27/07/2025: I don't usually write negative reviews because I respect the work and those who work there, and I don't like it! I usually prefer not to write. Unfortunately, however, there were some serious shortcomings, and I can't help but write a review. In fact, in my opinion, this place still needs a lot of training, especially in terms of service and kitchen organization. It's unacceptable that someone ordered a dish (gratin calamari) at 12:15 and it was served at 1:45 PM, arriving only because I complained and pointed out that etiquette and common sense dictate that service should be served in decreasing order based on the orders taken, not at will. I noticed, in fact, that tables arriving much later had their dishes, and I stared at the wall waiting! Given the obvious discrimination, I'm justified in getting impatient and therefore calling the wait staff's attention to their mistake. Justifying yourself by claiming the room was full and everyone had ordered different dishes isn't the customer's problem. They're willing to pay 15 euros for a main course because they just wanted a quiet Sunday lunch, like everyone else in the world who chooses to dine out to be pampered. Of course, the dish arrived, but it still had to be cooked, not to mention the forced presentation. Catering isn't a job you can just do suddenly; either you know how to do it, or you're better off changing careers!
PS: If you can't manage the kitchen with à la carte orders, there's always the option of a set menu.

06/08/2025: We stopped here for lunch on a road trip and are so glad we did! The owners were so kind, making sure we didn’t park our car in the nearby tow zone and we very patient with us not speaking Italian. The pizza was delicious!

15/08/2025: On the evening of August 15, 2025, two of us ate two pizzas with cooked ham. The restaurant isn't air-conditioned, and, partly due to the mosquitoes, the experience was a little less pleasant than expected. We had specifically opted away from the sea because the pizzeria had a 9.2 rating on The Fork.
The cover charge was €5: we're not used to paying that amount without a minimum level of comfort.
The waitresses were very welcoming, however: kind and professional. The pizza looked good, but I personally didn't prefer it to many others. The dough wasn't bad, but it didn't seem like high-quality flour; the cooked ham, probably Rovagnati as advertised, was average, and the mozzarella was adequate.
We had asked for arugula, which cost us €2 more, but the amount was so minimal it was almost nonexistent. Honestly, for three leaves of arugula, we expected the extra charge not to be added.
We chose this pizzeria over other seaside ones, partly because the outdated online menu suggested cheaper prices; in reality, they're in line with those of seaside pizzerias.
Pros: wood-fired pizza, clean restaurant, and a charming exterior.
Unfortunately, however, compared to the reviews we'd read, we were disappointed.

12/07/2025: A gem in the heart of Santo Stefano di Magra. Limited seating, but an extremely refined restaurant, both in the dining room and in the dishes.
Care, attention, and love are evident in every course, without losing the family atmosphere you sense as soon as you enter.
The service is also excellent, almost personalized, and contributes to the restaurant's warmth.
You absolutely must try it to fall in love with it.

08/06/2025: I go regularly every 2 months to eat pizza which, I find, very good and digestible. I always bring friends, relatives and/or work colleagues and everyone agrees on the quality of the pizza.
The environment and the service are basic level, but because it is a mainly take-away pizzeria, table service is not provided, but the manager and the collaborators, always create a family atmosphere. For a pizza with friends in an informal environment it is perfect. I also recommend it for lunch. They are fast and you can enjoy the pizza and return to work without delay.

20/08/2025: I found this bakery/pastry shop by chance. They were about to close, but they were incredibly helpful and served me despite a large order of about 40 pastries that were closing! The cream puffs and Sachertorte were delicious; they saved my evening!
14/08/2025: Hi, I've had pizza and focaccia on several occasions
and occasionally a croissant with coffee. Excellent.

22/06/2025: Shopping center on the outskirts of the city, right on the highway leading to Genoa and Pisa. Inside, the supermarket is a Conad. It has a large underground parking area, with other large shopping centers nearby.

My favorite is the gourmet pizza No. 3, the Armando pizza with mandolin.
Outstanding!
I recommend this place.
04/07/2025: Pizzeria with inadequate indifferent staff, very slow service, I strongly advise against it, the pizza looked like wood, we sat down and waited an hour before they brought us the pizza which was disgusting!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT

30/06/2025: Place with pros and cons: the good features include the fun karaoke system and the quality of the food (I tried the sgabei), but the portions are rather "minimal" and the "homemade" service leaves a bit to be desired. In addition, I find it absolutely necessary to increase the indications on the signs of the nearby streets, because, unless a person is very knowledgeable about the area, it will be difficult to get there based on the small signs present at the moment.

Pleasant and courteous staff!
17/08/2025: It's been a while since I've been, it was a busy evening, but it doesn't justify the two-hour wait, sitting at the table, to eat.
Next time, have someone or two cut the cold cuts and the focaccia into ribbons, so maybe everyone can be served at the right time and then we can wait for the rest.
Instead, some people were already at dessert or had finished, and some were still waiting to eat 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
The food was also good.

21/08/2025: Dated hotel. The room we stayed in was quite run-down, with a half-broken French window, a rusty towel warmer, a blind bathroom with a fan that begged for mercy.
The parking lot is a pothole.
Breakfast has limited choices and all packaged products.
It doesn't justify the price.
It's a shame because, on the contrary, the staff is very kind and helpful, and the restaurant area is very beautiful.

05/08/2025: We recently moved to Ponzano and tried this pizzeria and I have to say we were very satisfied. The pizza and farinata were very good and the staff were very friendly. I recommend it.
06/07/2025: The worst pizza I've ever eaten, I've even found better abroad. I order 2 pizzas, a margherita and a mozzarella, chips and sausage, plus a focaccia with mozzarella and raw ham and farinata... they were supposed to be pizzas by the slice but he couldn't make them for me, so we opted for a small round pan... The pizzas and focaccia were large, I hadn't asked for a large farinata anymore. Ok I pay... the beauty of €42 for 2 pizzas, focaccia and a portion of farinata, I emphasize that I had asked for the pizzas to be small. Margherita €11, never seen such an exaggerated price, chips, mozzarella and sausage €14 and the focaccia €10... the rest was the farinata. The pizza with the chips was uneatable, very raw inside and raw chips, the mozzarella, a block that covered the entire puddle, seemed like icing. You couldn't even feel the mozzarella in the focaccia and the ham was very salty. We didn't even open the margherita because we were disgusted by the one with the chips... the only good thing was the farinata.
In the photo you can see the height of the "pizza" and the anemic color of the raw chips. I was torn between coming there directly and leaving that crap outside the door. Except for the farinata, everything went in the organic bin.
