24/08/2025: Very friendly and helpful staff. The food was also excellent. I tried the restaurant and had excellent grilled meat served on stone to keep it warm. I recommend it!
10/08/2025: Mixed cold cuts platter, mediocre cheeses, even if the quantities of cold cuts were excellent for those looking for a substantial dinner, a negative note goes to the bread, which is served at the table already cut into small pieces, small enough to enjoy a cold cut/cheese as you want when it would be enough to simply serve smaller loaves to solve any space problems or other on the table.
Anonymous bresaola pizza, without a direction on the flavor, probably due to the dough that was slightly rubbery and indeed tasteless.
Friendly but disorganized staff, I think that for 5/6 times they confused our table with other people sitting, and had to ask for water several times because they forgot, often embarrassing us for their insistence, the mistake is tolerated but making mistakes so many times I consider it more of a problem of organization than of customer flow, moreover solvable by hiring more staff.
Super positive note, the view!
However overall I would not return
I am modifying this review after the response of the owner who, moreover, from what can be read publicly, does not know how to accept criticism, becoming offensive towards customers.

21/08/2025: For the first time, I find myself at a loss for words to write a review. I thought I was on "Scherzi a Parte" (a joke). We arrived around 1:20 PM and the chef had already left, but I didn't want anything in particular and there was no point in making him come back. A sandwich or a slice of pizza, but nothing. Since I can't eat dairy products, I asked for something extremely simple and instead I was always told... "There's no chef!" Unfortunately, I had already ordered an eggplant parmigiana for my husband and it didn't seem right to leave. To avoid starving myself, I removed the mozzarella from the eggplant and tried two, obviously cut too thin or too undercooked! My advice, even if unsolicited, is "either it closes when the chef isn't there or you learn to make something that wouldn't be bad!!!"
14/08/2025: Small but welcoming place, friendly staff ready to satisfy customers' needs with a smile... excellent food especially the mixed fried fish which is my specialty...

27/07/2025: Typical restaurant, well-kept in detail, kind and always helpful staff, you eat well, typical mountain menu, very good pizza, you just have to wait a little because the kitchen prepares everything on the spot, but if you are in Serina what's the rush... the wait is worth it... and above all you have to try the tiramisu... top.

20/08/2025: Nothing like the previous management. Aside from the friendly and helpful staff, the owners are just watching. The bathrooms are gross and cleanliness is almost nonexistent. Service and food are average. Much better can be done.
08/07/2025: I can't believe how they can buy a bar that is literally perfect, the best in the area, and take less than a month to completely ruin it!
This place used to be beautiful, the outside area was so nice and well kept, the furniture was beautiful, the plants were gorgeous! Now they have put these disgusting promotional RED chairs, even the light balls outside are horrible. My whole family and friends in Serina are absolutely devastated, I hope the new owners realize what they have done and try to recreate the former glory of this otherwise beautiful place!

02/05/2025: Siamo stati alla Taverna Rottigni per pranzo il 21 aprile 2025.
La location offre una vista sulle montagne e sulle valli meravigliosa, e l'interno è curato nei minimi dettagli e molto caratteristico.
Per antipasto abbiamo preso due taglieri di salumi e formaggi buonissimi e le polpettine alle erbe e formaggio filante all'interno...assolutamente da provare! Primi piatti deliziosi e la polenta targna è da non perdere.
In 4 persone prendendo 2 taglieri, 1 porzione di polpette, 4 primi, 2 taragne con formaggio, 1 targna semplice, 2 dolci, acqua, vino e 3 caffè abbiamo speso intorno ai 125€. Tappeto qualità prezzo eccellente e non tarderemo a ritornarci!
05/04/2025: Mio ristorante preferito quando siamo in zona.
Difficile che mi deluda, sempre buono l’ antipasto della casa, buonissimi gli involtini e ottima la polenta taragna con funghi porcini.
Una cosa però mi ha deluso, il filetto ordinato da me, sono riuscito a mangiarne solo una piccola parte, il resto non si riusciva nemmeno a tagliarlo con coltello da carne.
Un piatto sbagliato può capitare
Mantengo una valutazione comunque positiva.

21/04/2025: Ci veniamo da anni e i prodotti sono sempre ottimi, sfornati giornalmente. Il personale e’ gentile e accogliente.
E’ sempre un piacere fermarsi.
09/01/2025: Giorno 5 gennaio .Nonostante qualche recensione negativa,decidiamo di andare a provare la colazione,brioche e spremuta fresche,abbiamo trovato personale gentile,tavoli puliti, cani di media taglia in veranda esterna, e una squisita pasticceria.
nonostante fosse arrivato un cappuccio al posto di un latte bianco per mia figlia,è stato rifatto in tempo breve.
Abbiamo trovato un locale e sito completamente rinnovato.
Complimenti!! Sicuramente torneremo per provare i caffè gourmet dall'aspetto molto invitanti.👏

23/12/2024: Siamo andati ieri sera a prendere un aperitivo io e mio marito, uno da 6 e uno da 7 euro, ci hanno portato qualche stuzzichino per altro non richiesto, come del resto si usa all'ora dell'aperitivo, e cmq non era certo un tagliere da 6 euro. Conto 19 euro! Mi dispiace , ma non ci andremo piu', prima ci andavamo ....
03/11/2024: Ci siamo stati più volte per l'aperitivo.
Location meravigliosa e gestita da ragazzi giovani e davvero molto molto molto competenti. Gentilezza, raffinatezza contraddistinguono questo locale. Prossimamente proveremo anche il ristorante.
Consiglio assolutamente.
Bravi a tutti siete professionali e di una gentilezza disarmante.

03/08/2025: Our stay was truly pleasant. The owner and all the staff were extremely kind and helpful, making us feel welcome from the very first moment.
The room was very clean, comfortable, and cozy, and we enjoyed a breathtaking view from our balcony in the morning. The very convenient parking space also made everything easier.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing experience and impeccable service.
We will definitely be back.
