentation of each dish. I was particularly impressed by the oysters served on a bed of fresh rosemary, a creative touch I greatly appreciated. Everything was meticulously crafted, from the choice of cutlery to the elegant arrangement of the dishes. I will definitely return to discover other creations.

08/08/2026: If you're looking for a restaurant in Pompeii, look no further than Gambero Rosso. It's a family-run establishment where you'll enjoy delicious, generous, and traditional dishes. Everyone there is friendly and professional, and the restaurant is spotless. What's more, the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the consistently high quality throughout the meal. We ate there one evening on a whim, and we came back the next day because we enjoyed it so much! So, if there's one restaurant we can recommend after a few days in Pompeii, it's this one. We hope to return next year; we're already feeling nostalgic. A big thank you to the entire team for the wonderful evenings at Gambero Rosso!

15/06/2026: It was a remarkable experience. I was initially a bit skeptical about the mixed seafood pasta, but as they say, never judge a book by its cover. I really appreciated the owner's approach to the two-person table next to us, which also hosted a celiac. These days, it's difficult to find restaurants and pizzerias that offer gluten-free options, but this place met all of her needs, as well as ours, with flying colors. I will definitely return when I visit Pompeii again.

14/08/2026: I had dinner this evening at this restaurant, which has both indoor and outdoor seating. We ate vegan. I should point out that there are no vegan options on the menu, only a few vegetarian options. However, if you let me know in advance (I did 24 hours in advance), the chef is able to offer very tasty and delicious seasonal alternatives (not grilled vegetables). We ate: - Welcome crostini with yellow cherry tomatoes; - Cicerale chickpea balls (similar to falafel) with fried zucchini and vegan mayonnaise (all homemade); - Jerusalem artichoke cream with potato cubes; - Ancient grain gnocchi with friggitelli peppers and cherry tomatoes; - Homemade bread; - Orzotto with zucchini cream and marinated zucchini; - a slice of homemade bread with margarine, sugar, and sprinkled with figs and cinnamon (an improvised dessert made on the spot, truly delicious as well as spectacular). The guys who run the place are truly kind and knowledgeable, friendly, and hospitable. The price is absolutely right: excellent ingredients and excellent culinary expertise. I highly recommend stopping by (let them know in advance, if you're vegan, as there aren't many vegans in those parts 😅). Availability varies depending on the season and the chef's current availability, as well as the clientele. Not very close to the city center, but it's worth it!

19/07/2026: A place that feels like home. I'd like to immediately say a few words about the staff at this restaurant. They were truly friendly, thoughtful, attentive, and kind, but never intrusive. I think this is one of the aspects that deserves to be emphasized, as it makes or breaks a place memorable. The cuisine features simple, traditional flavors that satisfy the palate once the dish is finished, which will surely return to the kitchen empty. We were impressed with both the meat and seafood dishes. The location is strategic if you're visiting the Sanctuary. Recommended!

19/08/2026: Alleria is a great find in the heart of Pompei. Food was delicious and service was great. The waitress even made sure to ask about allergies. We had gnocchi in a pizza bowl, ravioli and pasta with potatoes. Everything was great. And this restaurant is walking distance to the Pompei Ruins.

03/05/2026: Very cozy atmosphere in the conservatory, super friendly host and delicious food! Spaghetti Nerrano is highly recommended!
