18/05/2025: We were there during the week so the turnout was low and the restaurant was very quiet. We were served promptly and carefully. We ordered a platter to share between three accompanied by bread and focaccia, a first course each, very good and well presented, a dessert each (very fresh cheesecake) and a small bottle of wine. Definitely recommended!

22/05/2025: Locale molto bello, nelle stalle del Castello di Melegnano che, anche se milanese, non sapevo esistesse.
Il locale ha anche un giardino per aperitivi e cene in estate.
Cibo e vini di grande qualità!
Servizio eccellente.
Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo anche perché le porzioni sono abbondanti.
Purtroppo ci vuole mezz'ora da Milano.
Un plauso a Giacomo, l'oste, che non lascia nulla al caso.
Bravi!

28/04/2025: Locale piccolo, con pochi coperti, ma comunque caotico. Ho dato 3 stelle perché le due signore in sala sono davvero carine, il servizio però è lento e caotico . Le pizze escono due alla volta, gli ingredienti sono anche buoni, ma la quantità di olio e la lievitazione forse non completa hanno reso il tutto molto poco digeribile. Il prezzo corrisponde a quanto offerto

06/04/2025: Particularly spot on place, welcoming environment, family atmosphere, excellent choice of raw materials, exceptional bruschetta and tomato soup, good wine. The peculiarity of the place is that thanks to its structure it manages to have excellent prices despite the good quality of the raw materials. Recommended for those who want to spend a nice relaxing and fun evening in the company of friends. I will definitely go back

27/04/2025: The food is very good although the pizzas are often burnt. They also let rose street vendors enter the place and insist on making you try to buy something (they are very insistent) having said that, all in all it's ok but not too much
26/04/2025: The pizza with the Parma ham and the slightly peppery rocket was very good! The dough and tomato sauce formed a perfect base for the toppings.
The risotto with mussels was basically good, but it lacked a certain something. The consistency was pleasantly creamy and the mussels were fresh. Overall solid, but with room for improvement.

My partner and I stopped here on recommendation for a quick lunch and La Fossa directly exceeded our expectations.
The dishes are simple, plentiful and tasty.
As far as the service is concerned, it is excellent, and it is the real strong point of this place as well as the value for money.

13/05/2025: Cibo eccellente e scelta molto ampia dal menù. Purtroppo stonano la lentezza e l'indisponibilità del personale: per fare un secondo ordine bisogna andare a cercarli e fanno molta fatica a farsi venire voglia di sparecchiare.

12/12/2024: Kind and affable staff, they don't mind chatting, quick service, excellent kebab... the only flaw is the parking... the place covers 2 windows on Via Dezza

31/03/2025: Fish tasting menu dinner. 55 euros, 4 dishes and 4 glasses.
1) Shrimp in saor with Friulian sauvignon blanc, a great pairing.
2) Gnocchi with clams and broccoli cream. Not very tasty, some bottarga would have been nice. Paired with a Colli di Luni vermentino, also unbalanced on white pulp fruit.
3) Chardonnay drunk on octopus in provola fondue and caramelized radicchio.
On the nose dull, but in the mouth its flavor was an excellent counterpoint to the sweetness of the dish.
4) Recioto di Soafe drunk with Baileys cream semifreddo. Neutral on the nose, a mortal sin for a sweet wine.
Congratulations to the establishment: chef and dining room brigade.
