22/09/2025: We went on a Saturday evening. It's a true, traditional trattoria, simple, and has the atmosphere of old-fashioned eateries. The host is extremely kind and helpful. The mixed antipasto, fusilli all'aietana, and grilled veal steak with eggplant and mushrooms were all excellent and the portions generous. The prices were more than fair. It was a pleasure dining here.

18/11/2025: Located on one of Paola's main streets, it offers outdoor dining, and is very quiet in the evening. The owner is a very friendly and helpful person; he takes care of selecting the ingredients, which are truly top-notch. The sandwiches are truly delicious! 💯

28/08/2025: It's with regret that I can't leave more than one review, for the wine selection, the sandwiches, the fried foods, and the food. Everything is WONDERFUL. Not to mention the hospitality and kindness of the owner and his family, wonderful people with whom it's a real pleasure to chat. Worthy of note: spaghetti with clams, fried calamari and shrimp, and the breaded fetta sandwich—handmade, not the industrial junk they dish out at other places. I'm just sorry that my work stint in Paola will soon take me away from here, because it would have been my favorite place.

14/10/2025: I visited this restaurant, the location is great, the staff is helpful and friendly. The food is a bit salty for me, I didn't get the taste I expect in a restaurant, and the price is a bit too high for the taste.

12/10/2025: Very poor dishes; paying 28 euros for 40 grams of spaghetti with lobster is really a lot!! The appetizer was very simple and disappointing.

21/09/2025: The quality of the fish is excellent. The service is professional, and the location is beautiful. A good selection of dishes, 4/5 of each type, without those endlessly long tourist menus. Prices are in line with seaside seafood restaurants. Highly recommended... And then, in mid-September, with the beach half-empty and the sea in front... peace of mind.

22/08/2025: On our way back from Paola, we decided to try this restaurant in the ancient village of Belmonte. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We took the chef up on a suggestion, and he prepared an excellent pacchero with amberjack. The price was perhaps a little steep...but you pay for quality food.

18/08/2025: I dined at Taverna Intru u Vicu with a group of friends. Let me start by saying that the location is stunning: both the terrace and the alleyway will surely provide guests with an unforgettable experience. The service was kind and friendly, without being intrusive, and the owner and waiter made us feel at home. The house wine, served during dinner, was also excellent. As for the menu, the owner's innovation was much appreciated. No dish was banal, and the flavors were well-balanced. The tuna on tomato steak and the pickled tuna (€16-18) are definitely worth trying as appetizers. I personally ordered the mixed fried fish (€22), which was good, fresh, and crispy, but perhaps a bit small for a main course. In conclusion, absolutely recommended for those looking for an unconventional dinner in an excellent location. For eight of us, with four appetizers, eight courses, wine, drinks, and two shared desserts, we spent about €50 each.

08/11/2025: 👍 Strengths: Guaranteed Fun: The atmosphere is wonderful, and the kids had a blast with all the inflatables available. It's the perfect environment to let off steam! Exquisite Food: The cuisine deserves a special mention. I tried the pizza, and it was truly excellent—a true delicacy! Perfect for dinner. Excellent Staff: The staff was extremely kind and helpful, ready to accommodate any of our requests with a smile. ⚠️ Only Constructive Note: Inflatable Safety The only thing I would like to mention, and which may be a personal concern, concerns safety around the inflatables. I would have liked to see more dedicated entertainers supervising the area. Since there are children of different ages playing together, when they slip, there's a risk of them falling on each other. Increasing supervision in that area, in my opinion, would significantly improve the overall experience and provide parents with peace of mind. Despite this small point about security, the experience was extremely positive. We'll definitely be back!

Here, you're not just a customer: you're welcomed with genuine warmth. Chef Emilio is a master of seafood: each dish is a symphony of freshness and expertly balanced flavors. The seafood specialties are varied and always surprising; it's clear that each recipe is born of experience, passion, and respect for the ingredients. The fine wines selected further enhance the dishes, and the pizzas—yes, even the pizzas—are prepared with care and flavor. And the homemade desserts? A perfect conclusion that will remain in your heart. The family-run business of Carmelina, Emanuele, and the young Niccolò creates an intimate and authentic atmosphere: they manage everything with discretion, professionalism, and a warmth rarely found. The waiters are extremely kind, attentive, and never intrusive: their smiles complete an already extraordinary experience. The pride of a family that has transformed a restaurant into a place of celebration and memory is evident. The space is magnificent and versatile: the large capacity and the dramatic wooden nave make it perfect for weddings and anniversaries, those evenings where you want to share beauty with loved ones. The entrance, with its touches reminiscent of a London home—the doormat, the discreet ashtray for smokers—and the statue of San Francesco di Paola across the street, contribute to creating a unique, almost timeless atmosphere. 20/09/2025: We had dinner this evening and, unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to expectations. The food was average, nothing to justify the prices, which were truly excessive for what was offered. But what most impacted the overall rating was the service: in particular, a waiter with a goatee was arrogant and presumptuous, with an unprofessional and unwelcoming attitude. It's a shame, because the place has potential, but between the unmemorable food quality, the exorbitant prices, and such unpleasant service, I don't think we'll be back.
