We fell in love with this venue immediately; the room is spacious, bright, and offers a breathtaking view. But what made us choose Poggio Ruppelt was the staff: Silvia instilled trust in us from the very first conversation, she accommodated us in every way, and she organized and managed the day IMPECCABLE; Pasquale was super PROFESSIONAL, the service was EXCELLENT, and they were attentive to every single need of the guests; the chef received compliments from all our guests. In short, our wedding was perfect thanks to them. I would choose this venue again countless times.

27/07/2025: Ho regalato una cena alla mia ragazza in questo ristorante, è un posto perfetto per una sera romantica e intima. Mi è stato riservato un tavolo panoramico con una vista magnifica che ci ha accompagnato ad ogni pasto. I piatti sono stati tutti di un altissimo livello, abbastanza ricercati e curati. Le uniche pecche che mi sento di evidenziare sono la qualità del pane che non era all’altezza dei piatti serviti e la mancanza di una spiegazione per ogni portata. Detto questo un ringraziamento speciale a Lello (quello alto) per averci servito con molta professionalità. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente per il nostro matrimonio ;) (magari con un pane migliore)

23/08/2025: The restaurant is meticulously maintained and the food is excellent.
We were very disappointed by the waiter's insistence that we not order too many different dishes so as not to clog up the kitchen (something we didn't expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant, and especially one that was arrogantly requested).
The almost obligatory wine selection by the glass is another negative.
Of the five waiters we saw, only one was friendly and cheerful.
I don't think we'll be back.
20/08/2025: It was recommended to us by friends who have been frequenting Il Riccio for a long time, and their expectations were fully met. The restaurant is beautifully presented; my wife and I dined in the carefully decorated outdoor area.
The quality of the food is truly remarkable: the freshness is immediately apparent, even from the aromas, and we can say without hesitation that we ate divinely. The staff was extremely courteous, both in their welcome and in explaining the dishes. Sincere compliments to a place that works with such care and professionalism.

06/07/2025: Closed on Sunday even though Google said it was open. Recommend the owners fix the data on Google. Disappointed because we drove all the way out there to go to the place we had our first date 22 years ago
15/06/2025: We went there to eat a pizza, but the owner candidly told us that they haven't made it for years, they can't change the website.... We ate a grill with a side dish, without any particular merit.

03/09/2025: 2 adults and 2 children. The appetizers for two arrived immediately, an hour later the first course for a child, another half hour later the first course for us two parents, and after another half hour and 3 reminders, my daughter's first course (wrong) arrived. After asking when the second course would arrive, it took 2 and a half hours for a second course to arrive, which was also wrong. Shame!!!
26/08/2025: I go there often. The fish is delicious and very fresh at great prices. The only thing they could improve on is the pasta dishes. The service is excellent despite it being often crowded.

14/09/2025: I went to Bar Cycas in Bacoli with a group of friends for an aperitivo. Unfortunately, the experience wasn't a positive one: along with the drinks, we were served a truly minuscule portion of snacks (a few tarallini, popcorn, and some rice snacks), barely enough for one person, certainly not for four. It felt like we were being served a "soap" rather than an accompaniment to the aperitivo.
Furthermore, the staff seemed rushed and inattentive: while I was still considering what to order, the waitress pressured me, and in the end I didn't order anything. The overall impression was of poor customer service and little attention to detail.
An aperitivo should be a pleasant moment of sharing.
14/09/2025: We had three cocktails and they handed us half a person's worth of appetizers, 5 popcorns, 5 spicy rice snacks, and 5 things I've never seen before... Definitely something to avoid, a truly shameful experience. We'll never go back. The staff suggested we bring a platter to enjoy.
The staff was inexperienced and exhausted, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

18/05/2025: Terrible experience!!! I have never gone to a restaurant waiting 2 and a half hours and being left without food! Three times they told me that the fish was cooking and instead it wasn't even in the pot! They didn't even apologize, rather a rather presumptuous attitude!
19/04/2025: We had lunch for my birthday 🎂, I must honestly say everything was good, fresh, and special. Applause goes to chef Domenico, a guy full of inventiveness. Excellent experience. The scialatielli with basil and seafood and the prawns with almonds were the best among all the courses.
