13/06/2025: Super delicious pizza, a huge selection, great combinations, and very friendly staff. We went back the next day and would definitely go back.

The food is really good and vegetarian option too, it’s the first time I enjoy eating a vegetarian pizza.
I recommend to take the pizza and eat near the lake :)

26/05/2025: It is always a real pleasure to stop at Crotto del Cech for the food, the kindness of the staff, the environment. Superb dishes that propose ancient recipes and excellent others from testaroli with mushrooms, to Ligurian ravioli with walnut sauce. Generous portions, but also half portions possible, honest bill. Not to be missed if you pass by Dervio.
23/05/2025: The food here is soooooo good! It’s a family reataurant and the stuff is very, very nice. The owner explain to us what every dish in the menu means. They have only a few thing in the menu but everything is made with love and very tasty. They have only traditional food, so if you want to try something pure italian this is the right place to come. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

14/06/2025: Very simple take away restaurant, lake view in Dervio. They have outside tables, to consume on the spot. Good prices but, fried lake fish to be improved.

29/06/2025: Very good, excellent pizza, and the shellfish pasta too.
Fully booked when we arrived, we were offered to wait at a table outside, but 15 minutes later we were able to take a seat.
I highly recommend it.
28/06/2025: Good food and timely service.
Years later, the menu is always excellent, precise service and great courtesy. Great improvement compared to the past, so much so that we no longer regret the Briam wooden kiosk.
Returned today for lunch: excellent carbonara, paccheri, tagliatelle and fried food. Closing beautifully with lemon sorbet.
April 2025: the above for the previous management; I will not fail to report my experience with the current management as soon as possible. Made today April 25th, even if for two pizzas: excellent as before. Everything as before, including Aldo, with the new takeaway van on the avenue: worth trying.

18/05/2025: A little frustrated that I wasn't allowed to use the wifi. The signal was there and clearly identified but I was told there is no wifi. Had to work using a mobile hotpot with slow data instead.

26/04/2025: The food was cold and there was something strange inside probably a hair of a cook I went to ask for a coffee and the lady welcomed me badly and sent me to hell and the environment was dirty with bedbugs on the plate and birds flying around and there was a child who came to the table asking to put a curl review
21/04/2025: We were surprised about how fast they served us but the result was not so surprising. Pasta carbonara was on a 2, very un tasty, kids did not want to eat it. La parmigiana was on 5, pretty good. Gnocchi the same, very good. Pasta paccheri - they did not have paccheri and replaced with fettuccini. It was on a 4 I would say. The biggest disappointment was the dessert, cake of the day. It was a tiny slice of panettone with some strange sauce…. At least now we know what colomba cake is)))

22/10/2023: Assolutamente pessimo. Antipasti di gamberi cattivi di qualità scarsa ( non fresco). Spaghetti al nero di seppia immangiabili, avanzati. Non abbiamo avuto il coraggio di mangiare il dolce, siamo andati a prenderli altrove. Abbiamo fatto presente che gli spaghetti erano immangiabili, nell’indifferenza del ristoratore.
21/10/2023: Male male, da non tornarci....antipasto insipido, spaghetti al nero di seppia al sapore di burro...conto salato...da non tornarci!

02/03/2025: Ci siamo trovati veramente bene! Tutto è stato perfetto: l’accoglienza, il servizio, il cibo e il conto. I piatti curati nel dettaglio e non banali, super il risotto al mandarino con cottura perfetta. I dolci non sono da meno, attenzione e richiami al bellissimo luogo dove si trova il ristorante, ai piedi di una torre medievale. Grazie, torneremo sicuramente!

26/04/2025: Ho cenato, pernottamento e pranzato il questo rifugio.
Camere e bagni puliti, giovani ragazzi affabili, cordiali, gentili, disponibilissimi e umani; traspare da tutti il piacere di quello che fanno.
Ottima la cucina con materie prime di qualità e ottima scelta di abbinamenti tra i gusti.
Pizzoccheri molto, ma molto gustosi e delicati, ritengo i migliori che abbia mai mangiato, ma soprattutto una lode alla crostata di caramello e noci veramente strepitosa.
Complimenti ragazzi !!
