La luna, the restaurant by the sea, a beautiful and large company of various European nations (Italians, Germans and a Dutchman), who for years have chosen Calypso to spend the summer on the sea of ​​the Ionian coast of Calabria. A special dinner with a single dish "fusilloni with cucuzzelli spinusi", the famous spiny wild artichokes widespread on this coast. A "five-star" cook, Antonella, who was able to introduce and enjoy a typical local dish that will remain in the memories of all the participants (18). And, finally, local ice creams (truffles) proposed by the village director, Marco, concluded a well-presented and well-served dinner. The positive opinion on the dinner was shared by all the guests, including children and teenagers (5 out of 18).

17/08/2024: The former restaurant and pizzeria no longer exists. We ate there last summer and, like all the years before, it was very good. It is closed or moved to a hut on the beach. The quality is no longer what it was back then. The pinsa was a finished floor with little covering. Coperto per person 2 euros. In a beach shack... That's it for the Calypso chapter. Too bad.
