18/09/2025: There are about 5 bars on the square, on Saturday night this bar was the only one full of people - that is, the garden in front of the bar. Very good beer and food and reasonable prices. I was impressed by the hamburger, the composition of which you determine yourself by choosing from the menu - see photo. If I ever get to these parts again, we will definitely come back for food and beer.
30/08/2025: A place I've had in my heart for five years, since I discovered Vasanello.
A welcoming place, with polite and welcoming staff.
The cuisine is characterized by top-quality products.
The menu is well-chosen to ensure the quality of the ingredients is always fresh, a point I find more advantageous than menus full of lavish dishes.
I could recommend everything, but especially the arrosticini and chicken wings.
I love bold flavors, and paired with a good beer and an indefinite amount of fries, happiness is served.

22/01/2026: Located just steps from the medieval historic center, this welcoming restaurant serves truly delicious food, especially the first courses. Service was prompt, despite the restaurant being packed. Prices are slightly above average, but I would improve the dining room service, which is a bit too cold.

04/10/2025: L’Angoletto Goloso is my go-to breakfast bar in Vasanello, and the place I miss most when I’m away. It’s family-run and warmly, unmistakably Vasanese: regulars chatting at the counter, a few outdoor tables facing the castle, and staff who greet you like neighbors. The atmosphere is unhurried and genuine, exactly what you hope to find in a small Italian town.
The cappuccino is exceptional. The microfoam is silky and glossy, never bubbly, and somehow holds its texture to the last sip. I usually plan for one and end up ordering three—yes, it’s that good.
Pair it with the morning pastries in the glass case: cornetti, either simple or filled: crema pasticcera, chocolate, or seasonal jams. There are flaky seed-topped and whole-grain versions, too, and they’re often still warm. Everything tastes freshly made and not overly sweet, which lets the coffee shine.
Service is quick and kind, prices are fair, and the team remembers returning guests. It opens early enough for an espresso before a day trip, and the little place under the parasols is perfect for watching the piazza come to life. Nothing here is flashy; it’s simply consistent, heartfelt hospitality and skill behind the bar.
If you want a 100% authentic Vasanello breakfast—great cappuccino, perfect cornetti, and a warm, family feel—start your day at L’Angoletto Goloso. I always do, and I always long to come back.

30/08/2025: Very tasty ice cream. There are many original flavors that I have only seen here. For example, rum baba. My favorite is Amarena with real cherry.

The fish is very good!
25/01/2026: I called in the late afternoon and they very kindly reserved a place for me that evening. The host of the property recommended the place to us. We wanted to keep it "light" and opted for a baked potato and two "risottos." Pescatora and cream of scampi.
The quotation marks are a must.
The pescatora was completely unrelated to the seasoning. In short, the risotto was completely missing. It simply seemed like boiled and drained rice with the seasoning added at the end. That's called rice. The risotto is another story. However, there was little seafood, only mussels (2 or 3) without the mollusk but stuffed with rice. Two clams. A shrimp, a razor clam, and a scampi. The quantities are not approximate, alas, but real.
The rice was completely dry and unseasoned.
The "best" part was the "risotto with cream of scampi." It should be redefined as "cream with rice."
My husband left it, I tasted it... it was inedible, you could really taste the cream, it was so greasy. It tasted awful.
The waitress justified herself by saying that cream is necessary (and thank you!) and that they always make it that way... I hope for their sake it's not like that!!! She offered us some other dishes as alternatives, but we declined. The baked potatoes were good (hence the two stars).
In the end, they charged us for both "risottos."
Two risottos, a baked potato, two small Cokes, a bottle of water, €49. You decide!
Obviously, the woman at the cash register felt sorry for my husband... "I'm sorry you didn't eat anything."
I replied, "She must be sorry, but in the meantime, she made us pay for it!"
I'll end with the final
"Yes, because it's with the card..."... what?!
So, something you absolutely didn't explain, if I paid cash, you would give me a discount?!... bah! I don't recommend the seafood risottos; I hope at least the meat turns out well.
Not recommended.
