23/05/2026: Welcoming place, the only small flaw is that there's no air conditioning. Friendly and courteous staff, efficient and fast service. Excellent selection on the menu, both seafood and meat. For those who want pizza, there's a wide selection. Good value for money. We had an appetizer, a first course, a second course, a half-liter of wine, dessert, water, coffee, and grappa. All good. Recommended.

19/04/2026: Dinner on Saturday, April 18, 2026. The restaurant is located just outside Cairo Montenotte in a charming spot that I think is fantastic in the summer. The location and interior are welcoming. The menu features a few well-chosen dishes; the blue cheeses are a must-try. I must emphasize that, following a small mishap that occurred unintentionally with one of the two managers, the correctness in rectifying the situation was impeccable. It means a lot to me because it shows how much they care about their guests! I recommend it and will definitely be back. It's best to book!

24/06/2026: Terrible experience, ridiculous portions and to eat like that I went to Villa Crespi, a agriturismo, a 5* restaurant with a starred chef. After I started complaining about the portions, they started asking if I wanted seconds of things, I had also complained about a first course with gorgonzola because when I booked 4 times I said that there should not be anything with gorgonzola after a while the owner came to the table, with an unprofessional and arrogant attitude saying to me: "I remind you that on the phone I told you that if there was anything else we would give it to the person who cannot eat gorgonzola" IF THERE WAS SOMETHING ELSE? Let's remember that allergies also exist, and there is a risk. In fact, to tell the truth, they do not have any type of information on allergens which is required by law to have them, and it is obligatory to respect them because you also risk sanctions provided for the failure to indicate the allergens, perhaps he has not even taken the HCCP course. So he should not say IF THERE WAS but there must be something else since I said it in time. Anyway, all this in front of my guests, three of whom were upset seeing how she behaved. Then since I had to decide on the grill because when I asked for 4 off-menu items even paying for them separately I was denied, then when they brought the grilled meat we were asked if we wanted leftover wild boar and already when I heard the word leftover I bit my tongue. But oh well I let it go, but I was hoping for grilled meat I said at least I will eat that since since I was nervous I hadn't eaten the first courses and instead not even the meat because the ribs and some pieces of sausage were raw and some overcooked, the chops of shoe insoles were so cooked, my guests didn't even finish it they ate some pieces because I just described THE COOKING. I took the photos to show that my review is truthful. First and last time, the place? Only the location is saving grace, which is nice, but especially the girls in the dining room who were very friendly. But in the meantime he will respond by finding a way to turn the tables, as he has done in other negative reviews. I just read your comment, it makes me laugh quite a lot because I have all the messages from the diners at my table that speak for themselves, which obviously I cannot publish due to privacy issues, how can you say that you received compliments when we received raw pork and they didn't even touch the meat? I HAVE LOTS OF TESTIMONIALS OF HOW SHE PRESENTED AT THE TABLE ARROGANTLY, TELLING ME THAT SHE HAD TOLD ME THAT IF YOU HAD ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD GIVE IT TO THE PERSON WHO DIDN'T EAT GORGONZOLA BUT SHE DIDN'T HAVE TO SAY IF WE HAD BUT YOU MUST HAVE ANYTHING ELSE AND STRANGELY THE SAME RAVIOLI YOU HAD SERVED AT THE WEDDING OOP RIGHT THEY WERE LEFT LIKE WILD BOAR. I HAVE HER MESSAGES FROM WHEN I ASKED FOR SOMETHING OFF THE MENU WITH A NEGATIVE ANSWER AND STRANGELY THEY HAD CAME OUT. A LIAR. I HAVE THEIR MESSAGES OF WHAT THEY SAY AND I AM THE ONE WHO APOLOGIZED TO THEM FOR THE RAW MEAT SERVED AT THE TABLE AND THE PHOTOS SPEAK, AND IT'S NOT TRUE THAT I COMPLAINED FROM THE TIME I SAT DOWN BUT FROM THE TIME I SAW THE FIRST YOU SEE HOW THEY TRY TO TURN THE OMELETTE

21/06/2026: We had a wonderful experience at Cascina del Vai. A welcoming place where you immediately feel at home, thanks to the friendliness and professionalism of the owners, Alberto, and his daughters, Elena and Benedetta, always smiling, helpful, and attentive to every detail. The cuisine is simply excellent: all dishes are prepared with the freshest, locally sourced ingredients, showcasing the authentic flavors of the area. Each course is crafted with passion and quality, and you can sense their love for their work. Kudos also to all the staff, who are truly kind, helpful, and always ready to satisfy every need with a smile. If you're looking for a farmhouse where you can eat excellently, relax, and feel welcomed like family, Cascina del Vai is a choice I highly recommend!

13/12/2025: RECOMMENDED!! A truly unique place with outdoor seating 💪👍 (see attached photos). Even the interior has its own personality, with friendly staff and equally refined food... perhaps a little limited on the menu (maybe it was just a bad night). The only flaw, in my opinion, is the menu board made from a PSC tile (faux parquet). It's a nice touch, but unfortunately, we had a hard time reading the ink. Maybe use a marker... but these are small details!! Great job!! We'll definitely be back.

30/05/2026: What a lovely surprise: we were passing through and stumbled upon it by chance. Good, authentic cuisine. The tagliata was exceptional, even though I asked for it well done, and it was tender and tasty (a real thank you to the kitchen). The waiters were excellent. Very kind and they go the extra mile. Well done, well done, it's a team effort, and yours is a winning one. Well done.

28/03/2026: We were three people and a bland appetizer arrived for three people, costing €13. Then we got two pizzas with good ingredients, but the pasta arrived 10 minutes after the pizzas were delivered. I asked for cheese and it wasn't delivered. I ordered coffee and it came with water and coffee mixed together. It's a shame about the cozy location but the terrible service. I'll never go back.
