18/02/2026: A few weeks ago, we made reservations for two on a Tuesday evening for dinner at 7:30 PM. They reserved a table for us right in front of the entrance door, without explaining that it was the only available table because the others were already taken and dinner would be served in multiple sittings. We arrived at this otherwise very nice place. But we were greeted by a lady at the cash register, and we asked if it was possible to have another table, a little more sheltered. She escorted us to a waitress who told us in a cold and annoyed manner that the table had to be free by 8:30 PM. Despite the embarrassment, we decided to eat, and obviously, between words and actions, we ate within 20 minutes... We wanted to at least ask for a coffee to finish. But the same waitress, very rudely, reminded us that we had to leave the table free. The first and perhaps last time we'll set foot in that place... A real shame. The little we ate was good. And we really liked the place. But if this is the service... We'll think carefully before returning.

26/01/2026: Here from Rome for my son's soccer match. A real place, like the ones from the old days. Not touristy. Quality and kindness. Everyone was welcoming. A big hello to the owner, who not only served us but also told us a little about the place.

15/11/2025: "C'era una Volta" is one of those restaurants that makes you forget time as soon as you walk in the door. The ambiance is meticulously designed: warm, inviting, and inviting, inviting you to relax and enjoy yourself. The staff is truly impeccable: professional, friendly, and always available to recommend the perfect dish. Every course is a surprise: fresh ingredients, authentic flavors. You can clearly taste the passion and love that goes into preparing each dish. The desserts are also fantastic, with just the right balance of indulgence and delicacy. Generous portions, top quality, and excellent value. In short: a restaurant absolutely worth a visit. Perfect. I will definitely be back!

12/03/2026: This place is truly a little gem: its unique decor exudes a strong Sicilian feel. There aren't many places like this in the Marche region, and that alone is a huge plus. I've been there in the winter, and I don't know exactly what it's like in the summer, but I imagine it's much better. It's a bit of a waste to go in the winter, but I appreciate the fact that it's one of the few places in Marina di Montemarciano that's open in the winter too. I can also say that the prices are, in my opinion, a bit high, considering the area and the food, because yes, they make very unique dishes—I'd even say a bit too unique. There's nothing classic about them: they're always unusual combinations, with ingredients mixed in odd ways, and unique sauces. The dishes are very beautiful to look at, with meticulous presentation, but they're missing those classic dishes, maybe one, that would be nice to find. In my opinion, the prices are a bit high: we spent more than 50 euros per person. Finally, the waiters provided truly excellent service: they carefully explained all the dishes to us, and there's really nothing to complain about the service: they were truly excellent.

10/03/2026: We stayed there for an anniversary, and there were a large group of us. The cleanliness and furnishings were excellent. The beds were comfortable. We also used the kitchen, which served a full, excellent-quality lunch. Recommended.

31/05/2025: I chose this place to celebrate my daughter's communion and I couldn't have made a better choice. A pleasantly refined place in the furnishings, family-run, with truly refined and never banal dishes. I managed to satisfy both those who love the most delicious cuisine and those who prefer tradition in one go. In short... high-level cuisine at a more than fair price! Compliments to Marco, Claudia and a special mention to Alice, very kind and very professional in presenting the dishes.

07/05/2025: I've been there for dinner with friends. The pizza was good and original. The fried food was a little too cold and scarce. Good beer and wine. Speedy service. Personally, I ate a burger that was a little smaller than normal. The price of dinner, for what we ate, was not very fair in my opinion. But today, unfortunately, it is common practice everywhere to pay disproportionately compared to what you eat.
