The meat is tremendous! All other foods are very good too!
The seating area is shielded off from the environment by a non-see-through wooden fence. The area is nice. It will get wet tho when it rains.

31/08/2024: I have already been several times to the friends who run this place, I call them friends even though I have only known them for a short time, but they were immediately welcoming, cheerful, always available to chat and tell us about their specialties.
The place is beautiful, in a historic courtyard, where they have been able to combine art and color with the ancient context, you can see that one of the owners is an artist... for me, color is life, they have certainly finally brought a bit of joy to me valley!
The focaccias are amazing, and the cocktails are top-notch.
I like to feel a little enclosed in a world where life flows slower and more pleasant... aperitif always top notch... nothing but the usual focaccias and stale pizzas, nothing but chips and peanuts... get some advice, and you won't be disappointed disappointed, a highly recommended place for an evening of delicious hospitality, thank you...see you soon!😊🤩😘

Cristina a legend.. amazing focaccias (stracchino and nutella to try!!!) .. and then everything else.. ravioli, braised tagliatelle.. very good even if they are Genoans (only flaw so to speak) 😂😂😂😂 we will definitely be back!

27/07/2024: All very good, friendly staff. The only slightly sore point is that inside there is a lot of confusion, it is difficult to converse with the people you are with, due to the too loud voices of the various guests and the echo. When you go out you feel like you are reborn. For the rest everything is excellent. I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic dinner.

18/08/2024: Pizza and pasta dishes are great! Service was very friendly and accommodating, special requests were fulfilled immediately without any ifs or buts. Despite the high number of visitors, there is hardly any waiting time for the food.

19/05/2024: Change of management and new opening in spring 2024! The owner is very smart and not a novice: previously she had already had a bar in another town not far away, which enjoyed an excellent turn. We are happy in Cairo that he decided to take up this activity. Pleasant and welcoming place, in a privileged central position in the most frequented area of the historic centre. It overlooks a spacious square. Large selection of wines and gins inside. Perhaps a little overpriced in relation to the place, but if the slightly higher prices contribute to not having kids making noise, making noises and potentially causing damage both inside and outside, then this could also be a further positive factor, both for the customers than for the image of the place. We have already been there several times and had a good time, we hope it will be able to contribute to the Cairo nightlife. We are pleased to note the provision of a Cairo-Carcare shuttle on a recent evening, so you can go out without having to get behind the wheel.

If you don't feel like it, go to the construction site like me and then we'll talk about it again. Serving is an art that not everyone can do

Service: Slow and twice I had to order water which didn't arrive
Menu: price/quality did not satisfy me.
I order a cocacola
They bring me a liter and a half bottle expired in 2023
Very politely I tell the owner in a low voice that the cocacola is out of gas and that I realized that it had expired in 2023
The bottle remained on the table and as an apology he replied that his daughter at the next table was also drinking it and that he didn't notice
The price remained unchanged
Overall I didn't like it

una cosa da osservare, pulitissimi.
21/07/2024: L’unica esperienza negativa di questa permanenza a Cairo è stata proprio in questa pizzeria ristorante la grotta..a partire dall accoglienza che il titolare voleva sapere quanto saremmo rimasti..una volta seduti i camerieri compresa la cuoca vestita con gli abiti da cucina facevano a gara a chiederti se potevano portare via il piatto..senza contare che tra una portata e l’altra sono passati 10 minuti contati.. VERGOGNOSI.. Zero professionalità…Mai più
