03/04/2024: On vacation for 3 days in Cogoleto, we came across the establishment by chance and were not disappointed to the point of returning the following 2 days!
Excellent and inventive cuisine, friendliness and professionalism of the service, good kitchen/service synchronization, very reasonable prices. Absolutely taste the seafood bisque dishes (gnochetti or fettuce)! I highly recommend this restaurant which is an obligatory stop for any visit to Cogoleto!!!

17/03/2024: This small restaurant in the center of Cogoleto is very nice. The wait, more than an hour, to receive our order was really too long. The salmon was delicious, the fettuccine with pistachio pesto and swordfish were superb but the pasta was overcooked, a lot. The fried calamari was good, the frying was very light and perhaps a little too salty. We will return in the evening to taste the pizzas.

21/03/2024: They continue to call ragu the common tomato sauce, not even the shadow of meat. The same tomato with which they season ravioli and pass off as "touch", abominable. The portions are scant, two laser-cut slices of something they call roast, where have the old trattorias gone? The only thing that's old here is the environment.
21/03/2024: Excellent restaurant, friendly and helpful staff.
The stewed stockfish, a typical dish of Castelletto, is absolutely worth trying.
Better to book in advance, even during the week.

23/03/2024: I ate some squid and octopus tentacles worthy of praise, apparently it was the catch of the day, therefore not always available, accompanied by delicious artichokes and potatoes. Very good and the girl who took the orders was very knowledgeable, it wasn't the case for us when it came to drinking because we took water and a small beer, but at the nearby tables I listened to her advice on drinking, having a bar I'm always very curious, she was superb in advice! Well done

10/03/2024: Sebbene il menu parli da sé, è doveroso aggiungere che le papille gustative cantino ad ogni boccone!!! La cura dei piatti e della materia prima è eccellente, come la professionalità di chi lavora, che parte ancora prima di recarsi qui, dalla prenotazione, in cui la richiesta di intolleranze o preferenze alimentari non è così facile da trovare.
Gli accostamenti e i sapori sono originali e sorprendenti.
Superbo!!

05/04/2024: Butcher's shop with counter and kitchen/restaurant that had been recommended to me... intrigued, I went there immediately and honestly, it went beyond my expectations... in addition to the quality of the meat, I was struck by the quality of the cuisine. I decided to take mostly more typical things, Genoese artichoke top, carpione meatballs, meat pizza and green kidney... I was really impressed by the positive aspects of the flavours, some of which I had never tried and which I really appreciated. An important note, the 3 guys who were in the room, very good at their job and prepared, and also cute and friendly... what can I say, I recommend it and I really liked it!

16/12/2023: Ho mangiato veramente bene, consiglio vivamente di prendere gli antipasti misti, lo staff molto gentile ed accogliente, lo consiglio molto.
12/12/2023: Tipica osteria che presenta piatti della tradizione molto rinnovati con aggiunta di liquori e mantecature non proprio liguri. Si parte alla grande con gli antipasti, un crescendo di piatti e di intingoli, quantità che soddisfano palati dei turisti. Non di meno i primi, con risivitazioni fantasiose ma dal palato fine. Leggermente sotto tono i secondi con Maltagliati e costine cucinate con vino Porto. Bisogna però tornare altre volte. Locale modesto in pieno stile entro terra ligure con serramenti aperti ad ogni corrente, vintage e forse un po’ di trascuratezza ( voluta) Proprietari preparati e affabili, sempre attenti, gentili, professionisti pronti a dialogare di ogni argomento con i foresti più disparati. Si passano alcune ore luculliane tra vino, amari e chiacchiere in un ambiente vivace e poco raccolto. Conti in regola ( non si regala nulla)

29/03/2024: Honestly, we got so lucky that this restaurant was open and welcomed us. The reviews on Google are breathtakingly unfair.
The service is by a local family, beloved by the locals, and yet absolutely welcoming to us as foreigners. We speak no Italian, yet our hostess was willing to help us in English and even gave us excellent recommendations on food and wine.
Speaking of which, both were excellent. The fish was absolutely fresh and perfectly cooked. The mussels they served had the perfect consistency and not gritty at all. The wine was perfectly paired with both and we really appreciated that it came from a local winery. They also had local cakes that absolutely hit the spot.
When we visit again, we will definitely visit again!
28/03/2024: 3.8 stars is criminally low. We had a variety of dishes, _all_ were excellent. The table service was top-notch. Ignore the low ratings.
