If I really, really had to give advice, I would put a sign on the gate to explain that it is not possible to park on site before 12.30... I had arrived 15 minutes early to see the lake and I disturbed the staff while they were having lunch... but the rest, what can I say (?), I would go back every weekend

04/01/2025: Reviewing this restaurant and trying to "evaluate" it is truly complex, because it presents such a high range of nuances and particularities that make it almost unique in its kind. Despite this, starting from the most important part, the kitchen, I found all the dishes well thought out and presented. Some of these started from a simple idea in the beginning, but then developed in a far from banal way. The staff has a level of care and attention to detail never seen before, capable of making the customer feel extremely at ease and "pampered" from every point of view. The location is something majestic, evocative, to the point that to describe it I can only refer to the attached images. In conclusion, this is without a shadow of a doubt a restaurant that deserves to be tried and rewarded for all the aspects mentioned above and which I hope will reach increasingly higher levels over time.

01/01/2025: Dinner in a refined and elegant environment. Very friendly and nice owner. Impeccable service in a very intimate setting. Fish dishes of the highest quality and freshness. Very balanced flavors of the right amount. Champagne offered at midnight. Large outdoor parking with panoramic view. Very clean facilities. Absolutely recommended if you want to eat fish at a high level.

25/08/2024: It is currently one of my favorite places. On the lakeside of Gardone Riviera, in a corner sheltered from the wind, you can eat outside already in spring. Few tables both inside and outside, where rather than serving you badly because there are too many people they prefer to treat you well by taking fewer reservations. Excellent combinations, raw materials both local and with a few km but always of the highest level. Everything from the appetizer to the dessert in a crescendo that will make you want to come back very soon.

09/11/2024: Excellent cuisine, historic venue, kindness and helpfulness. Reservation recommended, seats are a bit small. The bill was a little steep, especially if you asked to remove parts of dishes that you couldn't eat, you would expect to pay something less, not more. Nonetheless, a positive experience.

26/11/2024: Excellent food in a very well furnished place (and embellished with large murals) and served by attentive and friendly staff. We were very impressed by the carbonara with Mazara prawns and bacon, a meat-fish combination that we had never tried but which went well. Also worth mentioning is the red turnip millefeuille with Robiola cream and balsamic vinegar reduction, very particular and refined (it has a really strong flavor so I recommend it only if you really like red turnip). Otherwise, among the appetizers I highly recommend the cold cuts platter with fried gnocco.

06/10/2024: Aunque aquí se sirve un delicioso helado, Gelateria Pinguino Giallo es un lugar especial para disfrutar mucho más que esa cremosa delicia. Hemos disfrutado del almuerzo aquí cuatro veces a lo largo de los años, y sería excelente para el desayuno, también. Los panini son grandes y sabrosos, servidos en delicioso pan. El pan es local y / o casero, al igual que varias otras delicias horneadas aquí. La selección de café es excelente. Las mesas al aire libre bajo un enorme olivo, con una hermosa vista del lago de Garda, no podrían ser más cómodas y agradables. Los precios son muy justos y razonables. Añadir a todo esto top - servicio de vuelo. El personal, en su mayoría femenino, es acogedor, cálido y atento. No estoy seguro, pero Pinguino Giallo puede ser administrado y dirigido por una cooperativa de algún tipo. El personal trabaja bien en equipo, y el lugar tiene un ambiente cálido y acogedor. Complementi allo staff, buon lavoro!

30/09/2024: Incoraggiati dalle buone recensioni, per l’ora di pranzo ci siamo rivolti a questa “gelateria con cucina” ubicata in posizione strategica a Gardone Riviera, affacciata su una stretta via del centro storico ma con estensione dei tavolini sotto il porticato di piazza Marconi; quindi con vista del lago, sia pure alla lontana. Possiamo a nostra volta attribuire un giudizio positivo. In tre abbiamo ordinato una schiacciata vegetariana, una pizza margherita piccola, un’appetitosa insalatona cosiddetta “Gardone”. Tutto soddisfacente. Abbiamo accompagnato il cibo con due birre piccole, una birra artigianale e due caffè. Il tutto per circa 47 euro.
