15/11/2025: A spectacular place. I never used to eat anchovies, but after trying them here prepared with bread and butter, they're my new favorite food. This place is a little gem in Como. Spectacular!

03/12/2025: A hiddrn gem, ...we as a family were driving to bellagio...when we stopped near motta...for some bite with zero expectation
But with the way we were served and taken care...and by the quality of food...we were suprised
Pizzas were absolutely amazing....so was the black coffee....
We started comparing all our food/ pizza with them....
They become a benchmark for rest of trip...
And top it all....very clean washroom...

03/03/2025: Un posto tranquillo con servizio più che soddisfacente e qualità del cibo molto alta. Ambiente molto semplice. Bella vista sul lago. Consigliati i taglieri e lo spiedone di filetto. Particolarmente empatica la signora che serve (credo sia la proprietaria). Attesa nella norma. Cantina da ampliare, ma sufficiente. Consigliato!

08/12/2025: Cozy bistro with a wide choice of wines and typical regional dishes, fairly priced and with kind, attentive staff. Due to its popularity and small size, it is better to book, especially on weekends.
29/11/2025: We were greeted with kindness and helpfulness, despite arriving before opening time. The cold outside was immediately offset by the warmth and comfort of an unforgettable pork shank with polenta, top-quality cured meats, and a first course featuring a trio of meats in ragù. We drank a bottle of Nebbiolo and spent €100, including the much-appreciated discount. The setting is exquisite, with over 1,700 (I think) wine labels serving as a splendid accompaniment.

01/11/2025: After visiting Lake Como for over 10 years, this is just the sort of place we are often looking for, old school, cheap and strong quite good spritzes, not touristy, working Wi-Fi, in the town Square of Argegno (we were staying in Brienno one town over, where we visited almost exactly 10 years ago and whilst we visit Lake Como often, we have been at hotels and not been back to Brienno or Argegno since then, so it was nice to be back this summer (Brienno and the flat we rented right over the water just as charming as we remembered - Argegno more charming than we remembered), and we ended up coming here several times for Limoncello and Campari Spritzes.
My boyfriend also got Coffee for takeaway to put in the fridge and drink chilled the following mornings. Great to sit outside and relax.
21/10/2025: Very good pastry, for breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake with the kindness of the waitress.

Le plus le patron et l’équipe amicale, parfaitement théâtrale et emprunt de savoir faire. Une expérience d’une rare qualité. Musique et lumiere qui assurent l’ambiance. Merci à tous.

26/10/2025: Superb restaurant with very high quality food, impeccable service. I highly recommend trying the desserts: chestnuts with whipped cream and honey and the other: Le Bonet pietmonté wooooooooo. Excellent experience!

Right on the lake for swimming, the pool is clean but cold.
The lake is generally clear and clean.
A lounger costs €15 per person for the whole day during the week.
17/08/2025: I was here today with my son who came from Milan. I'm giving it one star because there can't be 5 dogs in 10 square meters of lawn! It's disgusting and not relaxing. We won't be back.

L’abbiamo scelto in tantissime occasioni, da una cena romantica a un pranzo domenicale in famiglia a una cena aziendale.
Una vista spettacolare e un servizio impeccabile.
Non ho nessun appunto da fare perché ci siamo sempre trovati benissimo.
Una cucina sempre di altissimo livello con piatti tipici della tradizione valtellinese.
D’estate in veranda ti godi l’aria fresca e la tranquillità, basterebbe questo per sceglierlo ancora e ancora.
Matteo è un ragazzo attento e un ottimo padrone di casa.
Sempre consigliato.
23/03/2025: Abbiamo prenotato alle 13:00 un tavolo per il nostro anniversario e ci hanno fatto sedere alle 14:15 senza darci troppe spiegazioni, se non che il primo turno non aveva ancora finito di mangiare. Peccato che non ci avevano avvisato al telefono quando abbiamo prenotato. Se avessimo saputo che fanno turni, probabilmente avremmo cambiato location.
Cibo buono ma nemmeno un gesto per scusare il ritardo di un’ora e mezza… neanche il dolce offerto o un piccolo sconto sul totale del conto. Peccato, a volte basta poco!

19/07/2025: Die Lage direkt am See ist wirklich etwas Besonderes – das leise Plätschern des Wassers, die friedliche Stimmung und ein Sonnenuntergang, wie gemalt. Der Abend begann mit einem netten Gruß aus der Küche, was einen angenehmen Einstieg bot. Das Essen war in Ordnung – nichts Spektakuläres, aber solide und passend zum entspannten Ambiente. Vor allem die Atmosphäre macht diesen Ort besonders – ideal für ruhige Stunden am Wasser.
24/06/2025: Hay un problema importante con alojarse en este hotel y no es nada específico del hotel. Es la ubicación.
Se encuentra al otro lado de la montaña en Bellagio y debido a que solo hay ocho taxistas en Bellagio ninguno de ellos quiere ir a este hotel porque no hay suficiente dinero en el viaje. Siendo dos personas de setenta años estuvimos virtualmente varados allí durante tres días. El personal del hotel aceptó que era un gran problema, pero no mostró simpatía. Mi consejo a los demás viajeros es que no vayan allí si tienen más de sesenta años o tienen algún problema de movilidad.
