02/03/2025: Cibo ottimo, verdure ottime !!! Locale accogliente ed una gran nota di merito va al titolare e al personale cordiale e sorridente. Contentissima, del cibo, del vino, dei dessert….sicuramente ci tornerò presto!
19/02/2025: Tornare in questo locale è sempre un piacere… cucina tipica delle trattorie mantovane con varie scelte e dal sapore casalingo! Location rustica e personale di sala cortese!
Se posso consigliare, è meglio in sede di prenotazione chiedere di essere sistemati nella prima sala, perché pur essendoci la porta d’entrata resta comunque meno caotica, la seconda sala è più rumorosa e di giorno un po’ buia. Nel weekend è meglio prenotare per tempo! Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo

10/12/2024: Servizio un po’ frettoloso e cibo abbastanza buono, ma niente di eccellente. Forse le mie aspettative per questo posto erano più alte del dovuto. Ad ogni modo la location è rustica e calda, un buon posto per una serata tra amici senza spendere troppo.
13/11/2024: Location bella, ma potrebbe essere curata meglio. Servizio assente: i camerieri confusionari e sembrano disorientati; nessun tovagliolo in più a tavola ed anche a chiederli me hanno portato 1 di numero! Attesa delle portate troppo troppo lunga e snervante.
La faraona era ottima. Peccato per le patate con burro, troppo pesanti e non adatte agli intolleranti. Buono il vino ed anche l'amaro alle erbe.
Ratatouille molto unta ed insapore.
Non ripeterò l'esperienza poiché c'è di molto meglio nei paraggi.

17/11/2024: We booked with The fork. Confirmed the reservation. We arrive there and it's closed, we tried calling before arriving and no one answered.
20/10/2024: A star that couldn't be less. Happened by chance, what can I say... disgusting... three dishes, prices out of line compared to other restaurants. Half burnt lasagna, stewed cuttlefish that looked like vomit. Sorry for the heavy words but I really think it can't get any worse than this. Waiter seemed to have come back from the stable, dirty and what can I say... Absolutely to be avoided, in fact we were unique 🤦♀️.

28/10/2024: Honestly, apart from the location (near Gardaland) and the very pleasant first person at the reception, we didn't find much positive.
The breakfasts are really bad (undrinkable fruit juice, no bread just rusks and sandwich bread, everything is cold to be reheated in the microwave! Bacon eggs etc...). The rooms are certainly spacious but the bedding is hard (you have the impression of sleeping on the floor), the shower doors fall as soon as you handle them, the roller shutter of the children's window does not close, the results are woken up at 6am. The bathroom door does not close and traces of humidity all over the wall of the children's bedroom. In short, avoid it because it is way too expensive for what it is.

Very nice, clean rooms, BUT..
You can't see a bathroom without a bidet in Italy.
UNACCEPTABLE.
For the rest, a strategic position and a delightful view of the greenery.

20/12/2024: Tra le dolci colline moreniche ,un borgo mantovano dal l sapore antico ,a pochi chilometri dal lago di Garda si trovano questi ristoranti familiari dove l'accoglienza è squisita.Piatti dal gusto vero ,tra tradizione e rispetto delle materie
Noi abbiamo scelto i fuori menù consigliati ..arrosto allamarone con polenta ,e in ouverture un ' insalata di nervetti. E per concludere una torta pere cioccolato e un semifreddo al torroncino con pistacchi.
Val bene una visita ! Gentilezza ,ottima cucina e familiarità

12/01/2025: Ottima cena di crudo, pesce freschissimo, abbondante e vario.
Gli antipasti sono davvero buoni, con porzioni abbondanti a un prezzo onestissimo.
Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.
Alla pari, se non migliore, di ristoranti in cui si paga molto di più e si mangia molto meno.
Alternative anche senza glutine compreso il dolce fatto da loro
31/12/2024: Sto festeggiando il capodanno, il cibo non male ,ma se vuoi bere un cocktail qualsiasi non fanno nulla di nulla solo acqua o vino ,e veramente deludente ,a capodanno non si riesce a bere al banco un cocktail qualsiasi ,non ho parole,e non verrò mai più e con me molti amici

07/07/2024: Wir können die guten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen...
wir kommen seit über 10 Jahren mindestens 1x im Jahr zum Gardasee und seit über 50 Jahren Italien insgesamt. Wir sind Italiener und kennen demnach die italienische Küche und wissen wie was schmecken soll. In jedem Ort wo wir uns aufhalten, besuchen wir mindestens drei Unterschiedliche Restaurants (folgen die Empfehlungen bzw. gute Bewertungen).
Wir sind auf Empfehlung zu Cygnus, weil uns gesagt wurde: die lecker steht und knusprigste Pizza würde es nur da geben.
wir folgen diese Empfehlung und wundern uns schon bei der Reservierung das noch nicht einmal ein Name gefragt wurde. Was im Prinzip nicht schlimm war, nur komisch.
vor Ort angekommen, wurde wir noch nicht einmal angesprochen sondern wir mussten uns bemerkbar machen obwohl, noch nichts los war (nur ein Tisch war belegt)
am Platz wurden wir mit Abstand von 3 verschiedene Kellner auf englisch (zeichnen dafür das viele Touristen dahin gehen) angesprochen was wir bestellen möchten. (unorganisiert! unprofessionell)
das essen (eine Thunfisch Pizza und einmal Pasta mit Steinpilze) kam innerhalb wenige Minuten!
Positiv: die Pizza hatte einen knusprigen Rand! Und rote Zwiebeln!
Negativ: die Pizza war in der Mitte aufgeweicht! Man musste aufpassen sich nicht zu kleckern (eine gute Pizza wird eigentlich in 4,8 oder 12 Teile geschnitten und mit den Händen gegessen, was hier NICHT möglich war!)
Die Tagliolini ai porcini, war eine beleidigung für Augen und Gaumen!
Die Pasta war stark verkocht!!! Die Steinpilze aus dem GLAS! (italienische Köche benutzen außerhalb der Pilzsaison, getrocknete Pilze da es geschmackvoller ist)
Erster Kellner kommt während wir essen, fragt ob alles ok ist. Wir sagen beide "NO! " , er sagt: "Bene" (Gut) und geht!
Zweiter Kellner fragt das selbe, wir sagen WIEDER nein, seine Antwort "Perfetto"
Nein! Hier ist nichts perfekt.
Wie erklären was wir nicht gut fanden und seine Antwort war immer "Perfetto"
zudem meinte er diese Info wird nicht weitergeleitet.
schade! Ein guter Restaurant entwickelt sich weiter...
wir haben uns gezwungen die Teller leer zu essen da wir hungrig waren... ansonsten hätten wir am liebsten alles liegen gelassen.
hier gab es kein Trinkgeld!
26/06/2024: Bodenständig und gut, sehr freundlich und alles perfekt, kein Gourmet, aber wer bodenständige gute Küche sucht, macht hier nichts falsch, gutes Preis - Leistungsverhältnis
