05/01/2026: Unlike the first time we stayed, I have to give a negative review. The room was large with a balcony, but it was cold, despite the staff's intervention to resolve the issue by raising the temperature of the split air conditioning. The bathroom was cold, making it difficult to shower; the window frame was outdated and let the cold in.

04/01/2026: I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Morandi in Sanremo while visiting the city as a contestant for the Sanremo Senior 2025 event in late October. I stayed for four nights and felt comfortable and well looked after from the moment I arrived. The hotel offered everything I needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I especially enjoyed the morning breakfast, which featured a great variety of foods and beverages and was a perfect start to each day. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and I truly appreciated the pleasant conversations with all the staff, who were friendly, attentive and made me feel at home throughout my stay. Being in such a beautiful city made the experience even more special, and Hotel Morandi was a wonderful place to return to after busy days connected to the event. My time in Sanremo was truly memorable, and the comfort and hospitality of the hotel played a big part in that. I would happily stay here again and sincerely hope to return in the future. 21/12/2025: The focaccia is good, perhaps one of the best in Sanremo, but they're not transparent. More than once, I've been charged more slices than I ordered on the receipt, or they've inflated the prices. Yesterday, however, I ordered focaccia with olives and they didn't give me a receipt. Since it's happened to me more than once, I don't consider it an oversight!

13/12/2025: The food was excellent, the place was beautiful, but that's about it. The staff was completely disorganized; you can't waste people's time waiting in line. The outside tables were left dirty for a long time, becoming banquets for hungry and aggressive pigeons. What a shame.

10/10/2025: A year and a half ago, we visited this little café several times during our vacation, or rather, sat outside and enjoyed an aperitif and some of the numerous delicacies. Simply a wonderful little piazza with very attentive staff. I'd especially like to highlight the super-friendly employee with the reddish-blonde hair, who offered us the most amazing morsi to go with our Campari and Aperol – we still often think back to the Pasta Madre ❤️🫶🏼 and hope we'll come back to this wonderful place again.

We ordered a freshly baked pizza with an artisanal crust full of character, a flaky croissant, a slice of homemade apple cake, and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice — vibrant and full of life. Every item was thoughtfully prepared and served with care. The setting was cozy, with a small table just outside, perfect for enjoying the street’s calm atmosphere. The staff was welcoming and kind, offering just the right amount of attention. And the rich, aromatic coffee we finished with brought everything together beautifully. Pasta Madre il Fornaio doesn’t try to impress with extravagance — it wins you over with honesty, great flavor, and genuine hospitality. A perfect stop for anyone exploring Sanremo in search of authentic taste and peaceful moments.

01/10/2025: Found by chance, on the side of a road and well hidden. Lovely terrace and very pretty interior. Warm and friendly welcome. Excellent cuisine and perfect service. Relaxed atmosphere. Thanks to the whole team, we will be back.

18/10/2025: I've never been to such a bad restaurant. The portions are ridiculous and the food is simply disgusting. I ordered a burrata pizza: I was served a pizza that could have built a wall with it, it was so hard, and the burrata was actually plastic mozzarella. On the menu, there was a dish with three fish tartares. We asked if it was possible to have just the tuna tartare. We were told yes, but the portion served wasn't even worthy of a portion from a children's menu for a price of €20. The dish was finished (no exaggeration) in two forkfuls. To all you future customers reading this review: Run away! You'll save your time, your money, your teeth, and your stomach. This restaurant is atrocious. I'm only giving it one star because I can't give it less. Besides, the French are looked down upon here.

18/10/2025: I went to the real IL DEHOR DEL MARINAIO a few years ago, it was very good. Went back tonight, they've sold out, it's become a basic restaurant: the meat isn't good, the desserts aren't good enough... the coffee isn't good. This restaurant is a disgrace to Italy. Run away!

The other day I received a kebab with rotten rat meat and for dessert, homemade yogurt sauce with the wife's classic gionata from Lives on the Edge.
