19/01/2025: A really lovely spot in Argegno. Kind staff and fantastic restaurant downstairs (the included breakfast was quite impressive!) were highlights. We will be back!

15/01/2025: Great location and clean and cozy rooms. Included breakfast was really good and don’t have to look far for dinner spot. They have restaurant right downstairs that serves delicious home style meals and tiramisu is to die for! Hospitality is on point as well! Owners and staff are really kind and welcoming. Would highly recommend to stay at Hotel Argegno

05/01/2025: Very authentic - non-touristic - Italian bar, offering a great variety of coffee and delicious typical Italian cookies and cakes (please don’t expect Starbucks like cheeesecake or Frankfurter Kranz 😜) Sit down, sip your coffee and watch the coming and going on Piazza Roma and traffic on the lake

05/01/2025: Muy auténtico - no turístico - bar italiano que ofrece grandes variedades de café y deliciosas galletas y pasteles. Lo mejor es sentarse en una de las mesas exteriores, viendo el ir y venir en la Piazza Roma y una gran vista sobre el lago. Podría ser un poco ruidoso y agitado en épocas de atasco de temporada alta en la superstrada, pero la mayor parte del año es mi lugar para estar en Argegno.

26/01/2025: Ero stata un paio di anni fa e avevo un ricordo molto bello.sono tornata in questi giorni e devo dire che sono rimasta delusa. Molto buona la focaccia , il riso al lavatelo troppo grasso il lavatelo nuotata nel burro, ottime le acciughe mentre il tonno non era eccelso. Ottimo il servizio e la carta dei vini

13/11/2024: Este lugar no podría haber hecho más por nosotros como una familia con 4 niños pequeños. Estábamos encantados de sentarnos afuera, pero insistieron en que haría demasiado frío para nuestros más pequeños, así que dejaron espacio dentro para nosotros. Interactuaban con nuestros hijos, convirtiendo el ceño cansado en sonrisas. Nos trajeron panecillos extra porque nos encantaban. Nos dijeron que harían comida a los niños, especialmente si los queríamos también. Nada era demasiado problema. Definitivamente volveremos aquí. Muchas gracias a los camareros que nos cuidaron (uno de ellos tenía los ojos azules penetrantes) y el gerente. ¡Eran ángeles para nosotros ese día y nunca los olvidaremos!

23/02/2025: Rooms are spacious and clean Staff friendly and helpful Right by the forniculare - very cute town Restaurant downstairs has nice views and serves good breakfast in the morning Maybe a bit Expensive all things considered Street side is very noisy because of the Cars in the street so close to the room. I gave it 4 stars is because the room is not super luxurious or updated and still kind of expensive, but I think it's the product of the area. We had the choice between a lake view standard room or a street view double room (family room with 2 separate rooms and beds for 4 people) for about 130 euros in the middle of the week in the winter. I think though I have seen the same one bed room online for 85 euros which left me a bit perplexed because they offered it to us at 130 when we arrived asking if we wanted to change ours for that one. I'm sure they meant well but this is what happened. For us though it was great to have 2 rooms but some people might expect a little more at that price. This little town is very picturesque and we took a very nice walk up into the cunicoli and little viottoli.

23/09/2024: The staff is friendly, the place is ok, but some aspects are questionable unfortunately. Let me start by saying that it is not a matter of cost but unfortunately the quality of the pizza is nothing special and paying €8 for a baby margherita pizza or €3 for a fork, knife and paper napkin in a bag is not pleasant . Probably during the day with the light you can, from some tables, enjoy a beautiful view, but in the evening with the darkness inside you don't even have this plus.
