16/08/2025: Made a reservation to celebrate a birthday. Travelled 1hr 30 mins to get to the dinner reservation at 9:15pm we were then told it could be 30 minutes minimum u til the table is ready.
The food was completely average.
It was a huge mistake to choose this facility to celebrate a 30th birthday and a huge let down for the Mandarin Oriental brand.
How can an establishment of this quality be so relaxed about this.
16/08/2025: We reserved a table the day before for 9:15 and arrived promptly, only to be told — quite casually — that we would need to wait 30–50 minutes and should go to the bar and wait there
This was surprising, especially as we had mentioned it was for a birthday. The staff assured us they would make up for the situation, yet unfortunately nothing was done.
Overall, it was not the experience one hopes for when choosing a restaurant of this level.
