Pizzeria I Due Ponti

18/08/2025: We visited the pizzeria over the weekend.
It's actually only for pickup, but upon request, we were allowed to eat in.
We got an excellent pizza within a few minutes, even though it was very busy.
Fresh from the wood-fired oven, generously toppings, and a crispy crust.
The pizza was a good size, and the staff were incredibly friendly.
We visited again the next day, and they were happy to see us again.
We tried a Pizza Papa, Zola e Noci, and Primavera.
It was fabulous.
02/08/2025: A classic Italian pizzeria where locals get their pizza. Not a tourist shop, but where the pizza is highly recommended.

22/08/2025: Very good restaurant with excellent service.
The waitress even cleaned our table between courses.
The food was really good, plentiful, and of good quality.
It was also quite affordable for my expectations, given the modern and well-kept location.

07/08/2025: Less of a refuge and more of a bar-restaurant, but it's fine. A balcony overlooking Lake Maggiore is 100 meters away, not to be missed.

18/08/2025: A terrible experience.
We sat down and were immediately warned that we'd have a 45-50 minute wait. We accepted this, but I thought the wait would be an hour and a half. The waiter explained that orders would be served in order, but it was unacceptable to have to wait this long for a tartare or a salad. I mentioned that my wife was pregnant, and in response, the table next door was served.
The location is worth it—a beautiful square overlooking the sea—but don't have lunch or dinner here. The food is decent, but irrelevant considering the uncomfortable situation. If you have time to waste, this is the place.

30/08/2025: I'm giving it one star, but it deserves zero. We arrived on a Saturday evening (in August) and the place was practically empty. After 10 minutes of no one paying attention to us, they finally let us sit. The person taking orders, instead of coming to us, went to smoke a cigarette a short distance from our table. We asked for a menu and he huffed. We got up and left...
23/08/2025: The service is absolutely terrible and arrogant. It can really ruin your mood. We just left.

29/08/2024: Tutto nella media. Rapporto qualità prezzo giusto.
Ambiente informale. Scialatielli allo scoglio molto saporiti e ricchi.
Anche le pizze ispiravano a vederle ma non le abbiamo provate.
22/08/2024: Angeregt durch eher positive Bewertungen kamen wir in hoffnungsvoller Erwartung in die gut frequentierte Trattoria/Pizzeria. Etwas störend machte sich (wie leider in sehr vielen Lokalen hier) die musikalische Dauerbeschallung bemerkbar. Die Bedienung wirkte mürrisch bis gelangweilt, was auch die späteren Späße nicht ausgleichen konnten. Die Pizza war durchschnittlich, die Lasagne allerdings indiskutabel: ein quadratisch geschnittenes, Béchamel-lastiges, total trockenes und fast geschmacksfreies Stück wurde in einem gewöhnlichen Pasta-Teller serviert. Eine Enttäuschung.
