24/02/2026: The restaurant has two souls: the location is beautiful, and finding flaws is truly difficult. Unfortunately, the same dedication to sourcing the products and preparing the dishes isn't apparent. The prices absolutely don't match the quality of the products, which are exorbitantly high. The braised mutton was glaringly flawed, even with the caponata. The tartare was good, but the meat was a bit meatball-like, too compact. The cheese selection was excellent, almost enviable, but boy, the portions were truly small, and the prices were like jewelry. The wines on the menu are old-fashioned, without even a hint of innovation. Prices? The usual problem. Wines by the glass are embarrassing. (Almost like those of a large-scale retail trade) With prices here too unreasonable, and the service is also poor. Unfortunately, they sell themselves for what they are not. Appearance and non-existence. Cheese tasting menu for life. Everything else really needs rethinking. A great shame. But a great shame.

21/02/2026: I ate at this restaurant and can say the meat is good quality and the service is excellent. But I must also point out a certain approach, especially regarding the pricing of the Florentine steak, that isn't exactly fair and transparent to the customer... Having paid €100 for a Florentine steak, it would be appropriate to show the piece still raw and state the weight, and then let the customer decide if it's okay, not by surprise... especially since the receipt doesn't even show the weight, only the price. It's not serious to do this kind of trickery!

19/01/2026: I had lunch at this osteria for the first time, even though I hadn't booked, and I immediately felt at ease. The atmosphere was welcoming, the food authentic but above all, high-quality. What sets it apart from other more renowned establishments is the staff, whom I found friendly, smiling, and helpful, including Mascia, who deserves special praise for her demonstrated professionalism as well as her spontaneous and lively charm. 08/03/2026: I returned a few years after the management change. A huge disappointment. Good food, friendly staff, but poor service. Lots of confusion with the order and an unforgivable delay in serving the starters. From ordering to the arrival of the last blueberry risottos, there was a wait of over an hour. No change of cutlery, even though they were covered in sauce. The seafood spaghetti was not al dente but rather al dente. Total confusion, I asked for an explanation, but the answer was lost. Never mind!!! At least the coffee was good. N.B. At the time of payment, a gesture of kindness was given: they gave us complimentary liquor and two free bottles. It's appreciated, but the review remains unchanged. Reviews are needed to improve!!!

18/01/2026: We went to the Valtellina dinner. The place is very small, tables are crowded together, and the passageways are extremely narrow; basically, you're "huddled together." This could even be nice if it weren't for the fact that you have to get up to get to the buffet. The food is good, certainly plentiful, and the buffet is refilled regularly. Then you sit down and they bring you sciatt (buckwheat and cheese fritters). It's a shame you only find out later that they only serve two dishes per table (i.e., two sciatt) per person, a fact that isn't told to you and isn't made clear at the entrance. The staff is friendly and very kind. I'm not very satisfied, and I don't think I'll have this experience again.

16/02/2026: A failed Valentine's Day dinner. The evening began with some difficulty finding my reservation, despite it having been confirmed on both TheFork and WhatsApp. Eventually, it was found, and I didn't give it much thought. Once we were seated, the waiter, without even saying hello, poured us some bubbles without asking if we'd like them; in fact, my companion didn't drink them. We consumed our appetizer and main course in about 30 minutes, but from then on, the experience worsened: we waited almost an hour for the main course (a salmon steak), which arrived raw. After asking to have it re-sautéed, it came back raw again. On the third delivery, we decided to refuse it, also because we were no longer hungry, and the waiter walked away in a huff. After another wait, dessert arrived, for a total of about three hours of service. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the price: mediocre and poorly presented, far from what we expected for an evening like Valentine's Day. When we received the bill, we mentioned the salmon issue; we weren't expecting a discount, but at least an apology for the evening, especially since we weren't the only table with that problem. Instead, we were told we should have eaten it like that because it was simply "overcooked," when in reality it was raw and even cold. As if that weren't enough, before leaving, we were yelled at for having given us the wrong change. What I perceived was a serious lack of competence and probably also of staff. It's a shame, because the place itself isn't bad. I wouldn't go back and I wouldn't recommend it.

10/02/2026: Good food but small portions. They say "spaghettoni with prawns" and they give you two small pieces of prawns, and the spaghetti is thin. They say "french fries" and they serve you fried potato slices with their skins on. A glass of wine costs €6, and the lady taking orders is at times annoyed and unaccommodating. The sliced ​​bread had drier slices and softer slices. They charged us €2.50 for a cover charge for our one-year-old daughter, who ate her own food and didn't even make a mess. The charcuterie and cheese platter was delicious but really poor. For the prices and with the new management (before, they'd spoil you and you'd eat everything homemade, including bread and breadsticks, and the portions were normal/generous), I don't recommend it. Above all, you can't pay €20 for spaghettoni with prawns and end up with spaghettini and almost no fish. The cheek is a tiny piece that won't fill you up, even if you eat less. The parking lot is across a steep, poorly maintained dirt road (very muddy in case of rain). There's no changing table. We were really disappointed.
