22/06/2025: We met with a group of friends to celebrate the birthday of one of us.
First time here at "Caxa Mal Coti" which truly gave me an exceptional gastronomic experience.
The structure is immersed in the splendid hills of the Oltrepò Pavese and offers a comfortable and bright environment where you feel like family thanks to the warm welcome of the staff.
The quality of the food is remarkable: from the rich and tasty appetizers to the stellar first courses such as agnolotti, everything is prepared with home-grown ingredients.
The fried gnocco is tasty and light, and the homemade limoncello cream is the perfect finishing touch.
The wines offered also masterfully accompany each course.
The quality-price ratio is very honest, considering the generous portions and the excellence of the products.
The rustic and familiar service, but no less impeccable and professional, and is managed with great expertise.
The breathtaking view from the hills makes the atmosphere even more magical.
By the way, last night from the huge window we were able to enjoy the spectacle of nature of a very intense storm that illuminated all the surrounding hills.
It is essential to book well in advance given the great demand, but the wait is absolutely worth it.
A culinary experience that leaves the desire to return soon!

14/05/2025: Ci siamo stati per pranzo nel weekend, menù alla carta a differenza della media dell’oltrepo, rapporto qualità prezzo buono e buoni piatti proposti.
Ambiente tranquillo e informale, piacevole.
06/05/2025: Ci siamo fermati qui dopo un pomeriggio in bicicletta in Oltrepò per una merenda/aperitivo...
Abbiamo preso tagliere di salumi, formaggi, cipolline e insalata russa fatta in casa... tutto molto squisito. Anche il vino della casa molto buono.
Il personale è stato cortese, gentile e disponibile.
Torneremo sicuramente e lo consigliamo senza dubbio!

20/03/2025: Reservamos una habitación en la casa de huéspedes en nuestro camino de Malpensa a Rapallo y desde el momento en que llegamos, nos hicieron sentir como si fuéramos huéspedes más bienvenidos. Las habitaciones son sencillas pero acogedoras y cómodas. Sin embargo, la joya de nuestra visita fue la cena! Wow! Para empezar, nos dieron un banquete de carnes curadas acompañadas de focaccia con queso y aceite de oliva. Luego otro plato de raviolis con carne de res y finalmente carne asada con papas y ensalada. Todo hecho con amor a partir de recetas transmitidas de la abuela a la madre a la hija. Todo ello acompañado de una fabulosa botella de tinto Barbera y tapado con digestif de crema de limón casero. Asegúrese de probar el helado de leche - helado con calabaza confitada de postre. ¡Ven con hambre! Llegamos como extraños y nos fuimos como amigos. Sin duda un punto culminante de nuestro viaje!
