10/03/2026: I stayed at this hotel with my entire team, and I genuinely cannot think of a single positive thing to say. Not one. Let’s start with the breakfast — or what they dare to call a breakfast. The buffet was half-empty from the moment we arrived, and not once did anyone bother to refill anything. Staff walked past the depleted trays like they were invisible. No checks, no awareness, no urgency. The rooms? No water. Not a bottle, not a jug, nothing. A basic courtesy that every hotel on the planet manages to provide, and this place couldn’t be bothered. Cleaning was a joke. We were in our rooms and housekeeping simply… didn’t come. No knock, no note, no fresh towels. Apparently the concept of scheduling around guests hasn’t reached this establishment yet. And then there was the front office. We were harassed — and I use that word deliberately — about payment. Repeated requests, and then an actual knock on our door demanding payment that had already been made. Already. Processed. Done. The sheer audacity of disturbing guests in their rooms over a payment that was settled is beyond unprofessional. To make matters worse, our flights were cancelled due to an ongoing war situation — completely outside our control. We needed to extend our stay. Rather than showing an ounce of human decency or compassion in an already distressing situation, the hotel’s response was cold and unhelpful. Asking for payment again and not waiting till checkout for our extended days. Not a shred of empathy for guests stranded through no fault of their own. But what topped it all was the overall treatment. Cold, indifferent, borderline rude. As a group, we felt completely unwelcome — like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers. There was zero hospitality. Zero warmth. Zero effort. Brescia deserves better. Do yourself a favour and stay literally anywhere else.
