10/08/2025: I went yesterday for both lunch and dinner (which is a precursor to this review). I had two meat dishes (picanha and fillet), both truly excellent and well-cooked (specify if you want a specific level of doneness; I didn't specify and was happy with the medium-rare they arrived). The inside can get noisy, but I don't see it as a problem given the location; the outside is quieter. The prices are fair for the quality, and the service is attentive and friendly. I'll be back again; if you're in the area, you should definitely check them out; if you're not, you could still pop in and then stroll around the town center.

02/08/2025: What can I say? There's nothing better than spending an intimate evening or with friends enjoying excellent risottos. All are freshly prepared, and even if you have to wait a few minutes, the wait is easily spent enjoying a nice glass of Darietto. A refined atmosphere and impeccable service complete the picture. Seven stars ⭐️
25/07/2025: A very cute place, with a thoughtful and unique design. The girls in the dining room are kind and knowledgeable. The food is exquisite, from appetizers to desserts. There are tons of risottos, the one with wine and salami is sublime, as is the one with pistachio and crispy speck. The only downside is that for those sitting in the room near the counter, the door slams loudly, which isn't pleasant; adjusting the door closer will dampen the bang. Exceptional value. €50 for two with an appetizer, first course, and dessert, plus a glass of wine and water. I'll definitely be back. Congratulations!

10/08/2025: I went for lunch today.
The carbonara was one of the best I've ever tasted. The quantity was truly exaggerated, and for once, it didn't come at the expense of quality.
Creamy, flavorful, the guanciale was excellent, and the pasta was cooked just right. All this combined with friendly, fast service and absolutely fair prices given the quality and quantity. I will definitely return and try something else on the menu. If you're not in the area, it might be worth making a special trip.

03/05/2025: The square was also good but guys, the hygienic and sanitary conditions of the outside tables are embarrassing.
Full of cigarette ash, crumbs and generally dirty.
In front of me the owner "cleaned" the previously occupied table with a bar napkin (the hard ones) and the only thing he achieved was spreading dirt and ash everywhere.
The staff then... you enter and they don't greet you. They play cards with customers or friends while you wait...The waitress didn't even set the table for me with a paper placemat...so I ate directly on the dirty table.
All very questionable.
Meh.

14/07/2025: Mai più. Non consigliabile. Siamo stati accolti con poca disponibilità. Eravamo in famiglia e nostra figlia, che non mangia il menù pranzo, avrebbe voluto ordinare qualcosa dal menù alla carta, ma ci è stato detto che non era possibile, senza alcuna flessibilità o comprensione.
Inoltre, abbiamo dimenticato una custodia nuova del cellulare sul tavolo e, quando siamo tornati (dopo meno di 5 minuti), ci è stato detto che non c’era più. Era evidente dove l’avevamo lasciata. Nessuno si è mostrato disponibile ad aiutarci o a cercare.
Un’esperienza negativa dall’inizio alla fine. Purtroppo, non possiamo consigliare questo ristorante.

18/08/2025: We went to Bar Par Bleu for a family breakfast: my wife, our two children, and I. The initial experience was positive, with a refined atmosphere and good products. We ordered two juices for the children, paying €3.50 each—already a bit above average for a simple juice in a village bar, but acceptable given the quality of the place.
The next day we returned for an aperitivo. We ordered two spritzes for €7 each—quite a price considering we're in Chiari, not a tourist destination—and two more juices for the children. The surprise came when we got the bill: the exact same juices as the day before were charged a whopping €5 each. When we asked for an explanation, the bartender explained the difference by citing a surcharge for aperitivo hours.
What left us perplexed was that, despite the increased price, the aperitivo appetizers were only for two people—that is, only for those who ordered spritzes, and not for the children, who were still charged the "aperitivo" price.
In short, the place is beautiful and the products are good, but the pricing seemed unclear and unjustifiable, especially in a town like Chiari, where there are other bars with the same quality but decidedly more honest prices. A little more transparency (and perhaps consistency) wouldn't hurt.
