24/09/2025: We ordered an Aperol Spritz and they brought us another brand that looked more like Campari, since my wife doesn't drink it. They mixed it with a very good wine, it must be said, but it wasn't. I told them twice that it wasn't Aperol. The French fry mix was a 7/10. They never brought us the ketchup/mayo we asked for with the fries. The truth is, we were happy and left with a bitter taste in our mouths... we would have eaten a pizza anywhere with water and not spent almost 70 euros on a terrible experience...

22/09/2025: We went on a Saturday evening. It's a true, traditional trattoria, simple, and has the atmosphere of old-fashioned eateries. The host is extremely kind and helpful. The mixed antipasto, fusilli all'aietana, and grilled veal steak with eggplant and mushrooms were all excellent and the portions generous. The prices were more than fair. It was a pleasure dining here.

28/08/2025: It's with regret that I can't leave more than one review, for the wine selection, the sandwiches, the fried foods, and the food. Everything is WONDERFUL. Not to mention the hospitality and kindness of the owner and his family, wonderful people with whom it's a real pleasure to chat. Worthy of note: spaghetti with clams, fried calamari and shrimp, and the breaded fetta sandwich—handmade, not the industrial junk they dish out at other places. I'm just sorry that my work stint in Paola will soon take me away from here, because it would have been my favorite place.

19/08/2025: What a great find!! Nothing to complain about, the fish was really good. Large portions and lots of fish. It's a shame about the location and the wait for a table.

21/09/2025: The quality of the fish is excellent. The service is professional, and the location is beautiful. A good selection of dishes, 4/5 of each type, without those endlessly long tourist menus. Prices are in line with seaside seafood restaurants. Highly recommended... And then, in mid-September, with the beach half-empty and the sea in front... peace of mind.

22/08/2025: On our way back from Paola, we decided to try this restaurant in the ancient village of Belmonte. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We took the chef up on a suggestion, and he prepared an excellent pacchero with amberjack. The price was perhaps a little steep...but you pay for quality food.

18/08/2025: I dined at Taverna Intru u Vicu with a group of friends. Let me start by saying that the location is stunning: both the terrace and the alleyway will surely provide guests with an unforgettable experience. The service was kind and friendly, without being intrusive, and the owner and waiter made us feel at home. The house wine, served during dinner, was also excellent. As for the menu, the owner's innovation was much appreciated. No dish was banal, and the flavors were well-balanced. The tuna on tomato steak and the pickled tuna (€16-18) are definitely worth trying as appetizers. I personally ordered the mixed fried fish (€22), which was good, fresh, and crispy, but perhaps a bit small for a main course. In conclusion, absolutely recommended for those looking for an unconventional dinner in an excellent location. For eight of us, with four appetizers, eight courses, wine, drinks, and two shared desserts, we spent about €50 each.

Here, you're not just a customer: you're welcomed with genuine warmth. Chef Emilio is a master of seafood: each dish is a symphony of freshness and expertly balanced flavors. The seafood specialties are varied and always surprising; it's clear that each recipe is born of experience, passion, and respect for the ingredients. The fine wines selected further enhance the dishes, and the pizzas—yes, even the pizzas—are prepared with care and flavor. And the homemade desserts? A perfect conclusion that will remain in your heart. The family-run business of Carmelina, Emanuele, and the young Niccolò creates an intimate and authentic atmosphere: they manage everything with discretion, professionalism, and a warmth rarely found. The waiters are extremely kind, attentive, and never intrusive: their smiles complete an already extraordinary experience. The pride of a family that has transformed a restaurant into a place of celebration and memory is evident. The space is magnificent and versatile: the large capacity and the dramatic wooden nave make it perfect for weddings and anniversaries, those evenings where you want to share beauty with loved ones. The entrance, with its touches reminiscent of a London home—the doormat, the discreet ashtray for smokers—and the statue of San Francesco di Paola across the street, contribute to creating a unique, almost timeless atmosphere. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart: for the excellent food, for the sincere welcome, and for creating a space where every visit becomes a precious memory. 20/09/2025: We had dinner this evening and, unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to expectations. The food was average, nothing to justify the prices, which were truly excessive for what was offered. But what most impacted the overall rating was the service: in particular, a waiter with a goatee was arrogant and presumptuous, with an unprofessional and unwelcoming attitude. It's a shame, because the place has potential, but between the unmemorable food quality, the exorbitant prices, and such unpleasant service, I don't think we'll be back.

18/09/2025: With a breathtaking view, friendly and helpful staff, and excellent food, it rightly has its prices. But when you eat well and feel good, it's money well spent.
