08/01/2026: I visited the Campiglio refuge at the end of the summer.
The mixed antipasti platter was delicious, with generous portions, perfect for sharing. I then had the pork shank with baked potatoes.
Exceptional! The best shank I've ever had, perfectly cooked, soft and moist. The apple pie was also very good.
Good service and excellent value.
A must-try, especially on a sunny day to enjoy the view outside!

08/01/2026: I thought Matteo was impossible to replace, but I was wrong: the family—cook Jessica, woodcutter Fabio, and daredevil Elias—has managed to further improve the look and cuisine of this truly delightful place with a spectacular view of Lake Maggiore. Reservations are essential (there are no refrigerators, and groceries are made fresh and based on the number of guests booked). This year, you'll also find the legendary Feijoa, whose jam pairs wonderfully with goat's and cow's milk cheeses aged in hay.

25/06/2024: Allora che la pizzeria ristorante il Circolo di Dumenza fosse un posto ameno e da consigliare per la qualità -prezzo l'avevamo già scritto... Ma ora con la nuova gestione mi sembra che tutto si sia veramente ottimizzato al meglio! Le pizze più strepitose di prima, stasera, con somma sorpresa, una carbonara degna di Roma! Rigatoni al dente scrocchiarelli, guanciale vero affumicato salsa ottima insomma da provare! Come al solito qualità prezzo da esposizione.... Vi consiglio caldamente di provare il circolo vizioso a Dumenza!!!
21/04/2024: Ero in zona con i miei due piccoli 4 e 6 anni, abbiamo mangiato una pizza in 3 come antipasto e 3 risotti zafferano ai funghi.
Servizio ottimo e rapido (importante la velocità il primo piatto con due monelli affamati), pizza buonissima e torneremo per quella, risotto ottimo, dose giusta.
Personale, ambiente, cibo da 5 stelle con un prezzo molto competitivo.
