19/02/2024: Recent experience, in short... a Friday evening, a deserted place... be seated with kindness and simplicity, appetizers served at the table without cured meats??? we were later invited to serve us at the adjacent table... we see an uncut salami to be cleaned and sliced, placed on a small cutting board with a knife next to it (but we didn't dare...) next to 5/6 small glass bowls containing; beans, anchovies, Russian salad... etc... etc... while serving ourselves, we immediately notice that we have difficulty picking up the food with the spoon... it's all extremely compact, evidently prepared, not stirred and stored in the refrigerator for some time. .. We continue with a pasta with mushrooms (we are explained that they are dried mushrooms found in water...) very well, no problem... but we didn't ask for the little "guest" on the plate... we tell ourselves that it can happen, patience... moral... let's keep silent and ignore it to forget... and avoid absurd embarrassments, we ask for the second one but we notice that by returning the plates still partially full we are not asked for anything... but let's go further... we fall back on the meat, a fillet anticipated by long clarifications and flattery on the part of the innkeeper, but in essence we were served boiled meat completely submerged and hidden by an abundant mustard-based sauce... we will be served a bottle of water, ½ carafe of bulk house wine (good) and coffee... it all ends with a bill of 28/30 euros on average per head, cash payment without any tax receipt or receipt... Given that the bill could be in line except for taxation, errors and inconveniences that occurred... although served with cordiality and kindness, long chats (perhaps too many...) the whole thing did not satisfy us at all. We will certainly not return and we raise enormous doubts regarding the quality of the food and its conservation. Free will to all... if you wish, try... Greetings
