15/07/2025: We got married on June 27th at Poggio Ruppelt and we want to express our sincere gratitude to all the staff who contributed impeccably to the most beautiful day of our lives! We, along with our guests, were literally "pampered" from the moment we entered the venue to the end of the ceremony. Professionalism, kindness, and the excellent quality of the ingredients used in every course, accompanied by meticulously executed presentation, are the primary characteristics that distinguish Poggio Ruppelt from all the rest. What can I say... every detail was taken care of with attention, skill, and love by my Silvia, who holds a special place in my heart. Infinite thanks to maître d' Pasquale, who with expertise, professionalism, and care made the guests feel at ease. Hoping to see you again soon, we wish you all the best. 13/07/2025: An enchanting villa where we fulfilled our dream of love! The kindness of the staff and their attention to detail, managed by Pasquale and Silvia, made the day perfect. The quality of the food was superb, the view breathtaking, that mix of greenery and sea that made everything magical. Il Poggio is a guarantee, and if I were to get married again, I would always choose it!

15/07/2025: Sono stato più volte a cenare in questo magnifico posto,e devo dire che e sempre una bella sorpresa ritornare,cibo ottimo, dagli antipasti ai primi di ottima qualità,anche se il punto forte e Sicuramente la Carne!alla fine di tutto decidiamo di consumare gli assaggini di dolci squisiti,la vera chicca e stata alla fine di tutto,portandoci un piccolo tiramisù senza che noi sapessimo nulla,con la scritta nel piatto di buon Anniversario cosa che abbiamo gradito molto. Abraxas una garanzia!

13/07/2025: Posto eccezionale per la posizione, peccato per tutto il resto, lasciate ogni speranza voi che entrate. Personale scortese, a tratti scocciato. Sembra che ti stiano facendo un favore. Porzioni piccole, niente di eccezionale, volevamo mangiare pesce ma le proposte all’80% erano tutte carni. Prezzi oltre la media. Abbiamo pagato 90€ a testa per un antipasto abraxas diviso in due e un pezzo di carne piena di sale, cottura media arrivata con il sangue che scorreva nel piatto. Assurdo! Il cameriere replica dicendo che la carne più è cotta, più perde sangue! Mai sentito in vita mia in nessun posto dove ho mai cenato. A fine serata ci spostiamo nell’area bar per godere del panorama. Al ritorno il tavolo era stato sparecchiato e la mia borsa non c’era più. Dopo aver chiesto a tutto il personale senza avere una risposta certa, dopo una mezz’oretta mi riportano la borsa che era stata lasciata in cassa come oggetto smarrito. Una borsa che era al nostro tavolo con tanto di effetti personali e ci avevano anche visto che ci eravamo spostati per un po’! Evitatelo!

27/07/2025: Ho regalato una cena alla mia ragazza in questo ristorante, è un posto perfetto per una sera romantica e intima. Mi è stato riservato un tavolo panoramico con una vista magnifica che ci ha accompagnato ad ogni pasto. I piatti sono stati tutti di un altissimo livello, abbastanza ricercati e curati. Le uniche pecche che mi sento di evidenziare sono la qualità del pane che non era all’altezza dei piatti serviti e la mancanza di una spiegazione per ogni portata. Detto questo un ringraziamento speciale a Lello (quello alto) per averci servito con molta professionalità. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente per il nostro matrimonio ;) (magari con un pane migliore)

15/07/2025: A very beautiful and charming location, typical of the area, with a panoramic view. The staff is kind and helpful. In my opinion, the food isn't high quality, which is disappointing, especially since I've read many positive reviews, but they're completely irrelevant. The food is tasteless, starting with the appetizer (the tartare isn't fresh). I'd suggest a change of chef, especially since the place is well worth it. Decent value for money.

14/07/2025: Spectacular view. Fresh, well-cooked food with a varied menu. Friendly waiters. The only downside, if we want to find one, is that if it's too hot, having outdoor seating makes it difficult to resist the heat. Parking is easy! I'll be back.

29/05/2025: Today, May 29, my celiac husband and I went to this wonderful restaurant for lunch and we couldn't help but write a super review. I'm attaching the photos of our fantastic lunch 😍😍 We ate everything gluten-free and we highly recommend it to everyone 🥰👌 truly fabulous food in addition to the breathtaking view When you don't know where to go to eat, go here ... you'll be surprised ☺️ Michela & Rosario

02/05/2025: After a few years we returned to the Da Caliendo tavern and this time I didn't like it (much better when it was facing the square), perhaps it was the fact of wanting to imitate the master chef's gourmet dishes but more than anything else you pay dearly and you leave fasting, tiny but very expensive dishes (in fact a couple next to us was complaining), in the end it was time to get home and we were still hungry. Conclusion: I won't go there again.

18/07/2025: We arrived at the restaurant around 9:00 PM. The place was practically empty: out of about twenty tables, only three or four were occupied, including ours. From the start, we clearly expressed our desire for baked fish, choosing it directly from the tray of the day's catch shown to us by the waiter. After a clear argument between the waiter and the owner about the actual availability of the fish on display, they confirmed that we could order sea bream. So far, all things considered, acceptable, but the worst came soon after: while they were serving our appetizers, we were informed that the sea bream was no longer available because it had been "reserved" by another table. We were offered an alternative (meagre), which we accepted, but a few minutes later we were told that that fish was also no longer available because it was "reserved." Incredible, but true: fish that were on the tray two minutes earlier magically became unavailable, always in favor of other tables (who, coincidentally, seemed to be friends of the owner). We asked for an explanation and tried to talk to the owner, who apologized but admitted there was nothing he could do. At that point, disappointed and bitter, we decided not to order anything else. We only had a mediocre appetizer (yes, good, but nothing special), without the main course we had always wanted. The final bill? €93, reduced to €85 after our disappointment. A discount that seemed more like a joke than a genuine gesture of courtesy. A totally negative experience. We were treated superficially and disrespectfully, in a context where customer service should be the priority. It's unacceptable to promise something and then systematically take it away without taking any responsibility. We will never return and we won't recommend it to anyone.
