20/12/2025: A little gem in Balestrino! Il Dolce Castello is a lovely, cozy café with some of the best pastries I've had in the area. You can truly taste the difference because everything is handmade, in-house, with real care and quality ingredients.
Katiuscia runs the place with the help of her mother, and you immediately feel the warm, family atmosphere—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Perfect stop for an excellent coffee and something sweet (or two). Highly recommended if you're nearby!

A little gem in Balestrino! Il Dolce Castello is a truly cute and welcoming café, with one of the best pastries I've tried in the area. You can immediately taste the quality because they make everything in-house, with care and passion.
Katiuscia runs the place with the help of her mother: the atmosphere is familiar, warm, and they make you feel immediately welcome. Perfect for an excellent coffee and a dessert (or two). Highly recommended if you're in the area!

01/01/2026: We only used the restaurant service. The dishes were delicious and carefully prepared. Congratulations!
28/10/2025: The meal took forever (about 1.25 hours). When it finally arrived at the table, we were massively mobbed by the owner's smelly dog, who even licked my legs. There was no way to get him away (until the guests next to us got their food and they had the same problem), and the owner didn't care. Since the food at a nearby restaurant was tastier, we won't be eating here again.
