21/08/2026: We walked in at 8:20 PM without a reservation, and the place was half empty. We asked if a table for two was available. The waitress didn't respond immediately, instead consulting with a colleague who gave her a firm NO, without even asking if I wanted to wait or free up the table at a certain time. It's unfortunate that there was poor communication and a lack of customer loyalty. I won't be returning.

21/08/2026: We ate divinely. Both the hot and cold appetizers and the first course were exquisite. The one with truffle, squid ink, and pistachio was especially noteworthy. The restaurant is well-maintained, with a stone interior and exposed beams. Everything was perfect.

14/08/2026: A delightful dinner at Frantoio, in Soverato Superiore. Refined seafood and meat dishes, carefully prepared with top-quality ingredients. The service was also highly appreciated: the attentive, professional, and always friendly staff were able to discreetly accompany the meal. A truly positive experience in a pleasant atmosphere. Definitely recommended.

02/08/2026: I think it's a must for anyone visiting beautiful Soverato. The place is familiar and welcoming, as is the entire Salerno family, who with love, kindness, and expertise prepare stellar, absolutely fresh food, accompanied by consistently delicious drinks and service that makes you feel loved and pampered, and that also provides plenty of laughter with great music. In a word: you'll enjoy yourself! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

30/07/2026: The food was good, but unfortunately, in the linguine with mussels and clams, all the mussels had their shells uncleaned. For the price, I'd expect to find well-cleaned shells, both for hygiene reasons and because I was a bit disgusted by the sight of them. The sauce also had a grainy taste, like chopped nuts. I wasn't sure what it was, especially since it wasn't listed among the ingredients on the menu, but the flavor was still very good. Unfortunately, the worst part was the calamari skewers (off the menu), one of which was partially raw. Although I reported this to the waitress, they only apologized and offered us a house limoncello/bergamot, but at €16 for the two skewers, we paid the full price. They could have just discounted the cover charge, but it doesn't matter. I'm disappointed because it's clear the chef is skilled, but for the price, I expect a little more attention to detail in the dishes and in the way they treat the customers. The young man who served us, however, was very kind.

13/08/2026: An unforgettable meal in Soverato! From the moment we sat down, Domenico took care of everything. No need for a menu, he simply told us what was fresh that day and built our meal around it. We started with an incredible mixed appetizer: shrimp, squid, scampi, and beautiful fresh oysters. Then came linguine with mixed fish from the rocks, made with the catch we had seen displayed on the cart when we walked in. Everything tasted like it came out of the sea that morning, because it did. Domenico was warm, funny, and clearly proud of his food, and Rafael, Andrea, and Arina rounded out a service team that made us feel like family. This is the real Calabria: fresh seafood, generous hospitality, and no shortcuts. If you are in Soverato, do not miss Riviera. Grazie mille to the whole team, we will be back!
