09/08/2025: One of the best pizzas in the area, definitely the best takeout: excellent ingredients and dough, cooked in a wood-fired oven and customizable with any combination of ingredients. VERY good and affordable prices, especially considering the quality of the product itself.
01/04/2025: Awesome place! I only gave it 3 stars for the ambiance because it's not really a restaurant, but more of a place to pick up pizzas. But we made ourselves comfortable at one of the small high tables and tried all the "small" pizzas! 😂🙈
Simply too delicious to eat just one! 👌🏼😋
We stopped by in our campervan on our way back from our trip; the flyer was available at the campsite in Lovere.
It's 800m from the parking lot.
Highly recommended! 👌🏼

23/01/2026: Lunch at midday on a weekday during the Christmas holidays.
The lady in charge is extremely kind and tries her best to make the customer feel at ease.
I made a reservation and she thanked me.
The food was delicious. Maybe not an overwhelming variety, but it was well prepared and delicious. The salad with vegetables and shellfish and the miso soup were delicious. I've never found them this good anywhere else.
13/01/2026: Good food and portions without too much rice, much more fish, which is a plus because you usually find rolls filled with rice. Not here. Excellent service, friendly and courteous, but also very quick. The atmosphere is small, but for that very reason, it's very nice and welcoming. Definitely a sushi place worth trying.

22/08/2025: The staff were kind and welcoming. I had a fantastic pizza. I'll be coming here more often. After a while, I'm sorry to hear what I'm about to add. Courtesy is lacking. No response to greetings when entering or leaving. The staff serving tables just needs a scolding to give customers a good shake, who would have been better off staying home than bothering those who want to be left alone. I repeat: courtesy is lacking!

16/02/2026: A very welcoming and impeccably clean restaurant. The food and fish are delicious, made with fresh ingredients and perfectly plated. The only flaw is that the waiters rarely smile, several dishes from the online menu are missing, and the desserts are very limited.
Excellent value for money.
I returned after the reopening and must say that the service has significantly improved. The atmosphere is very refined and pleasant, the food and fish are excellent, and the value for money is good, considering they don't charge a cover charge. The desserts are exceptional.
My compliments.

The burgers and fries were incredibly delicious, and the portions were really large.
The price was completely reasonable, and we received very friendly service.

02/12/2025: The place is simply incredible; Costa Paradiso is a beautiful holiday destination. My husband and I ordered spaghetti bongole bottarga, and my children had pizza. Everything was delicious, and as mentioned before, the atmosphere is very welcoming. The only downside was the service. Last year we were served by a waiter from Argentina (I think), and he was incredibly friendly and attentive. He set the bar very high, in my opinion. Apart from that, everything was more than perfect, and I hope to return next year.
22/09/2025: I'm sorry, but for me it's a big no.
What can I say? From the service, we arrive and the owner tells us table 4. Without any welcome, we go and sit down. Her daughter arrives later, as I understand it, and says, "Who made them sit there? It's not their table."
The food? Lobster salad full of too many condiments: olives, cherry tomatoes, tomato carpaccio, avocado.
Not to mention the scampi, scallops, and guanciale. I don't know the chef, but I respect him because he killed those scallops twice, overcooked.
But we didn't let ourselves be intimidated and moved on to the first courses. The papardella was good, even if it was tasteless with the frozen mushrooms.
But the horror was my companion's dish: calmarata with gurnard and red mullet. Then they brought us a pasta dish full of olives that tasted only of Tagalog olive oil.
He didn't eat any of it.
All in all? I didn't try the pizza, but maybe it's better.
Indeed the wine is very good, compliments to the Vignola wineries.

Gigi is the best when you want to feel at home.
20/12/2025: I often come here with my friends, and every time we feel right at home. Paie and freedom are the key words. The Protectorate also always surprises with its "Lemon Gigi," a bitter liqueur that rounds off the evening beautifully. Recommended!
